About: I’ve had cats my entire life and they’ve always been my favorite animal. I have hands-on experience through cat rescue, where I helped socialize entire families of feral cats and prepare them for adoption, as well as experience in a cat hospice caring for senior and medically fragile cats. About: Animals have been a part of my life starting from a very young age. As a small child my family fostered dogs and I was taught basic animal husbandry skills from an early age. Growing up we always also had 3 dogs of our own that I was dedicated to caring for. As I grew older my love for animals of all shapes and sizes also grew, guiding me to my career in animal science and veterinary medicine. I have been working in veterinary medicine for 6 years now. I am currently working on obtaining my Veterinary Technician license (CVT). Through my hands-on experience at my job, I have gained many skills. I am proficient and confident in administration of medications, administration of subcutaneous injections, ear cleanings, pedicures, anal gland expressions and more. About: i’ve taken care of dogs/animals mostly all my life ,im 21 and owned a dog half my life also but sadly i had to put him down so now i would love to dog sit to still show my love , interest and care into dogs without owning my own again yet i’m home all day unless i make plans and adding pet care into my day would allow me to be more active and it just gives me something do to during the day i have a fended in yard and a good sized back yard for pets to play and roam freely , no other pets in the house hold at the moment,

I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

What sets me apart is my patience and passion for all the beautiful fur babies we all love. I currently am in school Tuesday and Wednesday nights 5-7, so I have plenty time to devote to your pups and all of their needs! I care for dogs with staying on schedule with walk time to feeding time, with proper crate time if need be and more than enough attention.

“We boarded our dog, Guinness, with Heather and Norman for two days, and they were absolutely wonderful! Heather and Norman were sweet and took excellent care of Guinness. They took him for walks and even sent us photos. It was clear that Guinness and their dog, Zeus, got along so well and had a great time playing together. Now that he's home, Guinness seems sad and misses Zeus. We will definitely use Heather and Norman's services again. Highly recommended!”

Between the both of us we have years of experience caring for family pets and understand the importance of providing dogs with attention, exercise, affection, and consistency. While me and my husband both work full time, our schedules are coordinated so that someone is almost always home. Your dog will never be left alone for extended periods and will receive plenty of companionship and care throughout the day.
