About: I have always had at least 2+ dogs in my house since I was born. I currently have 2 of my own who make life so much better! I know it’s not always easy to work and have pets but I hope I can help some people no matter if it’s letting them out or walking them. About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: I was blessed with a feline friend at the age of 2. Although I do not remember all of our times together, she has been by my side through all of life's up's and down's. We have even experienced the responsibility of sharing our home with 2 more companions: a Maltese and a Chihuahua! It is quite a random pool of different beings! Nevertheless, we all seem to get along. I do all I can to ensure their well being is top notch. You really grow a love for your companion(s) and it's hard to not care for them. I am full time and have no restrictions to my schedule. I am available as early as 6:00am and can accommodate appointments during sundown. I am easy to communicate with and straightforward with negotiations. It is a dogs fantasy: a large neighborhood with quiet streets to explore, 2 nearby parks to frolic and play, with a dog park frequently visited by other furry friends and their owners.

Between the both of us we have years of experience caring for family pets and understand the importance of providing dogs with attention, exercise, affection, and consistency. While me and my husband both work full time, our schedules are coordinated so that someone is almost always home. About: I have always had at least 2+ dogs in my house since I was born. I currently have 2 of my own who make life so much better! I know it’s not always easy to work and have pets but I hope I can help some people no matter if it’s letting them out or walking them. I am currently a nurse but looking to also do house sitting, dog walking, drop ins, whatever is needed! I am available to help anytime after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am willing to go late as well! Some days I can also go before 7am I have two pets in my home one is a lab mix and one is a heeler mix. Both love all animals and people. They’re both three years old.
