About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart - I convinced my parents to foster a momma and her litter of 6 when I was a child and finally rescued my own kitty in college. I now proudly live in a 2-cat 1-dog household and have the fur-covered clothes to match! My love for cats of all kinds grew when I worked at a pet boarding facility over the summer of 2021 where my favorite days were when I was assigned the Cat Room. Learning the unique and silly ways each cat client liked to play and cuddle was an endless joy of mine; I truly connected with and loved each critter that came into our care as though they were my own. “Great for cats and dogs with special needs or who require extra care. You won't regret it! This was Bean's second stay with Alexis. Last time it was just a long weekend and this time a full week. I was anxious about leaving her for so long, but I shouldn't have worried for a second, especially after Alexis did such a great job the first time. Alexis is fantastic - you'll get daily photos and she's quick to respond to Rover messages. Bean looked happy and spoiled in every picture I got - which is saying something because she can be a grumpy little cat. Bean is special needs (a neurological condition with mobility issues) and I trust Alexis completely to keep her safe and make sure she gets her medications. Her place is one floor which means no stairs (except for the flight up to her place) which was great for Bean. My lengthy instructions didn't phase Alexis and she handled it all like a pro (because she is!). Her little dogs are sweet and well-behaved. I'm not worried about Bean around them in the slightest - she lives with a much larger dog who she pushes around so these two didn't seem to phase her. Alexis clearly loves animals and will do everything she can to make sure your baby is comfortable, happy, and safe during their stay with her. I will be booking her again and again! I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). About: I can't remember a time that I didn't have at least one dog. I often had several at a time and they all lived a long and happy life with tons of love and affection! About: I have cared and worked with cats and dogs since a young age. I will take my time to get to know your animals and they will trust and look forward to seeing me! I work as an educator, so my summer is open and super flexible. In July, I will be working from 8:30am - 12pm Monday through Thursday. Either way, I am a morning person. I love waking up and relaxing on the couch with the animals drinking some coffee or tea, and then spending the day on the couch or outside running around depending on their mood. I fully communicate with clients to ensure set boundaries and specific pet care needs. I can be hands on and active, or simply a presence in the room to ease anxiety.

About: I have been the go to dog sitter for family, friends and coworkers for the last 15 years. I was finally able to adopt my very own pup a little over a year ago and have been obsessed with him ever since. We have a small fenced in backyard and live extremely close to the bike path and park! Lots of walks and exploring. I am looking to make pet care my full time career. I am aiming to be available daily for all types of care. Walking, daycare as well as overnight sleepovers!
