About: Not only did I grow up around dogs (one of my own and many neighbors’ dogs who I helped sit for), but I am also currently a proud dog mom to five medium-to-large dogs who are my entire life, some of whom I’ve raised from 8 weeks all the way through senior-hood. I have fostered over a dozen other dogs in addition to my own of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I have cared for dogs with both medical and behavioral issues as well. I work from home four days a week with minimal meetings and plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I don’t travel for my job. I do have commitments some evenings after 4pm. I have a fenced yard and very friendly dogs who would love to have a playmate! I also have two spare bedrooms to keep dogs separate if they need their own space or some quiet time. I have plenty of dog-safe brain teasers and puzzles to get their brains working as well. I do triathlons in my spare time and love to go for walks/runs with pups too!

Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. While I’m fairly new to Rover, I have 8+ years of hands-on animal care experience, including working with Holyoke Community College’s Veterinary Technician Program, where I helped care for animals housed on campus. About: Animals have been a part of my life starting from a very young age. As a small child my family fostered dogs and I was taught basic animal husbandry skills from an early age. Growing up we always also had 3 dogs of our own that I was dedicated to caring for. As I grew older my love for animals of all shapes and sizes also grew, guiding me to my career in animal science and veterinary medicine. I have been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years now. I am currently working on obtaining my Veterinary Technician license (CVT). Through my hands-on experience at my job, I have gained many skills. I am proficient and confident in administration of medications, administration of subcutaneous injections, ear cleanings, pedicures, anal gland expressions and more. I also have experience caring for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Lastly, I have my own flock of chickens and would be happy to care for yours if needed as well! I’m currently working part-time, so I have time in my schedule to play and care for your beloved pets as well. My schedule varies weekly so I would be happy to discuss your needs to see if we would be a good fit for each other! Unfortunately at this time I cannot house any clients pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for your pet in the safety and comfort of your home while you are away. I have various petsitting and housesitting references if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my number one priority.

About: I grew up with dogs. First, an eighty-pound lab with a five-hundred-pound personality. Then a water dog who swam with me all summer in Lake Michigan. And bulldogs, so many bulldogs. Now my wife and I live in Easthampton with a fifteen-pound walking Beanie Baby we adopted from Dakin. I could not live without dogs, and I wouldn’t want to. I would treat your dog like my own. I work part-time, which means your dog isn't competing with a packed schedule. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, I'm available for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pup company. Six years of professional walking taught me a few things. 1) Standard leash only, four to six feet, never retractable. I bring my own, but am happy to use yours. 2) Never rush a dog through a sniff, because that fire hydrant at the end of the block is important information and your dog knows it. 3) Always clean up after them. 4) No AirPods, ever; I’d rather keep an ear out for oncoming traffic and any renegade squirrels. 5) Make walks fun. That means positive reinforcement, goofy voices, and treats for good sits and stays. Treats are on me.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I am loving and have compassion. Every time I meet a new dog they can sense the good energy from me. ( I can’t update my schedule timing but it’s Monday- Friday 5-10pm) and Saturday-Sunday ( 9am-10pm) I am currently working full-time. I can come by and take care of the dogs or cats for however long after 11am as well as do drops in. I can care for pets at my clients house by maintaining a boundary in where the dogs or cats are supposed to be. As well as set up a little place where they can be at so I can watch them and play.

About: Hello! I always helped care for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was able to help care for litters of puppies. Most who went to the state of MA for agencies to train to help find missing people. I also grew up with cats and many reptiles. Currently I have two cats and three tortoises. I have professional experience as well from working for a local veterinarian clinic. Currently I travel for home health/health care worker within the area. I am always a drive away from my apartment to give potty breaks and walks for my new furry friends. I also have experience with dog obedience as I have a friend who owns/runs a local business. I have many resources for all animals. Currently I travel to my clients. Most of them are 5 to 20 minutes away from my apartment. I am able to make my own hours to take your fur baby out and spend time with them. I will take your dog out on leash for potty breaks and walks. I am able to take your dog to areas that are safe to take your dog off leash to run energy such as dog parks if you approve. If I am coming to you, I would want to learn everything you do to make your pet comfortable. I have many years of experience with all sorts of pets and farm animals if that’s growing up with pets and learning. Or if it’s in the vet med field or on the farm. First off everyone if different and that’s important to know how to make your pet most comfortable while they are being cared for. Going by your schedule and routine is very important for your pet so they are happy and comfortable while their family is away. I am able to help in anyway you request.

About: I have been doing a lot of dog sitting recently for family friends and other individuals. I am very reliable and have always been wanted back to care for their pets! I will do whatever is needed to make sure your animal is safe. I will keep your animal company as long as you wish. I am educated on giving medications to animals. Anything to keep the fur baby happy :) I am currently in nursing school and do have classes tuesday-thursday. Usually am gone from 8am-3pm but am free other than those times. Weekends and days off from school, I will be around to care for your pet. I do not care for other pets in my home, but will accommodate anything needed for your animals to make sure they are safe and happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years now, my aunt had very sweet german shepard that I would always walk, feed and play with. And now my family has our own dog that we love and care for very dearly! I currently work full-time, but I would be more than happy to take care of your furry friends on any of my days off or any afternoons I’m free!! My cat is indoors, but she always has food and water available, and lots of toys that’s she loves to play with! No fenced yard, but it is big and we have a very long leash that we use to play fetch with! And of course, lots of walks!

About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. Since I have a love for animals I thought this was the perfect opportunity for me. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and a cocktail. As you can imagine yes they can certainly be a handful but I couldnt imagine my life without them. Each and everyone being on a schedule of their own which is always never a problem.

About: I grew up taking care of my dogs. The first thing I did when I woke up was feed and play fetch with my German Shepherd. I absolutely love exercise, especially with a dog by my side:) I’m currently working as a high school health teacher. I have afternoons and weekends off each week. I would love to have something to do in my free time:) I will not be taking dogs in my own home but I am a quick learner and could easily use materials in your home to take care of your animals.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I had my puppy when she was 7 months. I have experience training puppies, taking care of dogs when they are sick, spending quality time with dogs and making sure they are well taken care of. I have experience administering liquid and pill medication to dogs. I am available full-time to watch and walk your pet. Last minute bookings accepted! Will watch your loving animal anytime of day. I am a student on break and my schedule is flexible. I have a home with a fenced in yard. There are no other pets in my home so I will give your animal the love and attention it deserves. He fed them and played with them and sent photos of them looking very content. He cleaned the litter box and he did some additional chores around the house. He even encountered an unexpected crisis and he was able to avert that without a problem. We missed them terribly, but we were comforted by the fact that Wen was taking such good care of them.”

About: I've had a a dog in my life on and off since I was born. I've had 4 dalmations while living with my family. One at a time and then a golden retriever and then adopted a pit/boxer mix a few years ago and then my mom 'stole' him. :-) I'm a huge fun of dogs and adore large breeds like pits, rotties, boxers, etc...and I'll still love to be with your little one if you have that too. I've sat for my friends female pittie a couple times and it's gone very very well. Apparently she doesn't like men too well however we got along terrifically. I miss playing and hanging out with my dog, "bueller" who my mom now gets to spend time with so that's why I'm here on this site. To get my 'doggie fix'. ;-) I feel I'm very aware of my surroundings while with my dog and also aware of the body language of the dog I'm with as they usually give a heads up if they are worried, anxious, fearful, etc... before something might happen. I have a flexible schedule and love to spend time with your furry loved ones. I'm cool with a super energetic pet or one that is more 'chill' I am presently unable to host/board your pets in my home, however I'm able to take care of them in your home or apartment if requested.
