“Natalie was great! Communicated with us throughout, sent lots of pictures, and wrote thoughtful, entertaining updates for each visit. We hope Natalie will be available next time our cats need a sitter!”

“Thanks so much Catherine, you are the best. We could tell when we got home that the kitties had been well cared for. They were happy and glad to see us. We appreciate everything you’ve done including watering the plants.”

“Thomas was absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough good things about how caring, reliable, and thoughtful he was while watching my cat, Cleo. From day one, he went above and beyond—always on time, super communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure Cleo was happy and comfortable. He sent detailed updates after every visit, along with the sweetest photos and videos (including Cleo’s purrs!). It was so clear that he really paid attention to her mood, eating, and habits, and that he truly cared about her well-being. He even noticed little things like adjusting the windows or temperature depending on the weather, refilled her feeder and litter proactively, and made thoughtful suggestions to keep everything running smoothly while I was away. Cleo clearly adored him—she looked so relaxed and content in every update. Knowing she was in such caring hands gave me complete peace of mind throughout my trip. Thomas didn’t just meet expectations; he exceeded them in every way. I feel really lucky to have found such a kind, trustworthy sitter. I’d recommend him to anyone without hesitation and will definitely ask for his help again the next time I travel.”

About: I grew up with a dog in my home and as I assisted my parents in taking care of her through the different stages of life, I've gained experience in puppy, middle-aged, and senior dog care. I also have experience in walking multiple (two maximum) dogs at once of different temperaments and ages! Currently, I am a small pet owner (2 guinea pigs!), so I do have an understanding of routine, food portioning, enrichment for pets, etc. For drop-in visits: I can come up to two times a day on Mon/Weds/Fri, and only once on Tues/Thurs. I can do early mornings (between 7-8:30 AM) on Mon/Weds/Fri or anytime after 6:00 PM on most weekdays. For Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available for most of the day! For walks: Walks will be 30 minutes in length. I can only fit in one walk per day, but can do it several times a week. Walks can be in the afternoon, most days after 6 PM Mon-Fri, or in the mornings on Mo/Weds/Fri between 7-8 AM For home visits, I'm happy to provide your pet with whatever they need (food, water, play time, etc.). For walks, I can walk up to two dogs at once. Please let me know if you have any normal routes you take, parks nearby, etc. I will also need to know how they interact with other dogs and people to make it the safest experience for your pets!

About: I’ve grown up caring for and loving animals my entire life! Taking care of animals comes naturally to me, I love walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and believe it or not cleaning up after them! While I don’t have any professional experience yet, my personal experience makes me qualified to deal with any challenges as I’ve been trusted in the past! Pet care fits into my daily life with me having to take care of my pets! I have two dogs, one is a german shepherd, the other is a Chiweenie. I love taking care of them and taking them for nice long walks! I care for my pets as well as my clients pets as I show them respect and I show them how much I care about their needs. I care for my own pets by feeding them, cleaning up after them, walking them, and if needed washing them. I would show these same principles to my clients dogs and animals as well
“So happy I found Daniel because I know June is getting all kinds of love, attention and mental and physical exercise. He’s a real pro and clearly loves what he does.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. While I’ve never owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for dogs belonging to family members, friends, and neighbors over the years and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’m comfortable with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, medication reminders, or gentle care, as well as more active and playful dogs who need attention, walks, and engagement. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m reliable, calm, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I recently graduated from UMass Amherst and currently have a flexible schedule this summer, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I’m available for cat drop-ins, feedings, playtime, and check-ins throughout the week and on weekends. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m organized, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, litter box care, behavior changes, and each pet’s personality and comfort level. I understand that some cats are social and playful while others need patience and quiet space, and I adapt my approach accordingly. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, detail-oriented, and reliable when it comes to instructions and communication. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away!
About: The neighborhood that I grew up in was filled with dog owners, so I have a lot of experience helping out my neighbors with pet care. I’ve had a variety of experiences in taking care of dogs— ranging from just taking them for a quick walk to housesitting so that a pet can have an overnight buddy! I also grew up in a very pet-filled household (dog, cats, bearded dragon, hamsters, fish), so I love to be surrounded by animals. I’m currently a university student, so, outside of my class periods, I have a pretty open schedule to care for a pet! I love to spend time outside, so I’m always eager to take a dog for a walk or play fetch! I grew up with a samoyed, so I have experience in caring for bigger, energetic dogs. My care style is pretty adaptive to the pet’s energy; I love to play with energetic pets, but I also love to take it slow and have a relaxed time with pets that are older or more timid.
About: Grew up with dogs and cats. Raised, trained, and explored with my own yellow lab for over a decade. Love bringing joy to canine/feline friends! Im currently a stay-at-home dad of preschoolers. I’m free most weekdays and weekends, depending on plans. Hours between 9am-2pm work best, although there is room for flexibility. Have a cozy house with a large back yard and am close to many great walk options, including Puffers Pond. I like to get a feel for individual animals and adjust care depending on needs. Many friends and family members have praised my calming approach when dealing with pet care/play.
About: As both a dog walker/sitter and a pet owner myself, I understand the needs and concerns you may have while away from your furr baby. I’m dedicated to keeping you updated throughout the process with photos, videos, and regular communication. My goal is to ensure your pet has the best time possible and to give you peace of mind, so you never have to worry. With two dogs and a bearded dragon of my own, I bring hands-on experience and a genuine love for animals. I enjoy playing with dogs and taking them on local fun trail adventures. My goal is to ensure every dog has a joyful and fulfilling experience. I’m available to pet sit on weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, providing reliable care to your furry friend’s needs. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities! I’m available most of the time and willing to work around your schedule. Just let me know your specific needs, and I’ll do my best to accommodate them, ensuring both you and your pet have a smooth and stress free experience. I have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your needs, currently live in an apartment and can provide 3-4 potty breaks throughout the day, along with 2 daily walks.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs. Sizes varied from small to big. I love all animals especially dogs. I’m a senior college student at Umass looking to spend my extra time with animals! I’m currently a full time student finishing up my psychology degree. My weekends are normally free and so are my evenings I like to be outside and go on walks so I feel this is a great opportunity to spend more time outside. I live in an apartment off campus. Unfortunately I will not be able to have any animals at my house but I am more than willing to be at yours.
About: I've worked with a variety of dogs, cats and exotic animals since I was a teenager. From walking and caring for Pittbulls, Labradors to teacup dogs. I've also cared for my own German Shepard from childhood. I currently care for an elderly kitty and do my best to minimize his hip pain and care for his ear irriation with vet recommendation ear drops. My schedule is flexible due to my work in freelancing, I am available almost all hours as long as I am given a 24-48 hours heads up. I will cater my services to your pets needs ensuring they are getting the most while you are away. I understand that every pet is different and will have specific needs. Whether that be actively playing or walking your energetic dog until they are tuckered out for the evening or ensuring your senior dog is able to enjoy his walk at a slow leisure pace and hang out with them for however long is needed to make sure they aren't lonely. I read instructions carefully to make sure pill doses are correctly given at the times needed, enclosures are properly lit and cleaned, and food is given correctly. I am open to pets that have specific needs.
“Dorjee was everything we could ask for in a sitter. She was reliable, smart, conscientious, and Olive adored her. We would most definitely hire her again. Thanks Dorjee!”

About: I’m an out of state student from Texas looking for extra work! I’m hardworking, reliable, and empathetic- when I commit to a job, you can count on me consistently. I’ve done lots of pet sitting/dog walking throughout western MA, and I’m experienced with following specific care routines for pets with health concerns. I have two dogs at home, so I truly understand the importance of dependable care and regular communication! I am currently a student, so I’ve found pet sitting/dog walking to work great for my routine. My on campus job is in short shifts, so I wouldn’t need to be away for extended periods of time if I am pet sitting. I find it very important that even if the owners are away and their pets are very active, they should remain active and stick to their routines. Making sure they’re comfortable is the most important thing, especially when their family isn’t home!
North Amherst cat parents share their Rover experiences
Catherine is amazing. Lovely person, completely reliable, and great communicator, giving detailed updates and sending many photos with each visit. She also went above and beyond to care for our cat. She spent extra time with him, knowing he was lonely, and tried to engage him in different ways. I’m pretty sure he misses her!

Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and made sure my cat always had fresh water, a clean litter box, and plenty of care. It gave me real peace of mind knowing everything was taken care of. I’d absolutely recommend her and would be happy to have her help again in the future.

Really great sitter and person. We had to go away last minute with an uncertain return date and one of the pets was sick, but Athena took care of everyone incredibly, was attentive to details, patient with our questions, and communicated updates throughout. We'll definitely book her again.

Jeremy was awesome. It was my first time using Rover, just after moving to a new home, and Jeremy was patient and attentive to my nervous cat who was still getting used to a new setting. He was communicative and professional, respectful of my home, and I highly recommend him to anyone interested!

Sophia took such great care of our two cats while we were away. She was attentive, thoughtful, and clearly connected with them—they were calm and content when we returned.
