“Love Audrey! She’s been taking care of my two cats for a few years now. She will go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and happy. My cats love her and even my shy cat who doesn’t like strangers now lets her pet her! Highly recommend!!”

“Brianna was great with our two energetic huskies, walking them every day for almost two weeks. She was conscientious, responsible, and finally we have someone we can trust our dogs with. Great job.”

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. I’ve had a ton of fun with the pets I've met so far, and I would love to meet some more furry friends and owners soon! I currently work from home full time in the healthcare industry. I am looking to offer sitting services in my free time, but can likely be flexible with my schedule. Safety for all pets is my biggest priority, whether they are my own or yours. I’m open to any information that would make your pets feel more comfortable, and would love to answer any questions during a meet and greet before a service.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5. I love them all! I have a horse named Olay that I board not at my house!) And dogs and a cat! I’m a first grade teacher so I have summer off starting 6/5! So will be able to do anytime at that point! For now I can do weekdays after 3pm and anytime weekends! I have a fenced in yard with lots of fun smells and my dog likes everyone and every dog he’s ever met! He’ll play all day but can als take a hint! Then we can hang out inside too!

Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, your furry family member will always feel safe, happy, and loved. I specialize in: Daily walks and potty breaks In-home drop-in visits Overnight care in your home Extra attention for puppies or high-energy pets I send photo updates so you can see your pets having fun and staying comfortable while you’re away. Each visit is tailored to your pet’s needs — because every pet deserves personalized care I’m available for late morning and midday visits (around 10 am – 1 pm) and again in the evenings. I make sure your pet gets attention, playtime, and reliable care while you’re away, always following their usual routine. Your pet will receive patient, attentive care while you’re away. I follow their usual routine and keep their environment calm and familiar so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. You know your pet best, so I pay attention to how you make sure your pets stay inside to keep it that way. I am always happy to text updates and pictures :)
“Rachel did a couple last minute drop-ins for me and was even able to squeeze in a meet & greet to meet my shy pup Kiva beforehand. Despite the meet & greet, Kiva was still wary and Rachel was very patient with her as Kiva got more comfortable. Thank you Rachel, I appreciate you!”

About: I’m a graduate student with a bachelors of science in Biology and a concentration in pre-vet, working towards a career in veterinary medicine with years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve worked in a clinical hospital and an animal shelter with both cats and dogs, gaining experience with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and needs. I’ve also taken multiple animal-focused college courses that strengthen my understanding of proper care, behavior, and health. In addition, I’ve provided pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors for several years. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, but I have as much time as I can give for your fur baby! I coach softball so I’m away part of July but other than that my schedule is pretty open. I prioritize pet safety by following routines closely, maintaining clean spaces, and respecting your home. I ensure pets are supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times.
“Jen did a great job with my two cats while I was away. She did all the tasks I had asked for and was excited to play with them. She sent me photos/videos of every single visit so I could make sure my boys were good to go! Thank you Jen, will book again!”

“Ace was super gentle and patient with my anxious shy guy! He took a liking to Ace quickly— not the norm for my dog. Ace was communicative and took great pics of my boy. Thank you Ace!! Will 100% book again soon ☺️”

It was such a relief to know that they were well taken care of while I was away and she went above and beyond not only with them but with other areas around the house as well. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Westfield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
