“Josie loves dogs and took great care of our Pip. The family made Pip feel good about spending the weekend with them and seemed to love her, even forgiving her for getting food off the counter. 😬 we feel fortunate to have found them.”

“I was very nervous about the prospect of leaving Naki with anyone but a relative, especially since I haven't used Rover for any of their services. However, once I got to know Patti, my anxiety instantly went away. Her calm and kind demeanor brought me comfort as I knew Naki would be in good hands. Naki was with Patti for a weekend, and she would send me updates every couple of hours with pictures of him doing various activities. I could tell Naki was completely relaxed and comfortable during his stay. Patti genuinely loves animals and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you for everything, Patti.”

“Heidi is such a wonderful pet sitter. We were so fortunate she was able to take our wonderful senior rescue pup for a week. My dog is a love, but takes time to warm up to people and Heidi gave him so much grace and set him up for success. He was sick one day while in her care and I so appreciated her non alarmist, calm caring for him and frequent updates. Sometimes when we get our pup back from away stays he's notably stressed. I think he actually came home calmer than ever from his stay-cation with Heidi. We hope she never stops pet sitting.”

“Karl is excellent, and his care of my doggie pogo was unique in that pogo had a large secure fenced in yard to play in, and Karl has his own doggies who get along well with other doggies. And our puppy got to sleep on the bed just as he does at home with us. I trust Carl. This was a doggy vacation for Pogo rather than dog ‘boarding’”

“I booked Rachel last minute fully expecting for her to not respond or say she was available and she responded within minutes for my last second request. She and her family took excellent care of Hank and sent me several pictures and updates through out. 10/10. Very happy to have found someone trust worthy i can leave my dog with and have no worries without feeling like i am burdening friends or family.”

“Gabi was a phenomenal host to our 11 year-old dog. She took her for multiple daily walks, sent photos, and kept us informed of our pet’s well-being. Gabi was very thorough throughout the entire process, from taking time to meet our dog ahead of the three-day stay, to sending communications us throughout the weekend. We were lucky to find Gabi!”

“Excellent care, as always! Megan is awesome - walkies, play time, potty break, nappies and bedtime - Jackson seems to love to stay with Megan and her other fur babies. I won’t trust my dog to anyone but Megan.”

About: Calm, experienced animal care provider in Northampton with years of hands-on experience around animals and therapeutic riding programs. I’ve raised and trained my own four dogs from 8 weeks old, including Canine Good Citizen-level training, and have safely handled dogs in therapeutic environments. I offer dependable, thoughtful care focused on safety, routine, communication, and helping pets feel secure. I currently offer pet sitting on a selective basis so I can provide focused, dependable care and maintain consistent routines for each pet. I require a meet and greet initial assessment for you to meet me and for me to assess your dog. Best fit will be with dogs who enjoy the company of my dog Coco (a Shih Tzu Dauchshund mix) but evening visits, weekends, vacation coverage, and overnight care are fine for dogs that perfer human company. I keep my service area manageable to ensure reliable communication, punctual visits, and attentive care for every animal. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and household preferences, and I communicate reliably with updates and photos.
“I booked sort of last minute and wasn't able to make a meet and greet happen (though Abigale kindly offered) and I felt totally comfortable dropping my Bernie off. I got plenty of updates while away and plan to use them again! Bernie was well cared for! And their home is lovely! Thank you!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Caitlin and the care she provided for Mocha. From the moment I dropped her off, I felt completely at ease. Caitlin and her family are genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, her children were especially sweet and gentle, which meant so much to me given that Mocha is an older dog. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates, including photos and videos, and it was clear that Mocha was not only well cared for but truly happy and loved. That level of communication and reassurance made all the difference. As someone who was initially very hesitant about using an app to find a dog sitter, I feel incredibly lucky to have found Caitlin. She followed every instruction, treated Mocha with such care and compassion, and went above and beyond in every way. I am beyond grateful and would absolutely trust her again. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Chris is the perfect dog sitting. She was caring and intuitive to Charlotte’s needs. Charlotte’s care was like a doggie vacation. She had walks, playtime and a new friend to play with. Charlotte was made to feel comfortable within Chris’ home. Also, I enjoyed glimpses of her visit via photos/ videos. It was a great experience. Thank you, Chris”

“I needed a last minute boarding for my dog Enzo, as my family and I were going out of town. I found sandra on rover and she was available. We met the morning we drop of our dog Enzo. Sandra’s pleasant personality and lovely home gave me a sense of comfort and that my dog Enzo was gonna be good taken care of. she took really good care of Enzo, sent me pictures and video and I knew Enzo was confortable and happy . I really recommend Sandra and will use her service again for future boarding. Thank you so much Sandra ,”

“Kim is a truly amazing pet sitter! This was my second time leaving my dog with her, and he had a fantastic time. Kim is responsible, professional, caring, responsive, and flexible. She takes great care of my family’s beloved dog and all the pets that stay with her. Highly recommend!!”

About: In the past I have offered pet sitting services to friends and family, as well as volunteering at local animals shelters (Dakin and JM Animal Training and Rescue) and working for Smith Equestrian. I am currently interning with a service dog trainer from JM Animal Training and Rescue who uses a positive reinforcement based model of training. I find this brings out the best results in animals, and gives humans an opportunity to learn what their dog reacts to and enjoys most. I would like to learn from you – the parents – about your furbabies behaviors, triggers and favorite activities. My goal is to provide you and your kiddos a positive experience in a safe and fun environment. I am available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday for dog walks and drop in visits. I am available most weekends for pet sitting as well! I am looking for regulars who can rely on me throughout the week, and am happy to fill in last minute on weekends. I prefer to walk your dogs on trails, at dog parks, or other areas that are pet friendly. As long as your pup is friendly with others (animals and humans included) we can go on all sorts of adventures! If your furbaby prefers some alone time I'm happy to accommodate that as well. I'm available in the afternoon after 11am on Weekdays so I can drop in to walk and or check in on your furbabies. I also am Available on Weekends especially for house sitting. If you have any particular ways in which your kiddos are taken care of by you the parent, I'm happy to learn what those routines are.
“Lindsey is a superstar. She has a great space for active breeds that need to be outside and moving and she handles whatever is thrown at her with grace! You can be absolutely assured that your pets will be well taken care of.”

“We boarded our dog, Guinness, with Heather and Norman for two days, and they were absolutely wonderful! Heather and Norman were sweet and took excellent care of Guinness. They took him for walks and even sent us photos. It was clear that Guinness and their dog, Zeus, got along so well and had a great time playing together. Now that he's home, Guinness seems sad and misses Zeus. We will definitely use Heather and Norman's services again. Highly recommended!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Leeds
We are extremely happy with the care and attention Jodi gave our 11-year old terrier mix, Dasher. Jodi offered us a meet and greet before our vacation dates that put us at ease right away. Dasher checked out her home with his nose while reviewed his daily routines, medicines and likes/dislikes. Jodi asked great questions that showed us that she truly loves dogs and gets their individual personality quirks. Dasher took to her quickly and enjoyed ear rubs during our meeting. We received at least one message and photo of Dasher from Jodi each day he was in her care. He clearly looked happy and comfortable, and got lap time with Jodi as well as walks and supervised yard time. We're already booked to have Jodi care for Dasher again soon. Highly recommend!
