“Amy is very communicative and took great care of our dog. We had an issue with our key and lock and she was gracious throughout the experience. We will certainly be hiring her again.”

About: I was raised in a very pet-friendly family. We had dogs, cats, hamsters and pets galore. I was the proud pet parent of an 13 year old yellow-lab named Charlie. We went for a 2.5 mile walk twice a day (morning and night). I love animals of all sizes and types. Animals are my true passion. As my headline says, "Don't Be Nervous Pet Service." I will ensure that your animal family member is properly cared for and loved. I am blessed that my full-time position is work from home… this makes me able to work from anywhere. Your pet loved one will be surrounded by love all day long. I care for your pets the same regardless of my house or yours. I will ensure that their daily routines are followed and that they get LOTS of play time. If we rough house play, I always ensure that’s done outside so that all client possessions are not at risk for tail wag hits. :)
About: I have been taking care of dogs since the beginning of high school. I have dogsat for family and friends, and friends of them as well. They have relied on me to feed, walk, and stay with their pets when they are away. I’m currently a full time teacher that works from 7 am - 2:30 pm Mon-Fri, but I can be available weekdays after 2:30 pm and on most weekends! I make sure to leave the place the way I entered it. I always clean up after myself and make sure to clean from the pet as well. I follow the rules and expectations of the house owner.
“Lindsey was fantastic! She cared for our two kitties while we were on vacation for 10 days, and everything was perfect. The cats had an stress-free time and getting to see her notes with photos was wonderful. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been a pet owner since I was in my 20s. Over the years I have rescued a number of animals in need, both dogs and cats. I have also helped friends with their animals, including taking them to the vet and watching them when their owners were out of town. With my own dog, we have a routine that includes multiple walks per day, as well as at least one car ride. I believe in following a pet's routine. I am free in the summer and on the weekends and in the evenings. It all depends on what someone needs in a person caring for their pet. I believe in following what a pet owner needs for the comfort of their animal. Depending on the need of your animal, I can take care of walks, bringing them to the park, feeding them, and whatever else they need.

“Aemelia was great. We and our puppies really enjoyed interacting with her. She was able to accommodate our last minute needs and was very cool about it. We will for sure be contacting her again and again.”

“Janet was very communicative & understanding of my shy girl. You can tell right from the meet & greet she is very sweet and caring with animals. She was available at a last minutes notice and followed detailed instructions. Will definitely have her back! Thanks Janet!”

About: Hi, I’m Brianna! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of pet care experience, and I’m excited to provide loving, dependable care for your dog. While I’m fairly new to Rover, I have 8+ years of hands-on animal care experience, including working with Holyoke Community College’s Veterinary Technician Program, where I helped care for animals housed on campus. As a pet parent to two rescue pets, I understand that every animal has unique needs and deserves patience, compassion, and plenty of positive reinforcement. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, including puppies, seniors, and pets who need extra attention or medication. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently have open availability and welcome inquiries regarding specific scheduling needs. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your preferred dates and times. For overnight dog-sitting services, I am available to stay at your residence, as I have two pets of my own: a cat and a dog (Drax and Griswold). This arrangement allows me to provide attentive, uninterrupted care for your pets in the comfort of their familiar environment. However, I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits upon request.
“Sarah was so great with Jax! We got frequent updates about him and she even came up with her own creative ways to entertain him. She also discussed any concerns she had about him if they came up. It was clear that she really cares and takes her job seriously. Very trustworthy, so glad we found Sarah.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life starting from a very young age. As a small child my family fostered dogs and I was taught basic animal husbandry skills from an early age. Growing up we always also had 3 dogs of our own that I was dedicated to caring for. As I grew older my love for animals of all shapes and sizes also grew, guiding me to my career in animal science and veterinary medicine. I have been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years now. I am currently working on obtaining my Veterinary Technician license (CVT). Through my hands-on experience at my job, I have gained many skills. I am proficient and confident in administration of medications, administration of subcutaneous injections, ear cleanings, pedicures, anal gland expressions and more. I also have experience caring for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Lastly, I have my own flock of chickens and would be happy to care for yours if needed as well! I’m currently working part-time, so I have time in my schedule to play and care for your beloved pets as well. My schedule varies weekly so I would be happy to discuss your needs to see if we would be a good fit for each other! Unfortunately at this time I cannot house any clients pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for your pet in the safety and comfort of your home while you are away. I have various petsitting and housesitting references if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my number one priority.
About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. You know your pet best, so I pay attention to how you make sure your pets stay inside to keep it that way. I am always happy to text updates and pictures :)
About: I grew up with dogs. First, an eighty-pound lab with a five-hundred-pound personality. Then a water dog who swam with me all summer in Lake Michigan. And bulldogs, so many bulldogs. Now my wife and I live in Easthampton with a fifteen-pound walking Beanie Baby we adopted from Dakin. I could not live without dogs, and I wouldn’t want to. I would treat your dog like my own. I work part-time, which means your dog isn't competing with a packed schedule. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, I'm available for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pup company. Six years of professional walking taught me a few things. 1) Standard leash only, four to six feet, never retractable. I bring my own, but am happy to use yours. 2) Never rush a dog through a sniff, because that fire hydrant at the end of the block is important information and your dog knows it. 3) Always clean up after them. 4) No AirPods, ever; I’d rather keep an ear out for oncoming traffic and any renegade squirrels. 5) Make walks fun. That means positive reinforcement, goofy voices, and treats for good sits and stays. Treats are on me.
About: As a pet sitter I've had the chance to get to know a wide range of fur friends––from recently re-homed rescues who need supporting adjusting, to senior dogs in need of extra attentive care and walks slow enough that they can smell the roses. I love working with both cats and dogs, feel comfortable giving pets medications, and can tend to your pets needs, whether that be lots of space or extra trips to the park. I currently work part-time, giving me plenty of time to check in on your pet. I work mornings to the afternoon Monday through Thursday in Oakland. Happy to talk through how to best support your pet's regular routine. I'll be attentive to your home space, making sure your pet is safe and cared for. I am happy to send updates while you're away and will make sure your pet is getting the love, care, and activity they need, so you can relax.
“Alyssa was wonderful!! Our 2 dogs, Miller, Maggie and our cat Charlie loved her. This was our 1st time having someone take care of them and Alyssa was dependable, calm and caring! Our long weekend was more enjoyable because we didn't have to worry at all. Getting pictures after every visit, of them happy, was perfect!! We had a great experience, thank you Alyssa!!!”

About: Unfortunately, for me, I'm having a back issue. I'm still available for dog sitting if your dogs don't require long walks. Obviously, I'm able to walk but not for any distance. If your dogs enjoy dog parks or you have a fenced in yard, I'd love to meet you and your pups. I now live in Easthampton and I can no longer host dogs in my home which is very unfortunate. I am available, however, for drop-in visits, kitty sitting and pet sitting in your home. About this sitter: I am self-employed so I am in and out every day. I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time so your dog will have a lot of attention. I will follow your rules when caring for your dog. You will also receive daily updates and photos of your pup. Why I love dog sitting I've met so many wonderful dogs and their people. Dogs from a tiny pom to giant Great Danes. Many of us have become friends over the years which is an added bonus. I work very part time and seldom away for more than 3 or 4 hours. So your pets will get plenty of tender loving care. I follow your rules while staying at your home. If your pet sleeps with you, they can sleep with me. If your dogs likes a crate, that's fine too.
About: I am a certified vet tech with about 15 years experience. Additional years for pet ownership. I have been with animals my whole life and have dedicated the rest of my life to help to take care of them and make them happy. I can administer any type of medication, give subcutaneous fluids, or snuggle. Monday through Thursday I work from 7-5. I can do home visits three times daily on those days. Fridays and weekends are more flexible. My children are active participants in taking care of animals as they have been exposed to different types of pets with different demeaners. They understand to give pets their boundaries when they need their space. I have a fenced in yard for my active greyhound. I also have two cats who have automatic feeders and water fountains. My cats are older ladies so they don’t want to play but they are wonderful snugglers. My greyhound loves attention and his favorite is butt scratches. The foster pets that I would take care of would have their own safe space to be comfortable in my home.

About: I have been doing a lot of dog sitting recently for family friends and other individuals. I am very reliable and have always been wanted back to care for their pets! I will do whatever is needed to make sure your animal is safe. I will keep your animal company as long as you wish. I am educated on giving medications to animals. Anything to keep the fur baby happy :) I am currently in nursing school and do have classes tuesday-thursday. Usually am gone from 8am-3pm but am free other than those times. Weekends and days off from school, I will be around to care for your pet. I do not care for other pets in my home, but will accommodate anything needed for your animals to make sure they are safe and happy.
