“Rayna was amazing with our somewhat shy cat over the course of our 10 day vacation. She's a great communicator and accommodating. I will definitely book her again for our next trip.”

“Carlea agreed to care for our cats at the last minute when our cat care fell through while we were out of town. We really appreciated the pictures and regular communication while we were away. We came home to a tidy litter box and happy cats.”

“James was absolutely amazing! I would recommend him to anyone. He stayed in my home with my cat for over a week and sent regular updates with photos, and I could tell my cat was getting amazing care. I returned home to a happy and calm cat, the most I could ask for! James also left the house even cleaner and tidier than when I left it. Highly recommend James as a pet and house sitter!!”

“Iví was great with our shy cat, Juniper, who was happy and healthy after we returned from a week’s vacation. Iví was friendly, followed our requests, and was responsive to messages. We would absolutely book them again!”

“Lauren was amazing with my baby birds and cats!! I was so incredibly nervous to have someone watch over my baby parakeets while I was gone for a few days, and Lauren made me feel great about leaving them under her care. She did everything I asked of her, and sent me lovely photos and texts. Highly recommend Lauren for any pet care needs you may have--I'll definitely be hiring her again if I need another pet sitter!!”

“Thank you so much Kylee!! I know Bagheera definitely appreciated you feeding him, cleaning up, and giving him love (you can tell from the pictures lol) but I also did! You were so flexible for when I messed up the timing and making sure Baggie didn’t miss out on anything. Thank you and hope to rebook with you in the future!”

“Aly was amazing! So diligent and thorough, gave us frequent pictures, updates, and notes. This was our first time using a rover sitter and we are so impressed! Thoroughly professional and prompt, we can’t recommend Aly enough!”

“Bree was so awesome! She took such good care of our cat. I could tell he was well taken care of with tons of playtime and attention. All of Bree’s updates were thoughtful and filled with great pics. She even brought him a toy that he absolutely loved Christmas morning. Thanks so much, Bree!”
About: While I'm new to Rover, I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am passionate about offering the type of pet care I would want for my own animals. In addition to helping to care for my own pets, I volunteer at the local animal shelter weekly. I’ve worked for a dog trainer and ran the daycare there, where I worked with dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and various temperaments. My focus was ensuring productive and safe play for all daycare participants. I am a runner and hiker in my free time, and I am happily able to fulfill your high-energy dog's needs. I have experience working with fearful and reactive dogs and enjoy the process of allowing animals to open-up and trust on their own terms. I have the most experience with dogs, but I have recently adopted a cat and have quickly fallen in love with caring for him! I don't discriminate and would love to check in on any animals while you're away. My schedule is pretty flexible. I will work with you to make sure I can be available when your pets needs and plan the rest of my schedule around it. I try to care for your pets in your home just as you do. Each animal is different and I want to make the time you’re gone as stress-free and fun as possible! I use Rover for my own pets, and i know how stressful leaving your pets with someone can be. I will provide excellent care and daily updates.

“This is my fourth or fifth time having Lori look after my cat Finn, and I can never trust any other sitter but her. I always come home to a happy, healthy cat. Lori is always extremely communicative and sends the cutest pictures!”

“Lukas was absolutely wonderful with Hazel and KitKat. When I got home, even after a horrific rainstorm, they were happy and purring as if I'd never left. I cannot thank Lukas enough for giving my cats such good care. Not only do I highly recommend Lukas to watch your furry friends, I now have peace of mind to know that I have someone I can count on for future visits. Thank you so much!”

About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. I helped in her puppy training and have enjoyed all the previously mentioned activities with her as well. Many of my friends and extended family have also had dogs which I've enjoyed playing with and caring for. During my undergrad career, I petsat for my professor's yellow lab and thoroughly enjoyed caring for him when I was so far from my own dog. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
“This was Leann's second time meeting our pup, Furaha, before and upcoming weekend dog sitting. Furaha was comfortable with Leanna from the second they met, which is rare for Furaha as she's typically very standoffish and even slightly aggressive with new humans. Leann has also been very punctual, professional, and flexible (willing to meet whenever works best for us). I'm glad to have found her through this site!”
