At the end of our first meeting, I nervously asked Georgia if she thought she would want to take the responsibility of caring for our dogs and home while we were away. When Georgia said she was willing to take care of them, it was such a relief. Then I asked Georgia to come and spend more time with them/us again, prior to the overnight. She said, "Yes, of course!" and I felt that we had hit the jackpot! Prior to and during the stay, Georgia responded quickly to my numerous messages/questions/check ins. She sent us pics and kept us updated. When we returned home, our house was exactly as we left it and the dogs behaved as though we were not away. This made us feel as though they were comfortable and relaxed with Georgia while we were away. Georgia is truly invested in building relationships with pet owners as well as the pets. It is clear that Georgia cares about her responsibilities, loves animals, and takes this position seriously. She is a true gem and we are already talking about going away again very soon.
