About: I've had a dog since I was 9 that I have helped to take care of. My neighbors have relied on me to care for their dogs over the years, including feeding, walking, and bathing. I am now going into my 4th year at UMass Amherst for animal science. During lectures and lab, we learned everything and anything about taking care of any kind of dog or cat. I am currently working part-time at the UMass Hadley Barn. My shifts vary each week; some days I have three shifts, and other days I have only 1. The shifts are usually no longer than 2-3 hours long. But if I know I have a pet to take care of, I can get out earlier to tend to their needs! I will care for your fur baby in the comfort of their home or mine, providing any care that is requested while also making sure they are enjoying themselves safely!

I know a lot of the behavioral signs of discomfort in animals, I always want the pets I’m working with to enjoy their time. I will always make sure a pet is in a safe and fitting environment for their needs. I have worked with pets who are sick, directly after surgery, and who need medication administered
