About: I grew up on a farm and always had dogs! Right now I have three dogs, and, as a teacher I have summers off. I’d love to spend my break taking care of your pups! As a teacher, I have the whole summer off. I’d be happy to take your dogs on walks whether quick or long. During the school year, if the timing is right, I would be happy to walk or watch your pets on weekends, evenings or breaks. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, reactive dogs, puppies and seniors. I love to take dogs on hikes, a stroll around the neighborhood, or playing in the yard. Growing up with livestock as well, I am responsible, calm in emergencies, and prioritize animals safety and well-being.

About: I have been the proud dog dad of Franklin, a rescue 15 year old terrier mix who suffers from separation anxiety, for over 10 years. More recently, I have cared for him through eye removal surgery as well as terminal joint and heart issues. As a result, I have experience giving oral, ocular and topical medications. I have this experience with other dogs as well, as I am always quick to volunteer for any opportunity to walk or babysit a friend or families dog - even going so far as to visit dogs rather than people at family weddings. About: I’ve had pets since childhood and know how to take care of them well, from dogs to guinea pigs I have had to care for multiple different types of animals and will always care for them as my own. I have pet sat both during the day and overnight for friends, family, and people outside of my everyday life, each time caring for the animal with the utmost care. I am currently working part time. I am very reliable and will make sure your pets get the opportunity to be active as much as possible and as much as they need. I will make sure to listen and pay close attention to what rules and behaviors follow to keep the pet safe in the home, and I will make sure not to let the animals out of my sight when letting them outside if needed.

About: I sincerely LOVE getting to know each individual dog's personality (quirks and all!) and learning about what makes them happiest. I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). I create a warm, nurturing and happy environment for my precious furry friends to thrive. About: The family for my last petsit said this: "[Our dog] had nothing but wonderful things to say about you, she was very happy when we got home, that means she didn't feel upset at all. Yay!!! Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe. About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. I’ve had a ton of fun with the pets I've met so far, and I would love to meet some more furry friends and owners soon! I currently work from home full time in the healthcare industry. I am looking to offer sitting services in my free time, but can likely be flexible with my schedule. Safety for all pets is my biggest priority, whether they are my own or yours. I’m open to any information that would make your pets feel more comfortable, and would love to answer any questions during a meet and greet before a service.

About: I love animals of all types, I have 3 dogs myself and have animals my whole life. I used to volunteer at a humane society. I believe in trying to give animals the best life possible. I will make your pet fit into my schedule multiple times a day. I work full time but can schedule a head of time to make sure all of your pets needs are fulfilled. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for my 3 dogs. I walk them at a minimum one time a day (depending on the weather) and also make sure I make time to play with them as well.

About: *listed experience is for dogs, as cats seem to have their own experience area* I love dogs, cats, (guinea pigs, bunnies, and hedgehogs too—though I don't think that's an option here). I grew up with 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, and chickens. I have lived with cats and small dogs multiple times (housemates), and I have petsitted for friends and neighbors throughout my life. I have limited experience with walking dogs (I grew up with cats) but have loads of previous and current experience playing with dogs (family and friends). In college I walked and played with greyhounds at a rescue for racing greyhounds, and I also worked for a little bit at an animal shelter. I'd like to use this opportunity to figure out which type of dog I'd like to adopt someday. For now, as a new sitter on here, I'd be most comfortable doing drop in and play visits with cats and dogs of all sizes, and walking dogs of medium size or less. I've been told I have a calm energy when meeting animals, and the three dogs my friends currently own seem to gravitate towards me. I also like playing tug, throwing sticks, and having a lap dog come to me for rubs. I work at a school and have off in the summer. I have a flexible schedule in the summer aside from a few small trips. My plan is to update my schedule frequently to keep up with my availability. When I am back at work, I will have to revamp my schedule. As for right now, I would prefer to go to the pet's home, as mine is not currently pet appropriate (plants and size). If I come to know a cat and owner well, I would adjust and put the plants in a closed room so the kitty could safely roam the rest of the house. At a pet's house, I would love a run down of their favorite toys, when treats are allowed to be given, etc. I love taking photos already, so would absolutely love to photograph your dog or cat being cute and fun, and send those as an update.

About: My passion for caring started with dolls and stuffed animals, but has grown from that to animals and children. I've had experience taking care of many animals in the past (turtles, bunnies, cats, and dogs) and have extended my experience with animals to outside the home doing volunteer work. I'm currently enrolled in college taking Early Childhood Education classes and love to fill up my free time by taking care of animals! People are often surprised by how comfortable their pets are with me, even pets who don't normally approach new people. I've studied cat body language to be able to better care for my two cats. About: I’ve spent over a decade working with animals, starting in Birmingham, Alabama, where I rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed dogs through a bully breed rescue. I’ve also rescued and socialized cats and kittens, rehoming entire families. I currently have an active profile with Trusted House Sitters that has several five star reviews. After moving to New England, I worked at a cat hospice and later as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital. I’ve always had animals since I was a kid—especially cats—and I’ve also cared for reptiles, small pets like hamsters, and even fish. I’ve lived in many homes over the years and have often housesat for friends and family, so I’m comfortable caring for both pets and the spaces they love. I even have experience as a house cleaner and organizer and believe in leaving spaces better than I found them. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I work part-time as a cheer coach a couple of times a week and occasionally help with our family business, but my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to be available most days for quality time, pet visits, walks, and check-ins. About: I have pet sat cats and dogs for the last 7 years, and am very attentive to individual needs. Having grown up with a cat myself and taking care of my sisters dog definitely set me up for successful pet care. I work part time currently so am often available up to 2 days during the week and often one weekend day to care for your pets! I often let the pets lead me at first when I enter their environment. I want them to feel safe and comfortable, and am very patient when dealing with more anxious or defensive pets.

About: I am an animal science student at UConn and currently ride on their equestrian team. I have trained my own two dogs while learning from a professional trainer and now I train and sell horses along with house sitting dogs and cats here and there. I am available most days to walk, run, or visit your cat or pup until I go back to college. I am currently not working another job so my schedule is open. I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting before I came to college and during the summer. I have my own two dogs back home that are part of our family and a cat! About: I've been house and pet sitting for ten years plus, besides that I've been an owner of many dogs and cats. There is nothing that makes me happier than the well-being of them. When you choose me for the care of your fur babies, they'll be taken care of to the maximum comfort and standard. I'm flexible in that I work remotely... So i huge amount of the time i will be around to cater to your pets. And also will be able to walk them often and keep them stimulated I'll make sure their safety and the environment they're in are safe and nurturing. About: I was blessed with a feline friend at the age of 2. Although I do not remember all of our times together, she has been by my side through all of life's up's and down's. We have even experienced the responsibility of sharing our home with 2 more companions: a Maltese and a Chihuahua! It is quite a random pool of different beings! Nevertheless, we all seem to get along. I do all I can to ensure their well being is top notch. You really grow a love for your companion(s) and it's hard to not care for them. I am full time and have no restrictions to my schedule. I am available as early as 6:00am and can accommodate appointments during sundown. I am easy to communicate with and straightforward with negotiations. It is a dogs fantasy: a large neighborhood with quiet streets to explore, 2 nearby parks to frolic and play, with a dog park frequently visited by other furry friends and their owners.
