About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure animals get the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. 🐾 Caring for animals is truly a passion of mine, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, their safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I believe every walk, play session, or visit should be a highlight of their day, and I make sure to give them plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while their owners are away.

“Noah is a caring soul who my sensitive cat liked right away -- cats can tell! He is super reliable, spent time interacting with my cat, and I've already booked him for when I'm out of town again. I'm very glad to have found such a good, local pet-sitter.”

“Sierra is an amazing pet sitter. Excellent at communication, keeps everything very clean, played with our cats, sent nice pictures and kept them well fed. Extremely reliable and can't recommend enough!”

“Heather watched my cats and chickens while I was gone for two weeks. Was very flexible with scheduling and with the weather as there were a few snow storms but she was still able to check on the cats. Was very good with the cats in feeding, medication and doing the litter box. Would recommend and book again.”

About: I am responsive and communicative, which helps alleviate any unnecessary anxieties while I am taking care of your dog. I have experience working with dogs of all ages and of all different sizes. I work hard to address any particular needs that your dog or cat may have. While I work full-time, I have the flexibility of working from home — which means I can easily step away throughout the day to tend to your pet's needs. I'm available for check-ins and care during the early morning, midday, and evening, and if your pet thrives on consistent company, I'm happy to work out of your home so they're never left alone for long. I pride myself on following instructions carefully and will always keep you in the loop if any questions or concerns arise during our time together. Above all, your pet's comfort is my priority — before anything else, I take the time to understand their unique needs, personality, and preferences so I can provide the best care possible. Every pet is different, and I'm happy to adapt my approach accordingly. Got an energetic pup who lives for long walks and belly rubs? I'm all in. Have a shy or sensitive pet who needs a calm, quiet environment to feel safe? I'll match their energy and give them the gentle, patient care they need to feel at ease.
“Shawna did a wonderful job caring for our 17 year old, blind and ailing old cat as well as caring for our farm. We were able to relax and not worry. We received pictures and updates from each visit, which was a huge comfort. We recommend highly and without reservation!”

“Helped me out at the last minute when I had to fly out for a family emergency. Took such great care with my cats, remembered small details about what they like. Thoroughly cleaned their bowls and wet food cans, meticulous attention to detail. Communicated well, sent great photos. Highly recommend.”
“Great experience with Emily. She's conscientious, reliable, sends terrific and fun updates on each visit, and is willing to take on extra tasks like taking our cat to the vet when we discovered he had worms right before leaving town. She and our cat Zeke really hit it off, as I'm sure she would with any animal. Would definitely book her again.”

About: Have experience with puppy’s, adult dogs, kittens, and adult cats. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs of my own that I enjoy spending my free time with. This will be something I do on the side of my main job. I am available throughout the day 7 days a week for quick visits and check ins or walks. I’m also available on the weekend full time for sitting. Am able to care for dogs and cats with instructions. I love to be outside whether that be playing in the yard or going for a walk.

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”
“Ace is an incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and caring sitter. We booked her to care for our two older cats and she was so communicative and kind to the little guys. One of our cats needs a subcutaneous injection daily, and she did a wonderful job delivering it - even when he was being difficult. I couldn’t recommend Ace enough, and am definitely going to book her again in the future.”

About: I love dogs and cats! I’ve worked for an independent dog care business where I’ve dog walked, worked in the doggy daycare, drove the dog pick up and drop off van and pet sat in the client’s home. I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life! I’ve cared for 3 lbs Chihuahuas to 120+ lbs Great Pyrenees. I’ve rescued an unsocialized homeless adult cat who was such a cherished companion who I recently lost to cancer. I currently relocated my business to this area. So while my business slow and steady builds, I have plenty of time to take care of your furry babies! My weekdays and weekends are available. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and your pet will have the whole place! Care will be 1 on 1. I live in a picturesque downtown area so your pup will enjoy sidewalk walks and if it wants, there will be plenty of attention!
