About: I have Joyfully shared my entire life with pets for 70 years now!! I speak Fluent Feline and Canine and have been a pet parent to dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, turtles and fish as a child and provided daycare for birds. About: I've worked in multiple areas of animal care including breeding and puppy development, dog daycare, and veterinary care. I have experience caring for all different breeds and ages of dogs! I don't have much professional experience with cats, but I have lived with many cats throughout my life and am a huge cat lover! I do not have any pets myself as I recently lost my dog. So i am in serious need of some dog time! I am available any time after 2:00pm sunday-thursday and all day friday and saturday(: some days i am available earlier than that, typically sundays and mondays im available around 12:30-1:00pm. I am happy to accommodate any of your pet's needs! I can walk, play, just give love, whatever makes your baby feel the most enriched and happy. I know every dog and cat has their own specific needs and I'm very dedicated to that! I live in a small studio apartment. There is plenty of great space to take walks near my house (i live right on the bike trail) but i do not have a fenced in yard. About: I have been the proud dog dad of Franklin, a rescue 15 year old terrier mix who suffers from separation anxiety, for over 10 years. More recently, I have cared for him through eye removal surgery as well as terminal joint and heart issues. As a result, I have experience giving oral, ocular and topical medications. I have this experience with other dogs as well, as I am always quick to volunteer for any opportunity to walk or babysit a friend or families dog - even going so far as to visit dogs rather than people at family weddings. About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

About: I have experience taking care of pets with varying attachment styles - ranging from anxious, young dogs to elderly, affectionate cats who need lots of attention! I am very adaptable and can match a pet's energy levels well. I appreciate taking the time to get to know a pet in order to build a comfortable bond. I am a local graduate student, I mostly have classes in the mornings during the week and currently have limited responsibilities outside of school, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. I like to learn pets' physical boundaries, so I ease into how I approach playing and petting with them. When I have cared for anxious pets who experience separation anxiety when away from their owners, I focus my care on maintaining a calm environment in the home while making sure they are fed and hydrated.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience. I’m very work-oriented, reliable, and people have told me I’m great with customer service. Neighbors, friends, and family often count on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I truly love every moment of it. As a full-time student, I’ve built a schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I also work at a doggy daycare in Avon, CT, so my work schedule usually varies throughout the week. I’m happy to communicate my availability ahead of time and work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works best for everyone. I’m generally more flexible on days I’m not working and can often accommodate evenings and weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Working at a doggy daycare has given me experience handling dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to their body language and routines and always make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise, attention, rest, food, and potty breaks. I also understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow each pet’s specific routine and their owner’s instructions.

After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. About: I’ve had many dogs and cats as pets and there have been medical issues I have learned to deal with such as asthma, arthritis injections and heart murmurs. I have also worked at vet clinics for summer jobs! I am currently a full time student as UMASS Amherst. Most of my availability will be on weekends but I can also do weekday evenings. I will not be in MA during holidays since I go home to my family. I can drop-in to feed animals or I can spend some time with the animals. I am happy to go for walks or if the animals prefer to stay inside, I can bring some work to do while I am there.

About: It’s so hard to be away from your pup but having friends come in to visit and play makes the day feel not so long. I have had dogs my whole life. I just love their individual personalities. I typically work Monday through Friday and can pop in for an early morning visit and breakfast or stop by for a longer visit and dinner after work. My schedule is flexible so running over midway is possible if necessary. Weekends are generally wide open. I would like to work with you to meet your needs. I have 2 pups and 3 cats at home that love extra attention, playing and quiet snuggles. Nice long walks or a trip to the dog park could be a fun adventure. For cats, some scratches along the jaw line or kitty fishing can be an engaging way to interact.
