About: Calm, quiet environment with a sitter who craves doggy time. My 12 year old black lab recently lost her fight with cancer. Not ready to bring home a new dog, but would love to care for your precious fur babies while you are away. I offer patience and attention to your canine's needs. I'm a human nurse but also experienced with dogs special needs such as insulin administration. I work Monday-Friday, Home on weekends. No young children. Available for walks, dog Parks (dog park with your approval), or hanging out in the yard secured on a 50 foot lead. Dogs are not left outside unattended. You're welcome to bring your pets favorite toy for us to use during their stay. Will try to keep them on your schedule for easy transition from home to sitter. I speak to animals as of they can respond. Days are better with happy pets! Friday drop-off at 5:30 pm. Sunday pick-up by 8:00pm. I have a large yard and a spacious house. For doggy daycare and boarding: Right now, I dont own any dogs. Your dogs would be the only dogs in my home. When there are dogs in my home, my cats are safely locked away in the basement with their food, toys, water, and playhouses. There will be no interaction. I am currently working part time (remotely) and fully available to care for your pets, play with them, give them all the attention, care, and love they deserve! Morning, afternoon, evening, late night care is well within my timeframe. Caring for your dog: I will only walk on leash - no unleashed care unless within a fully fenced backyard. If you are training your dog, I will be able to continue with training. I am able to administer medication if needed. If your dog has any allergies or requires special food, please be sure to let me know. Happy to perform brushing or baths if needed. Pets, hugs, playtime, or lounging and relaxing - whatever their preference and makes them feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. As for caring for your cats, I request a full schedule of their feeding times, and recommendations as to what they enjoy playing with. If they like to be brushed, please note. About: Dogs have been a part of my family for all of the my life. Every family get together wouldn't be complete without a pack of at least 4 dogs playing and generally knocking things over. I have had two dogs of my own now and I keep them happy and healthy with tons of love and exercise. My recently pased husky lived to be almost 16, and was spunjy to the end. My current husky/golden mix is such a prince and I love hiking and spending time outside with him. I spend a lot of my time with my dog giving him structure and love and I understand that special relationship humans have with their hounds. I also understand that not every dog is a happy-go-lucky, tail wagging, "give me pets" sort of dog (my dog certainly isn't with strangers) and that all animals are unique and have their own personalities. I work on understanding and respecting what their individual needs are and put them before my own. I I love working with animals of all kinds, wild, domestic, and agricultural. I respect their boundaries and individuality and gladly invite all kinds of critters into my life! I am a very serious worker and take confidence and whatever I do and try to remain reflective and open to feedback I work full time, but I do have some flexibility to work from home/leave the office when needed. Drew was great with our cats. I'd been a bit worried leaving town because Gideon just started a new medication regimen and I wasn't sure how he'd do with a new person administering, but Drew was patient while Gideon ate his medicated food and it was no problem. Even skittish Sophie was warming up to Drew within a few days, which is fast for her. I would definitely hire Drew again next time we're out of town!

Bianca did a wonderful job taking care of our sweet but sensitive Miss Ellie! Given some weather and smoke (Canadian wildfires) challenges, Bianca made sure Ellie was walked/exercised daily, but stayed safe in the heat and smoke. Her communication was great and sent us frequent updates with pictures and videos which assured us Ellie was in good hands and well taken care of. Ellie bonded with her quickly.
