About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. Working with rescue dogs taught me how to read body language, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care. I’ve also been a cat owner since I was eight years old and have had four cats throughout my life. My senior cat became disabled later in life, so I have experience with medication, grooming, litter box care, and adapting routines for pets with special needs. That experience gave me a special place in my heart for senior animals and pets who need a little extra patience. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! As a full-time Animal Science student, I schedule pet care around my classes and keep my availability updated on Rover. I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, and once I accept a booking your pet becomes a priority. I offer reliable drop-in visits and dog walking, and I’m happy to spend extra time with your pets when needed to make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I provide care in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, walks, and extended drop-ins so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I always treat my clients’ homes with respect, make safety my top priority, and provide regular photo and message updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

About: I have pet sat cats and dogs for the last 7 years, and am very attentive to individual needs. Having grown up with a cat myself and taking care of my sisters dog definitely set me up for successful pet care. I work part time currently so am often available up to 2 days during the week and often one weekend day to care for your pets! I often let the pets lead me at first when I enter their environment. I want them to feel safe and comfortable, and am very patient when dealing with more anxious or defensive pets.

About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience. I’m very work-oriented, reliable, and people have told me I’m great with customer service. Neighbors, friends, and family often count on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I truly love every moment of it. As a full-time student, I’ve built a schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I also work at a doggy daycare in Avon, CT, so my work schedule usually varies throughout the week. I’m happy to communicate my availability ahead of time and work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works best for everyone. I’m generally more flexible on days I’m not working and can often accommodate evenings and weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Working at a doggy daycare has given me experience handling dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to their body language and routines and always make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise, attention, rest, food, and potty breaks. About: I’ve had many dogs and cats as pets and there have been medical issues I have learned to deal with such as asthma, arthritis injections and heart murmurs. I have also worked at vet clinics for summer jobs! I am currently a full time student as UMASS Amherst. Most of my availability will be on weekends but I can also do weekday evenings. I will not be in MA during holidays since I go home to my family. I can drop-in to feed animals or I can spend some time with the animals. I am happy to go for walks or if the animals prefer to stay inside, I can bring some work to do while I am there.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 10. Most of my experience has come from helping family, friends, and neighbors with their pets when they need someone they can trust. I’ve taken care of pets with different personalities and energy levels, and I really enjoy getting to know what makes each one comfortable and happy. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, feed them, give them attention, or just keep them company, and I’m just as comfortable spending time with cats and making sure they get the care and attention they need. About: I have experience taking care of pets with varying attachment styles - ranging from anxious, young dogs to elderly, affectionate cats who need lots of attention! I am very adaptable and can match a pet's energy levels well. I appreciate taking the time to get to know a pet in order to build a comfortable bond. I am a local graduate student, I mostly have classes in the mornings during the week and currently have limited responsibilities outside of school, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. I like to learn pets' physical boundaries, so I ease into how I approach playing and petting with them. When I have cared for anxious pets who experience separation anxiety when away from their owners, I focus my care on maintaining a calm environment in the home while making sure they are fed and hydrated.

About: I've worked in multiple areas of animal care including breeding and puppy development, dog daycare, and veterinary care. I have experience caring for all different breeds and ages of dogs! I don't have much professional experience with cats, but I have lived with many cats throughout my life and am a huge cat lover! I do not have any pets myself as I recently lost my dog. So i am in serious need of some dog time! I am available any time after 2:00pm sunday-thursday and all day friday and saturday(: some days i am available earlier than that, typically sundays and mondays im available around 12:30-1:00pm. I am happy to accommodate any of your pet's needs! I can walk, play, just give love, whatever makes your baby feel the most enriched and happy. I know every dog and cat has their own specific needs and I'm very dedicated to that! I live in a small studio apartment. There is plenty of great space to take walks near my house (i live right on the bike trail) but i do not have a fenced in yard. About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. My journey started with pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family in middle school and grew to volunteering at local animal shelters and working in a boarding kennel to currently working as a vet assistant while at school, pursing a pre-veterinary science degree, giving me experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. At home I have a 14 year old beagle/boston terrier named Pepper who I just adore. I cannot wait to share my experience and love for animals with your pets while you are away :) As I am currently a junior pre-vet at UMass Amherst, my availability lies around my class schedule. I am available most evenings and weekends as well as most early mornings; however, my availability in the middle of the day is a little more limited. About: I’m young and active and love animals. I recently became a foster parent and taken care of 2 dogs and a cat before giving them away to good families.
