About: Your furry and leafy friends are in great hands! I specialize in meticulous care for senior pets and love meeting furry friends of all ages. With hands-on experience tending to an elderly dog as well as my own granny cat, I understand the patience and attention to detail required for their well-being. I’d be thrilled to care for your dog or cat! Bonus: As a plant parent of over 50 indoor plants (it’s a problem), I know how hard it can be to find care for your chlorophyll companions 🌵 if you need your green companions cared for alongside your pets, I’ve got you covered! I work a remote job with flex time based in another time zone, so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care. Having used Rover for my own cat’s care, I know it can be daunting to have a stranger come into your home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities, and I ensure a secure, loving environment while respecting your home. Expect thorough updates and thorough documentation!

I love to be active with animals, but also prioritize their needs wether it is food or a good nap!

About: I grew up with a fear of dogs that only ebbed when I was 13, after my family started fostering an older Australian cattle dog mix. She was smart, sweet, and scarily strong. Taking care of her taught me how to stay calm, deescalate her excitement when necessary, and also match her energy and enthusiasm. My fear is gone and now I love to make friends with new dogs! I work part-time, so I've got lots of free time to spend with your pets! I'm generally available Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings, and all day on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I love spending time with animals and am so happy to dole out as much affection as they want! However, I'm also pretty good at reading their body language and realizing when they need space to do their own thing. Every animal has different needs and I pride myself on respecting that!

“Sara is kind and thoughtful and wonderful with my two dogs. She has been reliable, helpful and flexible with schedule changes, and does a great job with the dogs. I highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I am new to pet sitting. But I have had my soul dog for 12 years and am very well versed in dog body language and respect with any happy or reactive dog. Happy to take your family animal out for walks, just let them out, feed them, or simply snuggle and play for 30 minutes. Hi! I’ve come to a new career which gives me more flexibility. I’d love to fill my time hanging out and exercising with your animals. I believe a persons home is their safe space. I’m only here to give your animal some walks and snuggles and will respect your space.

“Tanya was wonderful with my dog Skylar. It gave me peace of mind to know she was in such good hands while I’m tied up at work. She walks her, plays with her and sends me a report after. I’m super grateful we found her.”

“Alex came on time, actually had a plan to be sure he wouldn’t be late (our place can be alittle hard to find). I am impressed with his gentle attention with our dogs, AND he used some spot on positive clicker techniques with our gigantic puppy. H highly recommend Alex as a dig walker.”

About: I’m a lifetime animal lover with a robust experience in pet care. I have experience in dog walking, pet sitting, bathing, and providing medication to dogs and cats. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including rodents, reptiles, and birds. I work full time but am available in the mornings and evenings for walks and drop-ins, and all day on the weekends. If you are local to Northampton, I am fully available to in-home pet care as well. About: I grew up taking care of my family dog. Pebbles has a quirky personality - she keeps to herself and her favorite place to nap is in my dad’s suitcase. I feed her, walk with her, and cuddle with her on the couch for as long as she’ll let me. I also pride myself in being someone my friends can turn to when they need someone to look after their animals. I have cared for cats and dogs from senior chihuahuas to newfoundland puppies. I also have experience in animal care at the New England Aquarium. Though those friends aren’t quite as furry, it gave me experience monitoring health, following feeding and enrichment routines, and getting to know new animals. I’m currently in my last semester at UMass Amherst! My classes are midday Monday through Thursday, leaving my mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends free to care for your pets! It’s important to me to build a personal relationship with your pet. By doing my best to get to know them, I can ensure they are as comfortable as possible while I care for them!
