About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. My journey started with pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family in middle school and grew to volunteering at local animal shelters and working in a boarding kennel to currently working as a vet assistant while at school, pursing a pre-veterinary science degree, giving me experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. At home I have a 14 year old beagle/boston terrier named Pepper who I just adore. I cannot wait to share my experience and love for animals with your pets while you are away :) As I am currently a junior pre-vet at UMass Amherst, my availability lies around my class schedule. I am available most evenings and weekends as well as most early mornings; however, my availability in the middle of the day is a little more limited. Feel free to reach out with times you were looking for, and I'd love to see if I can make it work! I understand that it can be strange for our pets when a new person comes in the house, so I encourage owners to reach out to schedule a meet and greet so I can meet your four legged friends before you are gone, making the process less stressful for everyone involved.

About: Growing up, my family dog was epileptic and required a lot of serious attention. Since then, I have watched dogs and cats for weeks during friends and family’s vacations. I currently work a flexible schedule so I can be mostly available to walk your dogs I would just need a heads up on timing! I do attend school so my availability will be changing once the year begins. I can make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. I can also make sure they get enough exercise as I love to walk and run!
About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I love walks with dogs, snuggles with them, and everything else! Your dog will always be well cared for with me! I’m currently in University, so during the week I have a schedule to work around. However I am available most evenings and I can let dogs out around lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays, and fridays I am available after one. I can do weeknight homestays since I have a car. About: I have had dogs all my life, all of which were rescues, so they all had their little quirks. I've spent time with them throughout the training process into adulthood so I'm pretty well versed when it comes to all different types of dogs. I love them all. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
