“I chose Matt because I had read his reviews and he lived up to the reputation! I think dogs are a good judge of character and she warmed up to him immediately upon his first visit to meet her. I had plans to leave the country and needed to feel like my pup was in good hands and well cared for. She has some special needs and Matt made sure she received the care she required. I loved the updates, pictures and videos Matt sent, all which helped me know she was happy and healthy. She even is jumping on people less! He somehow taught her to stop this annoying behavior and I need to find out how he did this!! I definitely would recommend him!”

“Adara did a fabulous job caring for our fur baby, Toby, in our home when we went away for the weekend! Toby is a bit (ok, VERY) quirky, and he doesn't do well with changes to his routine. Adara went above and beyond when caring for him. We felt very comfortable with her in our home, as well. Toby gives Adara a 10/10 for pet sitting, and so do we!”

Our dog loves everyone but our cat is much more particular; Lilly understood her and was not swayed. I can say without a doubt that both pets enjoyed Lilly's presense, time and attention. While we were away, she sent us plenty of pictures and updates, as we requested, and patiently gained skittish Amelia's trust. When we returned home, our house was immaculately clean and Amelia was healthy and happy. We'd gladly have her back anytime!”

“Sonya cared for my 13 and 14 year old cats on and off from 2021-2023 while I was away from home for extended periods from a few days to a few months. For the longer periods, she also stayed at the house (and took care of mail/plants etc). She is responsible, reliable, careful, patient and communicative--sending me daily reports when requested, and following, often intricate, cat-care instructions for aging felines. Moreover, it was clear to me that she is an animal person--both my cats, even my 13 year old shy guy who hardly comes out for anyone but me, quickly established good rapports with her. It was much easier to leave home knowing she was there both taking care of their needs and keeping them good company, especially when, in 2023, my 14 year old developed cancer and needed extra care. I have always felt I am leaving my pets in the care of a person who will look after them as if they were her own. I look forward to employing her for my next extended trip.”

“Emma has been taking care of my dogs from over ten years. She treats them like they are her own. She goes above and beyond what she is asked and always makes sure my dogs are happy and healthy. She has administered medication and has been there for my aging animals through numerous health scares. I trust her completely with my babies and I know she will take care of everyone’s pets with all of her heart. She is a true dog person. She is amazingly loving with them and affectionate and we are so grateful to have her in our lives!”

“Joshua was absolutely wonderful. Normally our dogs prefer female sitters but after the initial meet and greet we knew that Joshua would be an excellent fit. He went above and beyond and it felt like our dogs had their own little staycation. He kept us updated on everything that was going on and sent plenty of photos. It’s clear that he genuinely loves animals. We may need to start planning vacations around Joshua’s availability.”

“Mallory was absolutely fantastic in every way. We had to book a dog/cat/house sitter at the last minute (our dog was sick and was no longer allowed to stay at the place we had booked her). We were so incredibly lucky to find Mallory -- she was able to stay at the house, and give lots of walks and cuddles to our beloved pets. We received regular updates with photos! In short, Mallory was a life saver, and she was wonderful with Bessie and Bo. Bessie quickly warmed to her, sleeping on the bed with her!! It was our first experience with dog and house sitting, and our first experience with Rover.com, and we couldn't have been happier. I can't recommend Mallory highly enough!!”
