About: I have always loved and lived with pets. Growing up we had multiple cats and a dog or two at any given time. In high school, I convinced my mom to foster a litter of kittens for our local humane society and we ended up caring for litters and kittens and puppies as well as seniors and sickly dogs for years to come. Right out of college I adopted my cat, and she has been my constant companion ever since. A decade later I rescued a very reactive dog and worked for 5 years on his reactivity. We made great improvements together! If you need someone to walk your reactive dog during the day, I’m your gal! I’d also love to care for your chill, non-reactive dog when you go out of town. I have a very active toddler, so I can only board dogs who are reliably safe around small children. I am available Monday-Thursday from 9-3 for drop ins and dog walks, with some flexible availability on the weekends too. Available for boarding as well this winter I have a large fenced portion of my back yard, as well as easy access to the bike path. We have some baby gates in our house, and more in storage, if that makes sense to make your pets comfortable.

About: We have a combination of 20 years of lovingly caring for dogs of different personalities. We have a friendly and playful whoodle who will be happy to have a buddy for playing in the yard and who also doesn’t mind giving other dogs space if they are less playful. We also have 3 kids who love all dogs and happy to give some extra love. We are able to have a flexible work schedule and work from home. About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: I grew up with dogs. First, an eighty-pound lab with a five-hundred-pound personality. Then a water dog who swam with me all summer in Lake Michigan. And bulldogs, so many bulldogs. Now my wife and I live in Easthampton with a fifteen-pound walking Beanie Baby we adopted from Dakin. I could not live without dogs, and I wouldn’t want to. I would treat your dog like my own. I work part-time, which means your dog isn't competing with a packed schedule. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, I'm available for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pup company. Six years of professional walking taught me a few things. 1) Standard leash only, four to six feet, never retractable. I bring my own, but am happy to use yours. 2) Never rush a dog through a sniff, because that fire hydrant at the end of the block is important information and your dog knows it. 3) Always clean up after them. 4) No AirPods, ever; I’d rather keep an ear out for oncoming traffic and any renegade squirrels. 5) Make walks fun. That means positive reinforcement, goofy voices, and treats for good sits and stays. Treats are on me.
About: I grew up with a fear of dogs that only ebbed when I was 13, after my family started fostering an older Australian cattle dog mix. She was smart, sweet, and scarily strong. Taking care of her taught me how to stay calm, deescalate her excitement when necessary, and also match her energy and enthusiasm. My fear is gone and now I love to make friends with new dogs! I work 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday— I’m available on weekends, as well as all mornings and evenings outside of my regular job schedule. I also get federal holidays off, so I am generally free on weekdays that fall into that category. I love spending time with animals and am so happy to dole out as much affection as they want! However, I'm also pretty good at reading their body language and realizing when they need space to do their own thing. Every animal has different needs and I pride myself on respecting that!
About: I've been house and pet sitting for ten years plus, besides that I've been an owner of many dogs and cats. There is nothing that makes me happier than the well-being of them. When you choose me for the care of your fur babies, they'll be taken care of to the maximum comfort and standard. I'm flexible in that I work remotely... So i huge amount of the time i will be around to cater to your pets. And also will be able to walk them often and keep them stimulated I'll make sure their safety and the environment they're in are safe and nurturing. If it's the owner's house I won't change a thing, if it's my house I'll have them have access to all that they would have at their home.

About: I have always loved and lived with pets. Growing up we had multiple cats and a dog or two at any given time. In high school, I convinced my mom to foster a litter of kittens for our local humane society and we ended up caring for litters and kittens and puppies as well as seniors and sickly dogs for years to come. Right out of college I adopted my cat, and she has been my constant companion ever since. A decade later I rescued a very reactive dog and worked for 5 years on his reactivity. We made great improvements together! If you need someone to walk your reactive dog during the day, I’m your gal! I’d also love to care for your chill, non-reactive dog when you go out of town. I have a very active toddler, so I can only board dogs who are reliably safe around small children. I am available Monday-Thursday from 9-3 for drop ins and dog walks, with some flexible availability on the weekends too. Available for boarding as well this winter I have a large fenced portion of my back yard, as well as easy access to the bike path. We have some baby gates in our house, and more in storage, if that makes sense to make your pets comfortable.
