About: I have been a dog walker and pet sitter since I was very young. I enjoy walking dogs and spending time with people’s pets. I have had cats my whole life and enjoy the company of animals and have experience with pets with health issues that need special consideration. I am available all week and weekends for daily walks and care taking. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to work around you and your pet’s needs I will be happy to care for pets in clients homes, and as a new home owner myself I understand how important it is to respect a home and care for it well :)

About: Hello my name is Nieves, I have been a devoted animal lover my whole life! I enjoy spending time with animals, and lived with my own beloved dog Roscoe Burgers, until he passed in the fall. I believe every animal is unique and special, and worth getting to know. I am looking to spend time with your furry loved ones, be it going on a walk, or give you complete peace of mind while you are away from home. I am a true animal lover, and can't wait to meet you and your little sweetums. I work from home 3 of the 5 days I work, and enjoy going on walks in the immediate area. I walk before I got to work, on my lunch break, and after work. This is a habit I developed with my beloved pooch, and would be happy to continue with your pup on the leash. I also am happy to provide check-ins, or stays as your pet sitting needs ebb and flow. I am pretty structured, and can stick to the plan, or instructions that you lay out for me. My own dog was sick for almost 2 years near the end of his life, so I am familiar with administering medications, and needing to stick to a stricter timeline as needed. I also enjoy collaging on my phone, and would love to give you picturesque updates of your sweet pal(s).

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats as pets and there have been medical issues I have learned to deal with such as asthma, arthritis injections and heart murmurs. I have also worked at vet clinics for summer jobs! I am currently a full time student as UMASS Amherst. Most of my availability will be on weekends but I can also do weekday evenings. I will not be in MA during holidays since I go home to my family. I can drop-in to feed animals or I can spend some time with the animals. I am happy to go for walks or if the animals prefer to stay inside, I can bring some work to do while I am there.

About: My passion for dogs is as natural to me as breathing - whether it’s taking care of my own pets or someone else’s, my love of each pet is always deep and sincere. I know that each dog has their own unique personality and needs which requires high level of attention to detail. I am currently working full time, M-F 8:30-5:00. My weekday evenings are typically free, and my weekends are wide open. I am also available most holidays and the surrounding days. I take safety very seriously in all situations to ensure a happy and healthy experience for pets and the people around them. I always have a first aid kit and a backup leash with me when I take your dog for a walk and never allow strangers to approach. When greeting and leaving your pet, you can trust that I will perform a general inspection to ensure they are healthy and in a secure environment.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 10. Most of my experience has come from helping family, friends, and neighbors with their pets when they need someone they can trust. I’ve taken care of pets with different personalities and energy levels, and I really enjoy getting to know what makes each one comfortable and happy. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, feed them, give them attention, or just keep them company, and I’m just as comfortable spending time with cats and making sure they get the care and attention they need. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I want you to feel confident that they’re safe, comfortable, and being well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in college, so my availability depends on my class schedule. I’m available anytime on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I’m available after 1 PM on Fridays. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. When caring for someone’s pet, I want both the pet and their owner to feel comfortable and confident leaving them with me. I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, while making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I’ll also treat your home with respect and keep you updated while you’re away so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life! From being raised with dogs and parakeets, to later expanding my personal knowledge to cats, rabbits, rats, and more, I understand that each pet is as unique as their owner and deserves to have their needs met. Patience and compassion are my keystones to pet care. My experience includes basic grooming, teeth brushing, utilizing a pill-popper tool/giving oral medication, spicy cat maintenance (trust me, I have my own), grumpy dogs, walking, play motivation, anxious pets, and verbal affirmations. Growing up, I trained two of my dogs from puppyhood, as well as converting a feral adult cat to basic training behaviors such as "stay” and even “paw!” I am an extremely quick study and am happy to cater to your pets' specific needs! I currently work 40 hours a week from about 8am-4:30pm, but have plenty of afternoon flexibility and full weekend availability! I am available on Saturdays and Sundays during the day for house/pet sitting, as well as Fridays after 5pm. This care is as tailored as you would like it to be! Based on your preferences and your animal's personality, I am happy to adapt to your family's needs. I can crate your dog, groom your cat, spend time with them in close or far proximity, add meal toppers to their dinners, you name it! Each pet is unique and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible while entrusting them with me.

About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

Available for boarding, drop in, and walks I currently work mostly from home so I'm flexible for boarding and daytime visits. Love taking long walks and spending time at home with animals. About: *listed experience is for dogs, as cats seem to have their own experience area* I love dogs, cats, (guinea pigs, bunnies, and hedgehogs too—though I don't think that's an option here). I grew up with 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, and chickens. I have lived with cats and small dogs multiple times (housemates), and I have petsitted for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I have limited experience with walking dogs (I grew up with cats) but have loads of previous and current experience playing with dogs (family and friends). In college I walked and played with greyhounds at a rescue for racing greyhounds, and I also worked for a little bit at an animal shelter. I'd like to use this opportunity to figure out which type of dog I'd like to adopt someday. For now, as a new sitter on here, I'd be most comfortable doing drop in and play visits with cats and dogs of all sizes, and walking dogs of medium size or less. I've been told I have a calm energy when meeting animals, and the three dogs my friends currently own seem to gravitate towards me. I also like playing tug, throwing sticks, and having a lap dog come to me for rubs. I work at a school and have off in the summer. I have a flexible schedule in the summer aside from a few small trips. My plan is to update my schedule frequently to keep up with my availability. When I am back at work, I will have to revamp my schedule. As for right now, I would prefer to go to the pet's home, as mine is not currently pet appropriate (plants and size). If I come to know a cat and owner well, I would adjust and put the plants in a closed room so the kitty could safely roam the rest of the house. At a pet's house, I would love a run down of their favorite toys, when treats are allowed to be given, etc. I love taking photos already, so would absolutely love to photograph your dog or cat being cute and fun, and send those as an update.

About: Growing up, my family dog was epileptic and required a lot of serious attention. Since then, I have watched dogs and cats for weeks during friends and family’s vacations. I currently work a flexible schedule so I can be mostly available to walk your dogs I would just need a heads up on timing! I do attend school so my availability will be changing once the year begins. I can make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. I can also make sure they get enough exercise as I love to walk and run!

About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe.
