About: I love cats, dogs, (guinea pigs, bunnies, and hedgehogs too—though I don't think that's an option here). I grew up with 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, and chickens. I have lived with cats and small dogs multiple times (housemates), and I have petsitted for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I have a lot of experience with cats, growing up with them, and living with many housemates with cats. I'd like my own some day but currently am in a place where I can't quite budget for one. So I'd genuinely love to come and play or cuddle with cats so I can get my feline fix! I speak Fluent Feline and most recently shared my home with my beloved feral cats Josie and Shadow for over 15 years until both passed away unexpectedly within 6 weeks of each other in late 2024. About: I have pet sat cats and dogs for the last 7 years, and am very attentive to individual needs. Having grown up with a cat myself and taking care of my sisters dog definitely set me up for successful pet care. I work part time currently so am often available up to 2 days during the week and often one weekend day to care for your pets! I often let the pets lead me at first when I enter their environment. I want them to feel safe and comfortable, and am very patient when dealing with more anxious or defensive pets.
About: It’s so hard to be away from your pup but having friends come in to visit and play makes the day feel not so long. I have had dogs my whole life. I just love their individual personalities. I typically work Monday through Friday and can pop in for an early morning visit and breakfast or stop by for a longer visit and dinner after work. My schedule is flexible so running over midway is possible if necessary. Weekends are generally wide open. I would like to work with you to meet your needs. About: My pets have ranged from lively German shepherds to disabled chihuahuas, wandering hounds, lively Shetland sheepdogs. and even feral cats and their litter of kittens who claimed my home as theirs until they were ready, healthy, and cleared to go to loving homes. I have 30 years experience with puppies through seniors - health needs through special needs. Training for puppies on leash walks through walking seniors in a stroller. I excel at bonding and building trust with pets and look to have a unique connection with each. I am currently working part time (remotely) and fully available to care for your pets, play with them, give them all the attention, care, and love they deserve! Morning, afternoon, evening, late night care is well within my timeframe. Caring for your dog: I will only walk on leash - no unleashed care unless within a fully fenced backyard. If you are training your dog, I will be able to continue with training. I am able to administer medication if needed. If your dog has any allergies or requires special food, please be sure to let me know. Happy to perform brushing or baths if needed. Pets, hugs, playtime, or lounging and relaxing - whatever their preference and makes them feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. As for caring for your cats, I request a full schedule of their feeding times, and recommendations as to what they enjoy playing with. If they like to be brushed, please note.
