Possibly due to construction noises which were expected to be gone before Miss Ruby’s visit. It changed my perspective from paying for Dogcare to paying to have Miss Ruby share her joy with Josie and Jessica and their family. ???”

Normally my dog is an anxious mess after not seeing me for even a few hours, so he must have felt safe and been extremely well cared-for. “Alexio was a wonderful overnight carer for our nervous 12 year old Yorkie. He asked pertinent questions about our dog so he could provide a comforting and familiar environment: he had good ideas about how to cope with peculiarities of our particular dog. Alexio took our dog out for plenty of walks, which he really enjoys, providing sufficient opportunities for relief; he also stuck to the medicine schedule ensuring that our dog's health was maintained. Alexio managed giving a variety of medications and eye drops, which can be tricky with an unfamiliar pet. We received plenty of photographs documenting how our dog was doing, which was comforting. When we picked up our dog he was calm and happy. We'll certainly ask Alexio to care for our dog in the future!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover and pet owner since I was 5 years old! Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals and friends and family have always trusted me with their pets because they know how much I genuinely love animals. My experience has a wide range. I grew up training my puppy and nurturing my kittens until they were cats, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, personalities, and needs. I’ve also cared for my pregnant cat and her four kittens, giving me experience with both everyday pet care and more hands-on responsibilities. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’m happy to provide the same patience, attention, and care I’ve always given my own animals! I’m a full-time college student, but I am extremely flexible! With short days of classes my afternoons and evenings are wide open! I’m open to overnight and early morning care as well! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow all feeding, medication, walking, playtime, and bathroom instructions carefully and make sure they always have fresh water and a clean environment. I love giving pets plenty of attention and companionship, while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic and more independent pets, and I’ll take the time to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I also believe communication is important! I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. My goal is to treat every pet like one of my own and leave your home just as I found it.

About: Feeding, entertaining, and walking pets. Friends and family have trusted me in caring for their pets like my own when needed. I have had pets of all kinds growing up and have a passion for caring for dogs, cats and small animals such as guinea pigs. I currently work full remote and have flexibility to add in drop ins during the work day. I also have availability during weekends if you’re taking a trip, for multiple drop ins a day as needed. I currently have two cats who are my best friends. I have grown up around dogs and have dog sat for many years for friends and family. Walking and pop ins are the best part of my day.

“Karen and family were awesome with Alibi, our 15 months old Australian Shepherd. Lots of personal attention, and a great large fenced yard for the dogs to chase each other around. Karen’s whole family welcomed Alibi into their home and she really connected with their dog Lily. All in all, the stay was great and we will certainly be using Karen’s services again!”
