About: I've worked with a variety of dogs, cats and exotic animals since I was a teenager. From walking and caring for Pittbulls, Labradors to teacup dogs. I've also cared for my own German Shepard from childhood. I currently care for an elderly kitty and do my best to minimize his hip pain and care for his ear irriation with vet recommendation ear drops. My schedule is flexible due to my work in freelancing, I am available almost all hours as long as I am given a 24-48 hours heads up. I will cater my services to your pets needs ensuring they are getting the most while you are away. I understand that every pet is different and will have specific needs. Whether that be actively playing or walking your energetic dog until they are tuckered out for the evening or ensuring your senior dog is able to enjoy his walk at a slow leisure pace and hang out with them for however long is needed to make sure they aren't lonely. I read instructions carefully to make sure pill doses are correctly given at the times needed, enclosures are properly lit and cleaned, and food is given correctly. I am open to pets that have specific needs.

About: I am an active 20 something animal loving gal. Throughout college, I dog walked and house sat very regularly. Now I take on more long term house sitting gigs, but I am open to new drop in/dog walking clients. I am comfortable and have experience with all indoor animals (big and small) and some outdoor critters (think chickens, goats, etc.). I have familiar and comfortable with the needs of puppies and older dogs, I have experience taking care of both. Currently, I work part time so I an free throughout the day to visit your furry friends while you’re at work. Additionally, I don’t have many responsibilities at home (no fur babies or kiddos), so I have a generally flexible schedule for housesitting. I am comfortable caring for animals with any kind of needs. I am adamant about clear communication with owners to understand how to best care of their fur babies and keep them safe. About: My name is Rosa, and I have years of experience living with - and caring for - dogs and cats. Currently, I live with two wondrous cats: Wallula (5 years old) and Feygele (8 months old). I believe every creature has a unique personality and story that continues to unfold with each day. I find it an absolute delight and privilege to get to know your beloved creatures' personalities - their likes and dislikes, their curiosities and opinions, their daily rituals - and to support them in feeling safe and cared for while you are away. I am an educator working in adult education during the academic year (September through May). During the academic year, I have the most flexibility for drop-in visits Friday-Monday throughout the day. That said, Tuesday-Thursday I am available before 8:30am and after 3:30pm for drop-in visits. June-August I have more availability. I would love to spend my time caring for your beloveds! I am unable to board pets at my home but I love doing drop-ins and will always treat your space respectfully and your pets' safety and well-being is number one priority.

I know the feeling all to well of needing to head out of town and allowing someone into your living space. I’m happy to help keep some semblance of routine and normalcy for your furry friend while you’re away! Please feel free to share their routine, and favorite things! I work full time in a medical office so I do not have the flexibility of leaving during the day. However I’m free on weekday evenings and the weekends are far more flexible! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong background in animal care and hands-on experience with a variety of animals. As a junior at UMass Amherst studying Biology Pre-Med and Animal Science Pre-Vet, I’ve worked with both household pets and larger farm animals, giving me a well-rounded understanding of their needs. I have experience administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness, and caring for both young and senior pets who require extra attention. I’ve worked at PetSmart as a Pets Hotel Associate, where I have cared for over one thousand different dogs and sixty cats. My academic knowledge and real-world experience allow me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care for every pet I watch. I am currently on summer break and am looking forward to taking care of your furry friends these next few months before I go back to working as a full-time student at UMass Amherst.
