About: I love cats, dogs, (guinea pigs, bunnies, and hedgehogs too—though I don't think that's an option here). I grew up with 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, and chickens. I have lived with cats and small dogs multiple times (housemates), and I have petsitted for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I have a lot of experience with cats, growing up with them, and living with many housemates with cats. I'd like my own some day but currently am in a place where I can't quite budget for one. So I'd genuinely love to come and play or cuddle with cats so I can get my feline fix! I've been told I have a calm energy when meeting animals, and the cats I currently know, love to come and sit right on me with their tiny needly paws. They put rugs down on their hard wood floors so that he would have an easier time walking about and they were really careful that he didn't reinjure his bad knee. About: I have 30 years experience with puppies through seniors - healthy through special needs. Training for puppies on leash walks through walking seniors in a stroller. My dogs have ranged from disabled chihuahuas, big German shepherds, and lively beagle mixes. I excel at bonding and building trust with pets and look to have a unique connection with each one. For doggy daycare and boarding: Right now, I dont own any dogs. Your dogs would be the only dogs in my home. When there are dogs in my home, my cats are safely locked away in the basement with their food, toys, water, and playhouses. There will be no interaction. I am currently working part time (remotely) and fully available to care for your pets, play with them, give them all the attention, care, and love they deserve! Morning, afternoon, evening, late night care is well within my timeframe. Caring for your dog: I will only walk on leash - no unleashed care unless within a fully fenced backyard. If you are training your dog, I will be able to continue with training. I am able to administer medication if needed. If your dog has any allergies or requires special food, please be sure to let me know. Happy to perform brushing or baths if needed. Pets, hugs, playtime, or lounging and relaxing - whatever their preference and makes them feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. As for caring for your cats, I request a full schedule of their feeding times, and recommendations as to what they enjoy playing with. If they like to be brushed, please note. If they are skittish or love attention from people, please let me know so I can provide them with a level of care that will allow them to feel safe.
