About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. Working with rescue dogs taught me how to read body language, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care. I’ve also been a cat owner since I was eight years old and have had four cats throughout my life. My senior cat became disabled later in life, so I have experience with medication, grooming, litter box care, and adapting routines for pets with special needs. That experience gave me a special place in my heart for senior animals and pets who need a little extra patience. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! As a full-time Animal Science student, I schedule pet care around my classes and keep my availability updated on Rover. I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, and once I accept a booking your pet becomes a priority. I offer reliable drop-in visits and dog walking, and I’m happy to spend extra time with your pets when needed to make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I provide care in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, walks, and extended drop-ins so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I always treat my clients’ homes with respect, make safety my top priority, and provide regular photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have loved dogs since I can remember—I used to read dog encyclopedias as a kid! My own dog and sidekick, Miguel, is a cute rescue with a pronounced underbite. He lives with my family far away, so I am excited to provide services (walking, dog sitting) for pets nearby! Over the summer, I am working remotely and thus have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am never away from home for more than two hours at a time. All dogs who have stayed at my apartment have been treated as my own; no couch or bed is off limits! 3+ walks a day, and a dog park nearby!

About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience. I’m very work-oriented, reliable, and people have told me I’m great with customer service. Neighbors, friends, and family often count on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I truly love every moment of it. As a full-time student, I’ve built a schedule that still gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available Mondays after 5 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 12 PM, and Wednesdays after 4 PM. On weekends, my availability is more flexible, which means I can give pets the attention and exercise they need without feeling rushed. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they always feel safe and cared for. I’ve had experience with high-energy dogs as well as older pets who need more patience and special care. About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. About: I grew up having dogs and cats and taking care of them. Now that I don’t have any pets of my own, I’d love to care for someone else’s! I have dog sat for all kinds of dogs and always enjoyed the time spent with them. I currently work as a full time teacher, so I have time for pet care in the evenings most days of the week and even weekends. I care for pets by trying to understand what they need and giving them lots of love and attention. I am also fit enough to lift a dog if needed.

About: I have cared and worked with cats and dogs since a young age. I will take my time to get to know your animals and they will trust and look forward to seeing me! I work as an educator, so my summer is open and super flexible. In July, I will be working from 8:30am - 12pm Monday through Thursday. Either way, I am a morning person. I love waking up and relaxing on the couch with the animals drinking some coffee or tea, and then spending the day on the couch or outside running around depending on their mood. I fully communicate with clients to ensure set boundaries and specific pet care needs. I can be hands on and active, or simply a presence in the room to ease anxiety.
