About: Having grown up with 3 dogs and 3 cats, as well as looked after many family and friends pets since I was around 12 as well as growing up with a special needs cat who required oral medication, I am capable of and willing to handle anything from walking to feeding and giving medications for dogs and cats alike, your family pet(s) will be in great care! I currently work part time Monday through Thursday until 3:30-4. I am free to take care of your pets after then and am always available all day Fridays through Sundays. I can easily and safely crate your dog if needed and put away cats/dogs in a specific room as well. When walking, I always use a leash and clean up after your dog as well.

I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye and make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street and keep alert for traffic or any other hazards. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary. I have a good eye for ticks and am always checking and finding them, but your dog should be treated for this too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

About: I've been cat-sitting for almost 20 years for friends and family. I also have experience volunteering at cat shelters in MA (e.g., Ellen Gifford cat shelter in Brighton, MA) where I cared for a range of cats from kittens to elderly cats with special needs. In fact, I live across the street from the DAR State Forest, so if your pooch spends an overnight in my home we'll have plenty of new sights and smells to explore! I will work with you to make sure that your pet's feeding, exercise, and care needs are met and I will make sure your pet gets the exercise and care that they need. I currently work full-time during the day, but work a hybrid schedule so I can be home some days. I believe that communication is key, so I will be sure to stay in touch with you throughout the stay and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have before, during, and after our booking. You can be assured that if I watch your pets in your home, you will return to your house in the same condition it was left in (or better!). I only accept dogs from the same family for boarding and will not book multiple stays that overlap. I usually work from home 2 days/ week and have some flexibility in my schedule to accommodate minor changes (such as switching my in-office days or working half days in the office and half at home). I have a decently large yard that is not fenced in and primarily surrounded by forest. My dog usually goes off leash in the yard and on hikes when there aren't other people or dogs around. I live across the street from miles of quiet hiking trails and lakes, and would gladly take your pet for on-leash or off-leash walks.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always considered myself a dog person, though living with a roommate's cat for nearly two years showed me that I can get along with all sorts of fur babies! I adopted my own dog when I was living overseas and loved learning, growing, and spending time with Rambo. I had the joy of living with and caring for my medically-needy and reactive senior pup Rocko for 6 years until he passed away in 2024. I’m a registered nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, and I’ve received a great deal of behavioral training to support Rocko with his reactivity. I am very patient, energetic, and love spending time with the dogs and getting to know and care for them. I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war as well as cuddling and going for walks. I am a self-employed handyperson which gives me the flexibility to take jobs I enjoy while being able to help owners provide quality care for their fur babies while they're away. I am accustomed to letting my dog out around 7am every morning, walking him in the afternoons, letting him out before bedtime, and giving him as much snuggles and attention as he wants during the day. Being self-employed gives me the flexibility I need to make sure my baby gets the care he needs and deserves. Your fur babies will get the same love and attention that they need! In my own home, I’ve had time to figure out what works for my pets and partner/roommate - and we generally stick with what works! In a client’s home, it’s the same idea - y’all are the experts, so I stick to what you know and want me to do! Keeping tidy, putting food away, and making sure there’s nothing hazardous left out are the keys to a safe and happy home environment.
