About: I have managed the kennel of a local boarding/daycare/grooming facility and have worked for a local training and behavior consulting facility. I have been in the pet care industry for over six years. I am also trained as a groomer and have extensive knowledge and experience in relationship-based training. I am also first aid and CPR certified for dogs and cats. I am more than happy to provide references upon request. I know how important it is to trust your pet care professionals to learn your pup’s personality, respect their boundaries, and fulfill your wishes so that they get the same quality of care you would give them yourself. I am committed to your pet's safety, health, and enjoyment. I’m currently working part-time as a preschool teacher and also run my own Etsy shop, where I sell handmade dog gear. As such, I currently have plenty of availability for dog care. Your dog’s physical and emotional safety is my priority. I am a believer that there is no such thing as over-communication and am very attentive to detail. I also firmly believe in respecting boundaries and recognize the importance of following clients’ directions to a T.

About: I have cared and worked with cats and dogs since a young age. I will take my time to get to know your animals and they will trust and look forward to seeing me! I work as an educator, so my summer is open and super flexible. In July, I will be working from 8:30am - 12pm Monday through Thursday. Either way, I am a morning person. I love waking up and relaxing on the couch with the animals drinking some coffee or tea, and then spending the day on the couch or outside running around depending on their mood. I fully communicate with clients to ensure set boundaries and specific pet care needs. I can be hands on and active, or simply a presence in the room to ease anxiety.

About: Animals have been a part of my life starting from a very young age. As a small child my family fostered dogs and I was taught basic animal husbandry skills from an early age. Growing up we always also had 3 dogs of our own that I was dedicated to caring for. As I grew older my love for animals of all shapes and sizes also grew, guiding me to my career in animal science and veterinary medicine. I have been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years now. I am currently working on obtaining my Veterinary Technician license (CVT). Through my hands-on experience at my job, I have gained many skills. I am proficient and confident in administration of medications, administration of subcutaneous injections, ear cleanings, pedicures, anal gland expressions and more. I also have experience caring for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Lastly, I have my own flock of chickens and would be happy to care for yours if needed as well! I’m currently working part-time, so I have time in my schedule to play and care for your beloved pets as well. My schedule varies weekly so I would be happy to discuss your needs to see if we would be a good fit for each other! Unfortunately at this time I cannot house any clients pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for your pet in the safety and comfort of your home while you are away. I have various petsitting and housesitting references if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my number one priority.

About: I’ve had pets since childhood and know how to take care of them well, from dogs to guinea pigs I have had to care for multiple different types of animals and will always care for them as my own. I have pet sat both during the day and overnight for friends, family, and people outside of my everyday life, each time caring for the animal with the utmost care. I am currently working part time. I am very reliable and will make sure your pets get the opportunity to be active as much as possible and as much as they need. I will make sure to listen and pay close attention to what rules and behaviors follow to keep the pet safe in the home, and I will make sure not to let the animals out of my sight when letting them outside if needed.

About: Have experience with puppy’s, adult dogs, kittens, and adult cats. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs of my own that I enjoy spending my free time with. This will be something I do on the side of my main job. I am available throughout the day 7 days a week for quick visits and check ins or walks. I’m also available on the weekend full time for sitting. Am able to care for dogs and cats with instructions. I love to be outside whether that be playing in the yard or going for a walk.

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. About: I've had a a dog in my life on and off since I was born. I've had 4 dalmations while living with my family. One at a time and then a golden retriever and then adopted a pit/boxer mix a few years ago and then my mom 'stole' him. :-) I'm a huge fun of dogs and adore large breeds like pits, rotties, boxers, etc...and I'll still love to be with your little one if you have that too. I've sat for my friends female pittie a couple times and it's gone very very well. Apparently she doesn't like men too well however we got along terrifically. I miss playing and hanging out with my dog, "bueller" who my mom now gets to spend time with so that's why I'm here on this site. To get my 'doggie fix'. ;-) I feel I'm very aware of my surroundings while with my dog and also aware of the body language of the dog I'm with as they usually give a heads up if they are worried, anxious, fearful, etc... before something might happen. I have a flexible schedule and love to spend time with your furry loved ones. I'm cool with a super energetic pet or one that is more 'chill' I am presently unable to host/board your pets in my home, however I'm able to take care of them in your home or apartment if requested.

About: I grew up with dogs. First, an eighty-pound lab with a five-hundred-pound personality. Then a water dog who swam with me all summer in Lake Michigan. And bulldogs, so many bulldogs. Now my wife and I live in Easthampton with a fifteen-pound walking Beanie Baby we adopted from Dakin. I could not live without dogs, and I wouldn’t want to. I would treat your dog like my own. I work part-time, which means your dog isn't competing with a packed schedule. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, I'm available for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pup company. Six years of professional walking taught me a few things. 1) Standard leash only, four to six feet, never retractable. I bring my own, but am happy to use yours. 2) Never rush a dog through a sniff, because that fire hydrant at the end of the block is important information and your dog knows it. 3) Always clean up after them. 4) No AirPods, ever; I’d rather keep an ear out for oncoming traffic and any renegade squirrels. 5) Make walks fun. That means positive reinforcement, goofy voices, and treats for good sits and stays. Treats are on me.

About: I have been a pet owner since I was in my 20s. Over the years I have rescued a number of animals in need, both dogs and cats. I have also helped friends with their animals, including taking them to the vet and watching them when their owners were out of town. With my own dog, we have a routine that includes multiple walks per day, as well as at least one car ride. I believe in following a pet's routine. I am free in the summer and on the weekends and in the evenings. It all depends on what someone needs in a person caring for their pet. I believe in following what a pet owner needs for the comfort of their animal. Depending on the need of your animal, I can take care of walks, bringing them to the park, feeding them, and whatever else they need.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since the beginning of high school. I have dogsat for family and friends, and friends of them as well. They have relied on me to feed, walk, and stay with their pets when they are away. I’m currently a full time teacher that works from 7 am - 2:30 pm Mon-Fri, but I can be available weekdays after 2:30 pm and on most weekends! I make sure to leave the place the way I entered it. I always clean up after myself and make sure to clean from the pet as well. I follow the rules and expectations of the house owner.

About: As a child, I owned almost every pet imaginable - from house cats to Rottweilers to lizards to ferrets! Bless my poor mother's heart - we practically had a small zoo at our house! As an adult I owned a cat for 5 years and also "dog /cat sat" for friends and families many times. I'm an all-around animal lover who is comfortable with many different types of pet care. I'm a stay-at-home mom with plenty of flexibility on both weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets. My availability is limited on federal holidays. I live in a pet-friendly house with a fenced-in back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I also have access to a nearby park.

About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe.
