About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I work as an educator, so my summer is open and super flexible. In July, I will be working from 8:30am - 12pm Monday through Thursday. Either way, I am a morning person. I love waking up and relaxing on the couch with the animals drinking some coffee or tea, and then spending the day on the couch or outside running around depending on their mood. About: I was blessed with a feline friend at the age of 2. Although I do not remember all of our times together, she has been by my side through all of life's up's and down's. We have even experienced the responsibility of sharing our home with 2 more companions: a Maltese and a Chihuahua! It is quite a random pool of different beings! Nevertheless, we all seem to get along. I do all I can to ensure their well being is top notch. You really grow a love for your companion(s) and it's hard to not care for them. I am full time and have no restrictions to my schedule. I am available as early as 6:00am and can accommodate appointments during sundown. I am easy to communicate with and straightforward with negotiations. It is a dogs fantasy: a large neighborhood with quiet streets to explore, 2 nearby parks to frolic and play, with a dog park frequently visited by other furry friends and their owners.

Having grown up with a cat myself and taking care of my sisters dog definitely set me up for successful pet care.
