About: I teach animal science. I'm am used to all species and love taking dogs for walkies! I'm also a big cat lover and like to spend time with cats no matter how shy or outgoing. I work full time but I have a flexible schedule around my class time. I am an early riser and love a good evening stroll. I like to hike on my days off! As a dog owner I value communication, I will be sure to treat your pup or kitty as if it were my own and keep in touch with you, the owner.

Emma W.
“I've never seen anyone so attached to an animal as Emma was to her friends Bernese Mountain Dog. Nearly half her size she absolutely adored the thing, took him on walks, watched him during the day and was at his beck and call 24/7 when the pup would have sleepovers. Hire Emma!”

About: I’m currently an Animal Science major in school and I’ve had a lot of experience in different areas working with a variety of animals. I’ve interned for several vet hospitals and worked for two dog training companies (one for service dogs). I have a lot of experience handling daily care for many different breeds and ages and I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior. I have a maximum of 3 classes a day, some days only 2, which leaves me with plenty of time to help out and work. At the moment I am living in an apartment and am not intending on caring for any pets in my space. Hopefully in the future this could change!

Emily W.
“Emily is incredibly responsible and amazing with my Chihuahua-Corgi. Her experience working at a vet's office is a plus. What I found so great about Emily is that she was very thoughtful in figuring out how to make my one-person dog acclimate to her; she really considered his specific behaviors and worked with me on a plan. Chincho now can't wait to see her. Also part of the package is that she is very responsive. I can't recommend Emily highly enough.”

Anna Z.
“I highly recommend Anna! She has been caring for our pets for the past several years in our home when we are away on vacation. She is reliable, responsible, experienced and a true animal lover. We leave 2 dogs and a cat in her care and it is always so reassuring to know that they are so well cared.for (and loved!) when we are away.”

Annika D.

“We have recently hired Annika to walk our 8 month old boxer. She is very interactive with our boy and truly spends some quality time while with him. Koda definitely looks forward to her visits and we would definitely recommend Annika without any hesitation!”

Aliya C.
“I’ve known Aliya forever now, and she absolutely loves animals. She’s been pet sitting on her own for awhile now, but would love to join the River Company. I’ve watched her get deep into studying the different kinds of dogs, and what their care requirements are. She’s also watched my dogs for me a couple times, and was interacting with them constantly, making sure they were kept busy and didn’t have the chance to grow bored.”

Everette S.

“I have known Everette for the past few years and they are a very warm, kind and loving person. Along with taking care of and owning a dog, Everette worked as a professional dog walker. Everette is responsible with the dogs they care for by attending to their needs (food, water, bathroom) and taking them on walks that fit the dogs' needs/ability level. You can trust Everette to love your dog as their own and provide the best care!”

Amad E.
“Amad obviously adored my pet and she seemed to be very happy with him. I was gone for over a week and everything was fine when I got home.”

Sorel G.
“Sorel did an outstanding job taking care of our finicky/beloved cat Petunia. Sorel followed all our (finicky) instructions for Petunia's care and was sincerely kind and affectionate as well. When we returned after some 10 days absence Petunia seemed as calm and happy as when we left. Sorel is a skilled pet-sitter and we recommend her most highly.”

Grace R.
“Grace has loved animals her entire life! Growing up on a farm, Grace has taken care of all the animals before school and after school, rain or shine, summer heat or cold winter months...every day. She enjoys the farm life and enjoys every single pet she has owned. Those pets include: horses, mini donkey, goats, large dogs, cats/kittens, rabbits, fish, squirrel, wildlife that hangs around the house and a lemur. Grace has a big heart and she is a delight to be around and work with. Grace also volunteers in the community, is on the National Honor Society, she is active in dance and is a 2020 SENIOR!”

Lukas R.
“I've known Lukas for many years and trust him 100% with my pets. He's responsible, communicative, and pets love him. My dog doesn't like a lot of people but was always comfortable with Lukas!”

Jonathan B.
“Jonathan and my dog Moose are best friends. He has taken great care of Moose. Jonathan is a good communicator and very dependable. Moose always has the best time with him!”

Hillaree H.

“Hillaree was wonderful! She was quick to respond, easy to talk to and the dogs liked her (we have 3 so we have a pack to please). She walked our two larger young dogs like a pro and they enjoyed her company. Hillaree has an excellent understanding of dogs, she is conscientious and she is clearly a hard working lady. We will be booking again!”

Aislyn J.
“If you want someone who will completely love your pets as well as understand what they need, choose Aislyn! They have years of experience with multiple cats and dogs, including working sled dogs. They are completely devoted to animals and seem to understand what they are thinking and feeling. Aislyn will also be responsible and communicate with you when they care for your furry family.”

About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.
