About: Hello! I have been volunteering for a local shelter for over five years taking in an array of cats and dogs of all ages. I have fostered over 100 dogs and 200 cats. I have a fenced in back yard and let the dogs out and spend most of the time outdoors. We have a dog, cat, and my daughter. Someone is always home so we don’t have to crate (unless necessary) any animal. I would love to open my home to you or get to know yours! Someone is always home so your dog/cat will always have someone there for you. I will give your animal 100% of my care and attention while they are in our home. In my home I am able to be in the same room with with the dog in care. My dog sleeps in our bed so I am around animals constantly. There’s a fenced in back yard so when outside my dog is always with me as well. If I go to a clients home we will be just as attentive and respectful in this home. Whatever they need/ special diets / any special accommodations will be met (able to admitted meds or special foods /diets).

This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary. I have a good eye for ticks and am always checking and finding them, but your dog should be treated for this too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

Each animal has a temperament of their own which takes time and patience, to be able to work with them successfully. As of now my schedule is wide open! Since walking in the rain is not an option for Dickens, they sometimes play ball in my family room so Dickens can work off some of his excess energy. I also hired Jaclyn to dog sit for several days to live in my house with Dickens during the 2024 Christmas holiday so that I could have a visit with family. It was comforting to have someone who loves my dog as I do, stay in my house with him—someone I trust completely. I recommend Jaclyn whole heartedly She always comes when she is supposed to, texts me if she is running late and is totally reliable.
