While I work full-time, I have the flexibility of working from home — which means I can easily step away throughout the day to tend to your pet's needs. I'm available for check-ins and care during the early morning, midday, and evening, and if your pet thrives on consistent company, I'm happy to work out of your home so they're never left alone for long. About: I have always loved and lived with pets. Growing up we had multiple cats and a dog or two at any given time. In high school, I convinced my mom to foster a litter of kittens for our local humane society and we ended up caring for litters and kittens and puppies as well as seniors and sickly dogs for years to come. Right out of college I adopted my cat, and she has been my constant companion ever since. A decade later I rescued a very reactive dog and worked for 5 years on his reactivity. We made great improvements together! If you need someone to walk your reactive dog during the day, I’m your gal! I’d also love to care for your chill, non-reactive dog when you go out of town. I have a very active toddler, so I can only board dogs who are reliably safe around small children. I am available Monday-Thursday from 9-3 for drop ins and dog walks, with some flexible availability on the weekends too. Available for boarding as well this winter I have a large fenced portion of my back yard, as well as easy access to the bike path. We have some baby gates in our house, and more in storage, if that makes sense to make your pets comfortable.

About: I've taken care of and watched animals for practically my entire life, but the first time I had ever watched animals by myself was when I was around 10. I frequently watch and let my aunt's dogs out and have a cat of my own. I hope to have many animals someday! I am currently going to school full-time, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I will have plenty of time to hang out with your animal! I currently have a cat, so if your animal has an aversion to cats, I recommend booking someone else! My cat does not like other cats, but he has his own area, so they will not interact if I watch your cat in my home. If I pet sit at your home, I am accommodating to anything you need, whether staying over or just popping in to let them out!

About: Not available in the Seattle area after Jan 26. I have been caring for large dogs as part of my family since I was a child. Now, I have multiple clients for whom I provide dog-sitting services. I have experience looking after a wide range of dogs, from big to small and of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered at Family Dog Rescue in San Francisco. More recently, I spent some time at Emerald City Pet Rescue, where I cared for small dogs and cats. Currently, I am responsible for the week-long care of a senior Labrador (for the past 4 years), and I help another household with hunting dog mixed breeds. I am also capable of handling both low-energy and high-energy dogs. I am currently on winter break until late January and have high availability. I am also willing to take care of people's pets when I am back home for other breaks and near my university (Amherst, MA) I always make sure to give pets their own time to adjust to me and their environment. I always want them to feel comfortable and safe, especially in their own home. If any kinds of issues come up, I will always make sure to notify the owner.
