“Kelli (& Jeff) did an amazing job watching my cat, Halsey. He is a shy boy, so I was so pleased to get updates from Kelli showing them bonding. He took to her pretty fast and knowing that he was well made my travels so much more relaxing. Kelli also kept my plants alive and even washed the sheets so I would have a clean bed when I returned. It was such a sweet, and appreciated act. I would definitely recommend Kelli & Jeff E. and use them again. I was extremely pleased with their service, and most importantly, I think my cat was too.”

“James is such an amazing cat sitter and cat whisperer! He enjoys hanging with each cat, brushing them, petting them and playing with them. He is reliable and consistent. It was a comfort being away, knowing our kitties were in such good hands.”

“Tanya is AMAZING. My cat is not easy to deal with sometimes and she showed nothing but patience and kindness with him. Her updates were detailed and she was very responsive and communicative. I was really nervous leaving my cat for 2 weeks but after a few days of Tanya’s check ins my mind was set considerably at ease. Would absolutely hire again. Thank you so much, Tanya!!”

About: Having grown up with 3 dogs and 3 cats, as well as looked after many family and friends pets since I was around 12 as well as growing up with a special needs cat who required oral medication, I am capable of and willing to handle anything from walking to feeding and giving medications for dogs and cats alike, your family pet(s) will be in great care! I currently work part time Monday through Thursday until 3:30-4. I am free to take care of your pets after then and am always available all day Fridays through Sundays. I can easily and safely crate your dog if needed and put away cats/dogs in a specific room as well. When walking, I always use a leash and clean up after your dog as well.

“Definitely want to book Anna again! My little orange old lady cat was very well taken care of. Traveling when you have a senior animal is stressful, but Anna was thorough and Marmalade obviously liked her!”

“Bree is a super trustworthy and caring sitter! She looked after my two kittens a few days after one was spayed and she was so great about checking in with me since I was anxious about her recovery. You can tell Bree really genuinely loves all animals and is an excellent caretaker. I’ll absolutely have her back.”

“Emily came through for me and Beans at the last minute! She was great about sending pictures and videos while I was away, and I came home to a happy and well taken care of kitty!”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and been routinely called upon to take care of neighbor dogs. I have most experience with Australian shepherds and doodles. Very comfortable bringing dogs to the woods and excited to form unique relationships with new dogs! I am available when I am available. I would never take on a dog client unless I am ready to devote myself as needed to their care and attention. When caring for dogs in a client's home I bring leave-no-trace ethics, leaving things always as I found them. I am a guest on this earth.

About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’m new to Rover, but not to pet care. I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friends, and coworkers pets for over 15 years. This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space clean, laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in the mail, take out the trash. I want your home to be a safe haven when you get back, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I make sure your pet is happy, clean, litter scooped, fed, walked, and they will get lots of love and playtime. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are happy and cared for in your absence. I have references on my website which I’m happy to share upon request. I provide a free meet and greet before sitting dates; I want to meet you and your pet, and ensure they are comfortable with me ahead of my visit. I love check-ins for longer stays and will send photos if desired. My house sitting overnight services are in high-demand so please book ahead for best results. Let me know how I can help! I look forward to meeting you ☺️🐶🐾 My main focus is on building dog walking and pet care services, so I’m available for all your pet care needs! I am often in Amherst or Greenfield and don’t mind traveling. My house sitting is very in demand so please book early. I have more flexibility for daytime walks. Thank you! I will go over your regular routines with you about your furry family member, and chat about what keeping your pet safe looks like. I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye and make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street and keep alert for traffic or any other hazards. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary. I have a good eye for ticks and am always checking and finding them, but your dog should be treated for this too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

About: I've been cat-sitting for almost 20 years for friends and family. I also have experience volunteering at cat shelters in MA (e.g., Ellen Gifford cat shelter in Brighton, MA) where I cared for a range of cats from kittens to elderly cats with special needs. I am a proud cat dad of a bonded pair of 5-year old kitties. I love animals and am looking for more cat-sitting opportunities here in the pioneer valley. I recently moved to Northampton and am a professor at Smith College! I currently work at Smith College as a professor. I am available for drop-in visits in your home to care for your cat both in the morning and evening. I think it’s paramount to follow routine for a cat in their own home, especially if they might have even a little separation anxiety. I am excellent at following instructions and am happy to do what I can to make your cat happy and comfortable!

“Alexis was so nice and sweet! She took great care of our cat Miley and sent us daily videos and pictures and updates. So glad to have found someone like her!”

“Anne was a great sitter for our cats. She provided detailed updates after each visit and sent photos each time. She is very responsible and reliable. We had peace of mind knowing that Anne was checking on our cats while we were away. Highly recommend!”

About: I had my first cat at age 3 and have had cats and dogs for most of my life since then. I adore animals and truly have a special bond with them. Even very shy cats emerge to come out and greet me. I consider it a privilege to care for animals. In my care your pet will be loved, talked to, pet, and know they are safe. I enjoy long walks with dogs, ( or short, according to their needs) cuddling with cats, and will be very happy to learn and follow your protocols for their care. I am experienced caring for senior dogs, cats and kittens, puppies, “hiders”….. and in short order these pets feel very at ease with me. I’ve house and pet sat in the US and abroad. I have many years of experience and excellent references. I am presently available to provide excellent care to your pets any day or the week and any hour of the day. I’m presently booking pet care and pet sitting in the SF Bay Area. I am available for pet and housesitting in your home throughout CA. I will care for your beloved pets as though they were my own, and will absolutely follow your instructions for their care and feeding.

About: I have grown up with dogs for my whole life and love nothing more than going for walks and hikes! In fact, I live across the street from the DAR State Forest, so if your pooch spends an overnight in my home we'll have plenty of new sights and smells to explore! I can handle multiple dogs at a time and am comfortable with other animals as well (horses and farm animals included!). I will work with you to make sure that your pet's feeding, exercise, and care needs are met and I will make sure your pet gets the exercise and care that they need. I currently work full-time during the day, but work a hybrid schedule so I can be home some days. I believe that communication is key, so I will be sure to stay in touch with you throughout the stay and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have before, during, and after our booking. You can be assured that if I watch your pets in your home, you will return to your house in the same condition it was left in (or better!). Whatever your wish, just let me know and I'll be sure to go above and beyond your expectations for the care of your pet! I only accept dogs from the same family for boarding and will not book multiple stays that overlap. If you're interested in horse or farm animal care, please reach out for more information and relevant experience. I usually work from home 2 days/ week and have some flexibility in my schedule to accommodate minor changes (such as switching my in-office days or working half days in the office and half at home). I have a decently large yard that is not fenced in and primarily surrounded by forest. My dog usually goes off leash in the yard and on hikes when there aren't other people or dogs around. I live across the street from miles of quiet hiking trails and lakes, and would gladly take your pet for on-leash or off-leash walks.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always considered myself a dog person, though living with a roommate's cat for nearly two years showed me that I can get along with all sorts of fur babies! I adopted my own dog when I was living overseas and loved learning, growing, and spending time with Rambo. I had the joy of living with and caring for my medically-needy and reactive senior pup Rocko for 6 years until he passed away in 2024. I’m a registered nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, and I’ve received a great deal of behavioral training to support Rocko with his reactivity. I am very patient, energetic, and love spending time with the dogs and getting to know and care for them. I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war as well as cuddling and going for walks. I am a self-employed handyperson which gives me the flexibility to take jobs I enjoy while being able to help owners provide quality care for their fur babies while they're away. I am accustomed to letting my dog out around 7am every morning, walking him in the afternoons, letting him out before bedtime, and giving him as much snuggles and attention as he wants during the day. Being self-employed gives me the flexibility I need to make sure my baby gets the care he needs and deserves. Your fur babies will get the same love and attention that they need! In my own home, I’ve had time to figure out what works for my pets and partner/roommate - and we generally stick with what works! In a client’s home, it’s the same idea - y’all are the experts, so I stick to what you know and want me to do! Keeping tidy, putting food away, and making sure there’s nothing hazardous left out are the keys to a safe and happy home environment.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for a few years, including my own cats, my senior dog, and friends’ pets. I’m experienced with medication administration. I have two 3 year old cats that I adore. I’m working part time, so I’m happy to check in during the day for a short visit or spend the night at yours if needed! I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. If you have another kind of pet, I’m happy to learn more about them too! I’m very attentive and keep on schedule for feeding and walks. I’m very good at noticing changes in behavior and keeping pets out of trouble.

Charlotte G.
“I have known Charlotte since she was quite small and she has always been good with animals. She has been surrounded by big dogs from the time she was born and has shown that she can take responsibility for their car with ease. I have rarely known a young person (though she is an adult now) who is a conscientious as Charlotte. I would not hesitate to leave my emotionally complex dog, my cats or my chickens in her care. Your pets will be in good care with Charlotte so that you can enjoy some time away.”

Jeremy B.
“My dogs are one of the most important parts of my life. I would only entrust them with someone who would provide the same love and care that I would; Jeremy is that person. When they hear Jeremy's name, they run to the window, waiting for him to arrive. He treats them like family. He plays with them, walks them, talks to them, lays on the ground with them and even brushes their teeth . . . . . he connects with them. I don't have to worry about them when they're with Jeremy.”

Jaclyn P.
“I have been using Jaclyn as a petsitter for over a year now. She is sweet, attentive and treats my fur babies as hers. I have a mix of dogs and cats and even dart frogs. Dart frogs need to eat live fruit flies and she had no problems giving them their food while I was a way for a week. My senior dog is on medications and while on one vacation she even drove to the vet 1/2 hour away to pick up more medications for him. I have a new puppy and she has been so helpful. I’m so happy I finally found a good sitter!”

Preston T.
“Preston is the cat sitter everyone dreams of. He treats kitties like royalty. When he arrives he always greets my kitty with love and pets. She knows she gets her massages when he visits! Preston is also very conscientious and focused on all the details needed for your cats. He will wash bowls, refresh food, give treats, clean litter-boxes, and he will gladly help with any unique specific requirements for your kitty. I highly recommend Preston as your next cat sitter. Your cat will not be disappointed.”

Alexis K.

“Alexis was so nice and sweet! She took great care of our cat Miley and sent us daily videos and pictures and updates. So glad to have found someone like her!”

Sheila C.
“Sheila is a loving, committed pet owner who will be wonderful for your precious pets. She has experience with older pets, like her dear Shiba Inu Kobe. Sheila has watched our energetic little and big dogs, and is a conscientious, responsible housesitter as well. Highly recommended!”

Jenna O.

“Jenna has lovingly taken care of my cat many times when I have been out of town. He is a very social kitty so really craves human contact and connection. Jenna spent a lot of quality time with him, talking sweetly to him, petting and brushing him, and always giving him his breakfast and dinner on time. My cat loves Jenna still! When I would come home, he would be happy and healthy, like I never left. I trust Jenna to watch my precious little friend anytime. She has always done a great job!”

Olivia L.
“Olivia personally has 2 snuggly cats who she loves very much so she knows what she’s doing! She’s also been a cat-sitter for us multiple times while we’ve been away and our cat is a big fan. She’s trustworthy, responsible, and has good judgement. I would trust her to know whether my cat needed extra attention (medical or otherwise) while I’m gone and let me know. She’s the best!”
