About: I have always had at least 2+ dogs in my house since I was born. I currently have 2 of my own who make life so much better! I know it’s not always easy to work and have pets but I hope I can help some people no matter if it’s letting them out or walking them. I am currently a nurse but looking to also do house sitting, dog walking, drop ins, whatever is needed! I am available to help anytime after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Find it generally works best to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where I keep their regular routine going to the best of my ability.
About: I grew up with a fear of dogs that only ebbed when I was 13, after my family started fostering an older Australian cattle dog mix. She was smart, sweet, and scarily strong. Taking care of her taught me how to stay calm, deescalate her excitement when necessary, and also match her energy and enthusiasm. My fear is gone and now I love to make friends with new dogs! I work 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday— I’m available on weekends, as well as all mornings and evenings outside of my regular job schedule. I also get federal holidays off, so I am generally free on weekdays that fall into that category. I love spending time with animals and am so happy to dole out as much affection as they want! However, I'm also pretty good at reading their body language and realizing when they need space to do their own thing. Every animal has different needs and I pride myself on respecting that!

About: I have always had at least 2+ dogs in my house since I was born. I currently have 2 of my own who make life so much better! I know it’s not always easy to work and have pets but I hope I can help some people no matter if it’s letting them out or walking them. I am currently a nurse but looking to also do house sitting, dog walking, drop ins, whatever is needed! I am available to help anytime after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am willing to go late as well! Some days I can also go before 7am I have two pets in my home one is a lab mix and one is a heeler mix. Both love all animals and people. They’re both three years old.
