Our dog has separation issues and usually when we come back from trips he can be pretty anxious, but after his weekend with Bena he was calm, cuddly, and relaxed - almost like he liked her more than us! About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure animals get the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. 🐾 Caring for animals is truly a passion of mine, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, their safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I believe every walk, play session, or visit should be a highlight of their day, and I make sure to give them plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while their owners are away.

They tend to be very timid with new people and it can be frustrating trying to get them to relax/listen to someone other than myself or my fiance. With that said, Robb was very patient with the both of them and really took his time to slowly gain their trust. By the end of the stay, they both were very comfortable. Robb was responsive and responsible. He listened to our concerns and was able to ease our anxieties being away. Overall we are very happy and will definitely use his services again!”
