This is currently my main source of income, so I have fairly open availability. I also have a car with plenty of space so I can both commute and transport pets.

A typical day
I put a lot of effort into making sure the animals I watch are being fulfilled and enriched to the best of my abilities. We might go on walks, play training games, or spend lots of time cuddling and hanging out depending on what your pet needs!

Pet care experience
I've been caring for a variety of animals(including dogs, cats, invertebrates, and livestock) for over a decade, since I was about 10 years old. I have experience with animal handling, animal care, dog walking, pet sitting, and animal training. I work with all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs, and am a dog trainer (I have also trained cats and pigs!) currently specializing in obedience and reactivity. I am currently working towards my CPDT and goodpup certifications.

Skye has a natural, easy way with all animals, and they gravitate to Skye almost immediately. Skye is gentle, attentive, and caring, anticipating needs and proactively addressing them. Skye is also highly skilled in training for obedience and to address behavioural challenges. They have helped me address my reactive dog's rapid escalations and made a significant difference in my dog's stress levels and displays of aggression over the past several years. I never have to worry about my dogs when they are in Skye's care because Skye treats every dog like they are a personal family pet.
I have known Skye for over 5 years now and have always trusted them with my dogs. I have 4 dogs all of which I trust fully in the hands of Skye. They move slowly with my fearful pup that dislikes strangers, and have a genuine bond with my other 3. They don’t just take care of your pets they genuinely care about them and want to build a connection so your pet feel safe in their care.
