I was finally able to adopt my very own pup a little over a year ago and have been obsessed with him ever since. We have a small fenced in backyard and live extremely close to the bike path and park! Lots of walks and exploring. I am looking to make pet care my full time career. I am aiming to be available daily for all types of care. Walking, daycare as well as overnight sleepovers! I have a small fenced in back yard and a cozy ranch style home. No stairs, for those pups who have a hard time getting around. I take daily morning walks with my guy around the park and have many other spots we visit on the weekends. Couches, beds, chairs, none of those are off limits. Your pet can be comfortable! “Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. “Great for cats and dogs with special needs or who require extra care. You won't regret it! This was Bean's second stay with Alexis. Last time it was just a long weekend and this time a full week. I was anxious about leaving her for so long, but I shouldn't have worried for a second, especially after Alexis did such a great job the first time. Alexis is fantastic - you'll get daily photos and she's quick to respond to Rover messages. Bean looked happy and spoiled in every picture I got - which is saying something because she can be a grumpy little cat. Bean is special needs (a neurological condition with mobility issues) and I trust Alexis completely to keep her safe and make sure she gets her medications. Her place is one floor which means no stairs (except for the flight up to her place) which was great for Bean. My lengthy instructions didn't phase Alexis and she handled it all like a pro (because she is!). Her little dogs are sweet and well-behaved. I'm not worried about Bean around them in the slightest - she lives with a much larger dog who she pushes around so these two didn't seem to phase her. Alexis clearly loves animals and will do everything she can to make sure your baby is comfortable, happy, and safe during their stay with her. I will be booking her again and again! About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.

About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: I've worked in multiple areas of animal care including breeding and puppy development, dog daycare, and veterinary care. I have experience caring for all different breeds and ages of dogs! I don't have much professional experience with cats, but I have lived with many cats throughout my life and am a huge cat lover! I do not have any pets myself as I recently lost my dog. So i am in serious need of some dog time! I am available any time after 2:00pm sunday-thursday and all day friday and saturday(: some days i am available earlier than that, typically sundays and mondays im available around 12:30-1:00pm. I am happy to accommodate any of your pet's needs! I can walk, play, just give love, whatever makes your baby feel the most enriched and happy. I know every dog and cat has their own specific needs and I'm very dedicated to that! I live in a small studio apartment. There is plenty of great space to take walks near my house (i live right on the bike trail) but i do not have a fenced in yard. About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.

Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays!
