About: As a proud owner of an orange, female, polydactyl cat — formally feral from the Bronx in NY — I have definitely seen my fair share of spicy cat behavior. It adds to their personality! I really enjoy cats and consider them one of my favorite pets to care for. About: I love animals of all types, I have 3 dogs myself and have animals my whole life. I used to volunteer at a humane society. I believe in trying to give animals the best life possible. I will make your pet fit into my schedule multiple times a day. I work full time but can schedule a head of time to make sure all of your pets needs are fulfilled. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for my 3 dogs. I walk them at a minimum one time a day (depending on the weather) and also make sure I make time to play with them as well.

About: On my third birthday, a litter of puppies was born in on my kitchen floor. Best present ever! There have always been dogs in my life ever since. I've learned a great deal from them. About: I sincerely LOVE getting to know each individual dog's personality (quirks and all!) and learning about what makes them happiest. I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). About: With dogs especially, I have worked at a dog daycare for 6 years while also doing my own overnights for the last 10 years. I mainly choose to do sitting rather than boarding, but the right dogs would also be okay at mine. I have a fenced in yard and great neighborhood for walking. Dogs are what I picture my future looking like. I’ve done basic training classes with certifications, but nothing specialized. I love dogs of all ages and feel very lucky to have been able to spend time with as many as I have over the years. I recently quit my job I no longer loved to get back into working with dogs. Going back to work and being gone for 8 hours/day was extremely difficult after having worked with dogs for so many years previously. I have a fenced in yard and my own dogs to either keep yours company or who also love to go spend time at their grandparents house. While I mostly prefer to sit over boarding, the right dogs are more than welcome in my home. I like to ask lots of introduction questions to really get a good feel for your pets lifestyle and comfort level. I like to stick to their routines—meals, walks, playtime, and snuggles—so everything feels familiar and comfortable as it would normally. It's important to give plenty of attention, cuddles, and enrichment during each visit.
About: I’ve taken care of many of my family, friends, neighbors, pets. Cats, dogs, one time a fish! I have two adorable dogs myself! I know what it’s like to take care of a sensitive dog, a reactive dog, big dogs, and small dogs. I have always had a love for animals and will listen to any special instructions given! Almost any day is alright (as long as you check in beforehand) my schedule is super open! At least a day or two in advance. I listen to any given instructions. I try not to make direct eye contact with dog at first, will call out their name, keep calm body language and let the dog come to me. I may change how I go about getting to know a dog depending on its personality!
About: As a child, I owned almost every pet imaginable - from house cats to Rottweilers to lizards to ferrets! Bless my poor mother's heart - we practically had a small zoo at our house! As an adult I owned a cat for 5 years and also "dog /cat sat" for friends and families many times. I'm an all-around animal lover who is comfortable with many different types of pet care. I'm a stay-at-home mom with a four year old. Please be advised that if I pet-sit overnight at your home, my daughter will most likely be accompanying me for at least part of the job assignment. If you aren’t comfortable having well-behaved, well-supervised children at your home, then unfortunately I’m not a good fit your you. I have plenty of flexibility on both weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets. I live in a pet-friendly house with a fenced-in back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I also have access to a nearby park.

Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. You know your pet best, so I pay attention to how you make sure your pets stay inside to keep it that way. I am always happy to text updates and pictures :)

About: I've taken care of and watched animals for practically my entire life, but the first time I had ever watched animals by myself was when I was around 10. I frequently watch and let my aunt's dogs out and have a cat of my own. I hope to have many animals someday! I am currently going to school full-time, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I will have plenty of time to hang out with your animal! I currently have a cat, so if your animal has an aversion to cats, I recommend booking someone else! My cat does not like other cats, but he has his own area, so they will not interact if I watch your cat in my home. If I pet sit at your home, I am accommodating to anything you need, whether staying over or just popping in to let them out!
