Brooke can care for
Availability
I currently just switched from full time to part time at the animal sanctuary and Good Dog Spot, so caring for animals is already built into my daily routine. Pet sitting allows me to gain even more hands-on experience while earning extra income doing something I genuinely care about. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting outside of my Doggy Daycare shifts, and I manage my schedule carefully to ensure each pet receives consistent, attentive care.

Safety, trust & environment
For everyone’s safety and comfort, I provide care in my client’s home only. I have a 14-year-old dog and two rescue hedgehogs who are territorial with unfamiliar animals, so I don’t host pets in my home. This helps prevent unnecessary stress for both my animals and yours. When caring for pets in your home, I follow routines exactly as instructed and prioritize keeping their environment calm, clean, and secure. I monitor behavior, appetite, and energy levels closely and will always communicate promptly if anything seems off. Your pet’s wellbeing and safety are my top priorities.
Information Brooke H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about your dog’s personality, routines, medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, leash manners, and any training cues or commands they know. I’d also love to know what toys, treats, or activities they enjoy most so I can make their visit as fun and comfortable as possible. If your dog is reactive, anxious, elderly, or has any mobility limitations, just let me know beforehand so I can provide the safest and most enjoyable experience for them. If you’d like, I’m also happy to use my dog stroller for senior or injured dogs during walks.
A typical day
I keep dogs physically and mentally stimulated through play, sniff walks, and exploring nature together. I enjoy stopping to appreciate flowers, wildlife, and all the interesting smells along the way, giving dogs plenty of time to sniff and explore. At home, I often play gentle classical music or instrumental country music to create a calm, enriching environment. I also keep a dog stroller in my car at all times for senior, injured, or disabled dogs. With the owner’s permission, I’d love to take them on peaceful walks so they can safely enjoy the fresh air and scenery too.

Pet care experience
I’ve worked hands-on with animals for years and currently volunteer/work at an animal sanctuary multiple days a week and The Good Dog Spot Northampton boarding location I’m very comfortable with feeding schedules, medication routines, cleaning enclosures, monitoring behavior changes, and handling animals safely and calmly. I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including high-energy breeds and more anxious personalities. I’m very observant and take animal welfare seriously — I notice small behavior changes quickly and always prioritize safety and comfort.🩷 I will add photos of my happy dog customers to my profile! I also have my wildlife rehabbers license :)

Reviews
Brooke is a true animal lover with incredible range. She’s responsibly cared for dogs and cats, but her experience with unique pets like hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and even farm animals like pigs and turkeys is what sets her apart. She treats every creature with specialized care, patience, and genuine affection
What makes Brooke such a good employee and friend is her considerate and gentle nature. She approaches both people and animals with patience and understanding, creating a calm and positive environment. This is especially important when caring for pets, as it helps them feel comfortable and reduces stress. She has experience working on a farm which has lead her to understand what animals really need. Brooke is committed to providing the best customer service. She's reliable, communicative, and always willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of her clients and their beloved animals. I can confidently say that with Brooke on your team the animals will be in the best hands.
Brooke is amazing with animals of all kinds, kind, gentile and you can tell she really loves helping and being with them. Amazingly patient and thoughtful.
