About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life! From being raised with dogs and parakeets, to later expanding my personal knowledge to cats, rabbits, rats, and more, I understand that each pet is as unique as their owner and deserves to have their needs met. Patience and compassion are my keystones to pet care. My experience includes basic grooming, teeth brushing, utilizing a pill-popper tool/giving oral medication, spicy cat maintenance (trust me, I have my own), grumpy dogs, walking, play motivation, anxious pets, and verbal affirmations. Growing up, I trained two of my dogs from puppyhood, as well as converting a feral adult cat to basic training behaviors such as "stay” and even “paw!” I am an extremely quick study and am happy to cater to your pets' specific needs! I currently work 40 hours a week from about 8am-4:30pm, but have plenty of afternoon flexibility and full weekend availability! I am available on Saturdays and Sundays during the day for house/pet sitting, as well as Fridays after 5pm. This care is as tailored as you would like it to be! Based on your preferences and your animal's personality, I am happy to adapt to your family's needs. I can crate your dog, groom your cat, spend time with them in close or far proximity, add meal toppers to their dinners, you name it! Each pet is unique and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible while entrusting them with me.

About: I have Joyfully shared my entire life with pets for 70 years now!! I speak Fluent Feline and Canine and have been a pet parent to dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, turtles and fish as a child and provided daycare for birds. I am also a Certified Level ll Reiki Energy Practitioner. My services include Housesitting, Drop-ins and both dog and cat walking! My beloved Josie used to love going outside on a harness and leash since she and brother Shadow were feral-born barn kitties and then “indoor only” rescue pets for 15+ years! My Passion to care for other people’s pets as a new career/business stems from the tragic loss of both my feline companions at the end of 2024. About: I have been the proud dog dad of Franklin, a rescue 15 year old terrier mix who suffers from separation anxiety, for over 10 years. More recently, I have cared for him through eye removal surgery as well as terminal joint and heart issues. As a result, I have experience giving oral, ocular and topical medications. I have this experience with other dogs as well, as I am always quick to volunteer for any opportunity to walk or babysit a friend or families dog - even going so far as to visit dogs rather than people at family weddings. About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. Working with rescue dogs taught me how to read body language, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care. I’ve also been a cat owner since I was eight years old and have had four cats throughout my life. About: I’ve worked with animals for 10 years, starting as a dog groomer and day-care worker! I have done house and animal care for the last seven years as a way to hang out with pets while I can’t have my dog with me. I am happy with all breeds and ages of animals, and love to be active and outside so if your dog loves a good walk I will be their friend! I have just graduated from Smith (MSc) and am working as a swim coach. This is typically 6-9pm on weeknights but we are currently on a break! About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

About: My passion for dogs is as natural to me as breathing - whether it’s taking care of my own pets or someone else’s, my love of each pet is always deep and sincere. I know that each dog has their own unique personality and needs which requires high level of attention to detail. I am currently working full time, M-F 8:30-5:00. My weekday evenings are typically free, and my weekends are wide open. I am also available most holidays and the surrounding days. I take safety very seriously in all situations to ensure a happy and healthy experience for pets and the people around them. I always have a first aid kit and a backup leash with me when I take your dog for a walk and never allow strangers to approach. When greeting and leaving your pet, you can trust that I will perform a general inspection to ensure they are healthy and in a secure environment.

About: Unavailable in the Seattle area until mid-January. I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. I always want them to feel comfortable and safe, especially in their own home. If any kinds of issues come up, I will always make sure to notify the owner.

Though my schedule fluctuates, I can usually provide potty breaks, outdoor time, and walks up to two times a day, in addition to morning and bedtime feeding and other miscellaneous requests. About: I've taken care of and watched animals for practically my entire life, but the first time I had ever watched animals by myself was when I was around 10. I frequently watch and let my aunt's dogs out and have a cat of my own. I hope to have many animals someday! I am currently going to school full-time, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I will have plenty of time to hang out with your animal! I currently have a cat, so if your animal has an aversion to cats, I recommend booking someone else! My cat does not like other cats, but he has his own area, so they will not interact if I watch your cat in my home. If I pet sit at your home, I am accommodating to anything you need, whether staying over or just popping in to let them out!

About: *listed experience is for dogs, as cats seem to have their own experience area* I love dogs, cats, (guinea pigs, bunnies, and hedgehogs too—though I don't think that's an option here). I grew up with 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, and chickens. I have lived with cats and small dogs multiple times (housemates), and I have petsitted for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I have limited experience with walking dogs (I grew up with cats) but have loads of previous and current experience playing with dogs (family and friends). In college I walked and played with greyhounds at a rescue for racing greyhounds, and I also worked for a little bit at an animal shelter. I'd like to use this opportunity to figure out which type of dog I'd like to adopt someday. For now, as a new sitter on here, I'd be most comfortable doing drop in and play visits with cats and dogs of all sizes, and walking dogs of medium size or less. I've been told I have a calm energy when meeting animals, and the three dogs my friends currently own seem to gravitate towards me. I also like playing tug, throwing sticks, and having a lap dog come to me for rubs. I work at a school and have off in the summer. I have a flexible schedule in the summer aside from a few small trips. My plan is to update my schedule frequently to keep up with my availability. When I am back at work, I will have to revamp my schedule. As for right now, I would prefer to go to the pet's home, as mine is not currently pet appropriate (plants and size). If I come to know a cat and owner well, I would adjust and put the plants in a closed room so the kitty could safely roam the rest of the house. At a pet's house, I would love a run down of their favorite toys, when treats are allowed to be given, etc. I love taking photos already, so would absolutely love to photograph your dog or cat being cute and fun, and send those as an update.

About: Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm the youngest of a big family, and we've had many pets (mostly dogs and cats) growing up. I'm very active and love going on long walks with dogs. Throughout my adult life, my friends with pets have relied on me to take care of them while they’re away. I’m also always attentive to pets who have anxiety and make sure to give them the extra love and cuddles they deserve. Most of my availability falls on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I'm open to dog walking, dog sitting (drop-ins and overnights if need be) at the client’s house. There are currently no pets living in my house, but when my friends leave me with their pets, they are guaranteed to get all of the positive attention and love they need to be happy. At a client’s house, I would make sure their pets receive this kind of attention, while also allowing them to be comfortable in their own homes; I would pay close attention to the pets’ moods and energy levels, playing with them when energy levels are high and also giving them time to relax and be calm when need be too. Above all, safety would be my top priority.
