“Upon arriving at Kathleen's Buddy uncharicteristicly behaved badly and I was horrified. Kathleen was gracious and professional as she cleaned up the mess and assured us it would be okay. And indeed, it was. Buddy had a fine time, as we saw in the photos Kathleen sent us. There were no further accidents and Buddy settled in to walks, naps and snuggles. About: I have had medium/large dogs for most of my life. I have taken care of a 35lb Australian Cattle dog as well as 2 pit bulls between 55-70lbs. I've also dog-sat a dog under 10lbs and walked dogs who were 140lbs. I've also worked in home with families who had cats ranging in size and demeanor. I work full time which is why I can only do sitting on weekends. I am looking to do more hobbies and this seems like something fun for me to add. I care for my dog Zelda who's partially blind so I have an awareness for disabled pups. That is also the reason I cannot board dogs in my home. I would likely spend a large portion of my day with the dog I'm taking care of, giving them some kind of walk during the day and making sure to lock up each time I leave the home. I would make sure they are fed on time and receive the same kind of loving care I give my dogs at home.

“Rick and Laura are the best, and our dog could feel it the moment she met them! Sophie enjoyed playing in the fenced-in yard, going for walks and even a hike. She is timid about some things, like seeing other dogs, but Rick and Laura took the time to help her through it, so she could continue her walks. Great communication, frequent updates, and the level of care is phenomenal. Their love and compassion for animals really shows. We're planning to have Sophie go for some day stays, since she had such a great time!”
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 12 yrs old there’s nothing I love more than taking care of dogs and making sure there happy and need everything they deserve, I’ve taken care from puppy to senior dogs. Til this day I make time for animals I have 4 days off out of the week and I would love to help out those who need genuine care for there dogs I always make sure my dogs are on a leash, making sure there’s no wild animals out in the yard before I take them out, if I’m walking your dog and I see another dog coming I put myself to the side holding the dog close enough in where the other dog don’t get near us.

I had such a wonderful experience with Karen! After our initial meet and greet, I was able to easily book our stay online. In between the meet and greet and my dog’s stay, some of his needs changed due to a recent separation anxiety diagnosis. Karen was incredibly understanding, accommodating, and reassuring. She was able to administer his medication and prepare his homemade food with ease, which gave me so much peace of mind. Her home and backyard are absolutely lovely and provide the perfect environment for a dog. My dog loved having the space to play, and he got along wonderfully with Karen’s dog. Karen communicated throughout his stay with messages and pictures, which I really appreciated. Pick-up and drop-off were also a breeze, and she handled everything so easily. My dog seemed to acclimate very quickly to her home, her family, and her dog, which meant so much to me. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter. She was able to give him individualized attention. I truly feel like she is a rare find and genuinely cares about the pets in her care. I’m so grateful we found her!
We are extremely happy with the care and attention Jodi gave our 11-year old terrier mix, Dasher. Jodi offered us a meet and greet before our vacation dates that put us at ease right away. Dasher checked out her home with his nose while reviewed his daily routines, medicines and likes/dislikes. Jodi asked great questions that showed us that she truly loves dogs and gets their individual personality quirks. Dasher took to her quickly and enjoyed ear rubs during our meeting. We received at least one message and photo of Dasher from Jodi each day he was in her care. He clearly looked happy and comfortable, and got lap time with Jodi as well as walks and supervised yard time. We're already booked to have Jodi care for Dasher again soon. Highly recommend!
