“Outstanding! Alan and Luis provided extraordinary care for our Black Lab mix Annie while we were on vacation for a week. They are truly the best! Compassionate, friendly, caring, trustworthy are just a few words to describe Alan and Luis. The house is beautiful with a gated fence and a "kiddy pool". Annie truly enjoyed her stay and playing with the other guests as evidenced by her disposition when I picked her up and the the daily photos. This was our puppies' first time away from home and our puppy wasn't fully accustomed to new people, new dogs, new surroundings and new routines yet, so both our puppy and we were a bit nervous about leaving him for the day. But Destanie did a fine job of addressing all our anxieties and our puppy was very well cared for. About: I’ve been a dog care volunteer at Dakin for almost two years now where I’ve had robust training on how to properly handle dogs that may be stressed out. I’ve been trusted with handling the biggest of dogs to the smallest of pups. I have a flexible schedule. Currently most of my days are spent making art to sell at fairs so it doesn’t take much for me to go check in on your pets! I've been told I have a calm energy when meeting animals, and the three dogs my friends currently own seem to gravitate towards me. I also like playing tug, throwing sticks, and having a lap dog come to me for rubs. I work at a school and have off in the summer. I have a flexible schedule in the summer aside from a few small trips. My plan is to update my schedule frequently to keep up with my availability. When I am back at work, I will have to revamp my schedule. As for right now, I would prefer to go to the pet's home, as mine is not currently pet appropriate (plants and size). If I come to know a cat and owner well, I would adjust and put the plants in a closed room so the kitty could safely roam the rest of the house. At a pet's house, I would love a run down of their favorite toys, when treats are allowed to be given, etc. I love taking photos already, so would absolutely love to photograph your dog or cat being cute and fun, and send those as an update.
About: Taken care of several friends and family members pets over the last 10 years. Have owned cats and a rescue dog. Love animals and happy to help checkin on yours. Looking for basic feeding/walk check-ins. I am currently home with my kids and have a flexible schedule but afternoon/evenings are best during the week and weekends I am available anytime of day. I love animals and always make sure they have what they need and are taken care of. I am a calm presence and make sure to read an animals energy. For our dog she gets out each day on a walk and gets her pills regularly.
About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure animals get the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. 🐾 Caring for animals is truly a passion of mine, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I would give my own. About: Hello, ..... We love to be around animals large and small. I had dogs growing up and when my children where growing up. I now love on my Grand Fur Babies. I have 2 cats who acclimate well to dogs, and We now have a great pup ourselves, she is a 2 yr old Pitsky....... I am so in love with my crazy girl. About: I am an animal science student at UConn and currently ride on their equestrian team. I have trained my own two dogs while learning from a professional trainer and now I train and sell horses along with house sitting dogs and cats here and there. I am available most days to walk, run, or visit your cat or pup until I go back to college. I am currently not working another job so my schedule is open. “Outstanding! Alan and Luis provided extraordinary care for our Black Lab mix Annie while we were on vacation for a week. They are truly the best! Compassionate, friendly, caring, trustworthy are just a few words to describe Alan and Luis. The house is beautiful with a gated fence and a "kiddy pool". Annie truly enjoyed her stay and playing with the other guests as evidenced by her disposition when I picked her up and the the daily photos. I will always check first with Alan and Luis in the future when I need a sitter for Annie.”
