Heather V.

“I would recommend Heather if you need a pet sitter. She has walked my dog several times and he comes home happy and tired. She is attentive and thorough and I know he is in caring hands. Heather has also cared for my chickens in the past and she is knowledgeable and responsible and we can’t thank her enough!!!”

Sara H.

“Sara is kind and thoughtful and wonderful with my two dogs. She has been reliable, helpful and flexible with schedule changes, and does a great job with the dogs. I highly recommend!”

Mary Jean P.
“Mary Jean is one of the sweetest and most caring people I have ever met. She has taken care of my pets in the past as dog walker and cat feeder and also was my coworker for 2 years. At our previous job, she showed great care and took action against food waste and the environment and also became a union steward fought to get better wages and a more comfortable workplace. There is no one with a better moral compass! Mary Jean has 2 amazing dogs that she would do anything for and I’m sure would treat any animal as her own.”

Marie L.
“I highly recommend Marie as a pet sitter or dog walker. I’ve seen her in action and she was always loving and attentive and very responsible while taking care of our beloved family dog. You couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter or dog walker!”

Chorryi C.

“Chorryi is obviously a huge animal lover and very sweet with both cats and dogs. He brought over treats and toys and was sensitive to my animals anxieties. He is very easy to communicate with, which is super important to me. I highly recommend him!”

Amad E.
“Hi all, We had a trip to Alaska that we had planned a year in advance. Little did we know that our beloved 16 year-old beagle would pass away the day after Christmas. Our trip was scheduled at the end of July. We were not necessarily looking for another dog at that time. Our “Sadie” was really special. We had two young, female “sister” cats (Willow and Minnow) that were a loving handful, and that should have been enough until we had gotten back from our trip -BUT-a small girl (Lola) with a big personality entered our life unexpectedly. She was a rescue. Rescues come with some challenges. Enter Amad. He lived with our animal family for the two weeks while we were away. He was so great with our three babies. He is such a responsible animal lover! I would not hesitate to have him take care of our “family” again. Best, Joanne”

Jeweleah R.
About: I've grown up with many dogs in and out of my household. Currently, my sweet dog is 15 and I've taken care of her practically my whole life. My dog is a restless border collie but I've taken care of larger pitbulls and small cocker spaniels. My family owns cats and I absolutely adore all of them. They can always count on me to provide them with entertainment and love. I played with them as kittens and I take care of them now as older cats. I love animals and I am very happy to take care of any pet. I'm a new college student to the area but still eager to watch your pet! My current schedule consists of morning classes with most afternoons free. I'm willing to take on your pet any day of the week after a good conversation about what times can best suite both of our needs. I'm good at gauging what your pet might need. I've been through it all with my own dog. The restlessness of a puppy to the patience that a senior dog needs. I'm no stranger to giving pets their medications. Most importantly, I will always give the love that your pet deserves.

Grace R.
“Grace has loved animals her entire life! Growing up on a farm, Grace has taken care of all the animals before school and after school, rain or shine, summer heat or cold winter months...every day. She enjoys the farm life and enjoys every single pet she has owned. Those pets include: horses, mini donkey, goats, large dogs, cats/kittens, rabbits, fish, squirrel, wildlife that hangs around the house and a lemur. Grace has a big heart and she is a delight to be around and work with. Grace also volunteers in the community, is on the National Honor Society, she is active in dance and is a 2020 SENIOR!”

Aliya C.
“I’ve known Aliya forever now, and she absolutely loves animals. She’s been pet sitting on her own for awhile now, but would love to join the River Company. I’ve watched her get deep into studying the different kinds of dogs, and what their care requirements are. She’s also watched my dogs for me a couple times, and was interacting with them constantly, making sure they were kept busy and didn’t have the chance to grow bored.”

Alexio S.

“Alex came on time, actually had a plan to be sure he wouldn’t be late (our place can be alittle hard to find). I am impressed with his gentle attention with our dogs, AND he used some spot on positive clicker techniques with our gigantic puppy. H highly recommend Alex as a dig walker.”

Erin B.

“Erin did a great job walking Max for us when we had to go away on short notice.”

Annika D.

“We have recently hired Annika to walk our 8 month old boxer. She is very interactive with our boy and truly spends some quality time while with him. Koda definitely looks forward to her visits and we would definitely recommend Annika without any hesitation!”

Katie G.

“Katie was great! Took our dogs and wore them out on a long walk. They slept the rest of the day afterward. Happy to recommend her as a responsive, responsible caregiver for your furry friends!”

Leah B.

“We were so happy with the services provided by Leah. She tuned into Benji immediately and he remained calm from first meeting and all subsequent times together. Firm and loving with a dose of being in charge did the trick for Benji. Leah is skilled with an older dog. Benji trusted Leah and her comments and photos reassured us that he was in capable hands while we were away. We would book with Leah in any up coming trips.”

Linnea S.

“Linnea is super kind, conscientious, and capable. Our dogs are smitten and we are so grateful.”

Nadia K.

“Look no further. Excellent communication and lovely person. Can’t recommend enough!”
