I’ve raised and trained my own four dogs from 8 weeks old, including Canine Good Citizen-level training, and have safely handled dogs in therapeutic environments. I currently offer pet sitting on a selective basis so I can provide focused, dependable care and maintain consistent routines for each pet. I require a meet and greet initial assessment for you to meet me and for me to assess your dog. Best fit will be with dogs who enjoy the company of my dog Coco (a Shih Tzu Dauchshund mix) but evening visits, weekends, vacation coverage, and overnight care are fine for dogs that perfer human company. I keep my service area manageable to ensure reliable communication, punctual visits, and attentive care for every animal. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and household preferences, and I communicate reliably with updates and photos.

About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. About: I’ve worked with animals for 10 years, starting as a dog groomer and day-care worker! I have done house and animal care for the last seven years as a way to hang out with pets while I can’t have my dog with me. I am happy with all breeds and ages of animals, and love to be active and outside so if your dog loves a good walk I will be their friend! I have just graduated from Smith (MSc) and am working as a swim coach. This is typically 6-9pm on weeknights but we are currently on a break! My schedule is flexible and I can often wfh during the day. I am happy to follow your guidelines based on what your pet and home needs are. I can’t accept animals at my house. About: I've worked in multiple areas of animal care including breeding and puppy development, dog daycare, and veterinary care. I have experience caring for all different breeds and ages of dogs! I don't have much professional experience with cats, but I have lived with many cats throughout my life and am a huge cat lover! I do not have any pets myself as I recently lost my dog. So i am in serious need of some dog time! I am available any time after 2:00pm sunday-thursday and all day friday and saturday(: some days i am available earlier than that, typically sundays and mondays im available around 12:30-1:00pm. I am happy to accommodate any of your pet's needs! I can walk, play, just give love, whatever makes your baby feel the most enriched and happy. I know every dog and cat has their own specific needs and I'm very dedicated to that! I live in a small studio apartment. There is plenty of great space to take walks near my house (i live right on the bike trail) but i do not have a fenced in yard. About: I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. About: Hello my name is Nieves, I have been a devoted animal lover my whole life! I enjoy spending time with animals, and lived with my own beloved dog Roscoe Burgers, until he passed in the fall. I believe every animal is unique and special, and worth getting to know. I am looking to spend time with your furry loved ones, be it going on a walk, or give you complete peace of mind while you are away from home. I am a true animal lover, and can't wait to meet you and your little sweetums. I work from home 3 of the 5 days I work, and enjoy going on walks in the immediate area. I walk before I got to work, on my lunch break, and after work. This is a habit I developed with my beloved pooch, and would be happy to continue with your pup on the leash. I also am happy to provide check-ins, or stays as your pet sitting needs ebb and flow. I am pretty structured, and can stick to the plan, or instructions that you lay out for me. My own dog was sick for almost 2 years near the end of his life, so I am familiar with administering medications, and needing to stick to a stricter timeline as needed.
