About: I can't remember a time that I didn't have at least one dog. I often had several at a time and they all lived a long and happy life with tons of love and affection! I will care for your dog(s) as if they were my own and provide the affectionate, loving care they deserve. I have raised 3 great kids who are now all grown so I would love the opportunity to share my life with as many pets as possible. I have a flexible schedule. I believe in keeping your dog in a fenced-in area (supervised) or on a leash at all times while outside. I also believe in crate training puppies for potty training and safety only.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs/animals mostly all my life ,im 21 and owned a dog half my life also but sadly i had to put him down so now i would love to dog sit to still show my love , interest and care into dogs without owning my own again yet i’m home all day unless i make plans and adding pet care into my day would allow me to be more active and it just gives me something do to during the day i have a fended in yard and a good sized back yard for pets to play and roam freely , no other pets in the house hold at the moment,

I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.
About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

I work as an educator, so my summer is open and super flexible. In July, I will be working from 8:30am - 12pm Monday through Thursday. Either way, I am a morning person. They took him for walks and even sent us photos. It was clear that Guinness and their dog, Zeus, got along so well and had a great time playing together. Now that he's home, Guinness seems sad and misses Zeus. We will definitely use Heather and Norman's services again. Highly recommended!”
