About: I have 6 years organic animal farming experience - raising and caring for animals both very large and very small. I learned there how to remain calm and manage conflicting animal personalities. If I can coax a stressed out mama goat into allowing me to treat her ear mites, I can coax your spirit kitty into feeling safe enough to come out and eat! On the homefront, I've been a kitten foster mom, provided elder care for a sweet older husky, and had a number of pets myself over the years (cats, dogs, and reptiles). I can provide light vet care (eye or eardrops, pills, small wound cleaning). I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be willing to telework from an alternate location if someone needs to be home to watch an animal, or to receive a delivery. I can't host animals at my place, but as I work from home, I could stay at a client's place during the day, or overnight, or I can make a few daily trips to check in, feed & water, etc. I'm also a very good plant mom!
“Saige was fantastic! She house sat and cared for our older rescue dog, Rico, while we were away for a week. Saige sent regular updates and photos, and we were completely at ease knowing that Rico had settled into his normal routines so quickly with Saige. We have another trip coming up and we are looking forward to Saige taking care of Rico for us again!”

“We booked Brianna last minute. She made time to come and meet with us and our pup. She took great care of Roscoe and our home. Sent lots of pictures and was good with communication. Recommended!”
“Julie was amazingly flexible, as our schedule was unknown, and was there when we needed her. More importantly, she was good with Ricky, took him out for walks as well as for his sanitary needs, and kept us regularly informed, with pictures. If we are in the area again we will seek her to assist us, and Ricky, again.”

About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure animals get the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. 🐾 Caring for animals is truly a passion of mine, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, their safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I believe every walk, play session, or visit should be a highlight of their day, and I make sure to give them plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while their owners are away.
“Eryn was amazing dog sitting at my house. I was very worried about my nervous pup, how he would be for the week; but apparently as soon as I left, he was fine! I especially am grateful for Eryn extending her stay unexpectedly, when I had flight delays and could not get home in time for the original time. She even handled the huge snow storm like a pro, because she is. My pups very obviously adore her and I hope to hire her again soon!”

“Julissa is amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would. She kept us very informed about her stay and our fur-babies. I highly recommend her and we will definitely be booking her again!”

“Kristin is fabulous- great communication, thoughtful, kind. I just got home and everything is perfect and tidy and the pets are happy and healthy. Highly recommended.”

“Rick does such a good job giving my dog the activity and attention she needs while I’m away! I feel confident leaving my home and dog in their care knowing both will be well taken care of!”

“Cindy took great care of our tiny puppy, making it so we could go out without fear of his being alone too long. She helped us keep him on track for house-breaking and gave him tons of love.”

“Sarah is a phenomenal dog sitter. My anxious dogs bonded with her immediately so I felt very comfortable leaving for my trip. She texted multiple updates a day, including pictures. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Matt was great- took good care of our pup while we were away for the weekend and sent pics each day we were away. He left our home clean, stripped the bed, and even shoveled our driveway when we got snow while we were gone! Recommended! Would definitely use Matt again.”

“Erin was so great with Banner. She made sure to get him out for a walk or an adventure each day - something no other sitter has done. My boy is very high energy so he needs that stimulation she was able to provide! She updated me with pictures and texts each day which made me feel confident that Banner was in good hands. Thank you Erin for a great first stay with Banner!”

Robb was so responsible with our 3 animals, 2 of which required quite a bit of work (meds, walking several times a day, etc). He stayed with the dogs all weekend and sent us regular updates via the app (pictures and texts). He was flexible on his arrival and departure time too! We would highly recommend him and will definitely be utilizing him again in the future! Thanks Robb :)

Jem is great! She house sat for us for two weeks while we were out of the country and cared for our cats, senior dog and elderly horse. She was in regular contact with us, with updates and pictures of our pets the whole time we were gone. Everyone was healthy and happy and our house was spotless when we returned. We would highly recommend Jem!
