About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’m new to Rover, but not to pet care. I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friends, and coworkers pets for over 15 years. This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space clean, laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in the mail, take out the trash. I want your home to be a safe haven when you get back, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I make sure your pet is happy, clean, litter scooped, fed, walked, and they will get lots of love and playtime. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are happy and cared for in your absence. I have references on my website which I’m happy to share upon request. I provide a free meet and greet before sitting dates; I want to meet you and your pet, and ensure they are comfortable with me ahead of my visit. I love check-ins for longer stays and will send photos if desired. My house sitting overnight services are in high-demand so please book ahead for best results. Let me know how I can help! I look forward to meeting you ☺️🐶🐾 My main focus is on building dog walking and pet care services, so I’m available for all your pet care needs! I am often in Amherst or Greenfield and don’t mind traveling. My house sitting is very in demand so please book early. I have more flexibility for daytime walks. Thank you! I will go over your regular routines with you about your furry family member, and chat about what keeping your pet safe looks like. I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye and make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street and keep alert for traffic or any other hazards. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary. I have a good eye for ticks and am always checking and finding them, but your dog should be treated for this too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

“Matt was great- took good care of our pup while we were away for the weekend and sent pics each day we were away. He left our home clean, stripped the bed, and even shoveled our driveway when we got snow while we were gone! Recommended! Would definitely use Matt again.”

“Haydn arrived on time and was ready to hang with the dogs! She did a terrific job caring for our three dogs for the day. Would definitely recommend.”

About: Hi! I’m Gus and would love to care for your pet 🐾. I grew up with dachshunds and now share two cats with my partner in Greenfield. I love getting to know animals — their personalities, love languages, favorite treats — and will give your animal the attention it deserves. 💕 I am happy to take walks, play games, and offer cuddles. My goal is to provide a worry-free experience for you and your animal companion by providing consistent and reliable care. I am getting my PhD in English and teach college students during the school year. My schedule in the summer is very flexible, aside from writing a dissertation. I am looking for extra income to supplement my teaching stipend. I am able to come mornings and evenings, and stay the day if needed. I believe in respecting animals’ boundaries. I have two cats who are fiercely independent but also need lots of attention. Figuring out this balance is something I believe is individual to an animal and I will prioritize the way your animal expresses their needs. 😊 My two cats are indoor, as I prefer to keep them safe from outdoor pests. I include them in weekend activities (cooking, movie nights, etc) and play with them daily. One is especially talkative so I make sure to give her lots of verbal affirmation. They each have two litterboxes and we feed them twice a day - both wet and dry food. Cleanliness is also a big part of our routine. Brushing, cleaning litterboxes and food bowls, and providing fresh water are taken care of on a daily basis. In terms of dog care (I grew up with several dachshunds), I am accustomed to taking dogs on daily walks, cleaning and bathing if needed, and offering more energetic (or chill) play times depending on your dog’s needs. Several animals I have cared for in the past have been on special diets, or needed medication. I am happy to do so for your pet if needed, and understand the importance of careful measurements and serving portions.

“Colin did a terrific job for us! His work ethic was evident from the very beginning as he took copious notes during our meet and greet. The dogs loved him and I had every confidence he was going to be a great sitter. We weren’t disappointed. Colin was confident and handled all the details of their medications, special diets and quirks with good humor and grace. Finally, Colin’s respect for our home was unmatched by any of our previous sitters. His attention to detail was so appreciated!”

About: I've taken care of family pets, neighbors pets, and my own animals from a young age. I adopted my own puppy when I was in middle school, who I cared for and trained all on my own. I went through the whole range of basic training up to agility classes with her. I also have lifelong experience caring for cats, and caring for more elderly dogs belonging to family and friends. I'm now in college and really missing my own pets, so I'm super excited to be helping others care for their animals! I'm a college student with a class schedule that offers unique availability to take care of your pets! I'm regularly available during certain days of the week as well as evenings and weekends. I do not offer pet boarding or care in my home, but I have a variety of experiences caring for pets at their owners homes.

“Hope was so lovely and my animals were so happy and calm when I got back - I know they were well loved!! Will definitely book her again in the future.”

About: Hi there! My name is Imani and I have a deep sense of love for all animals, especially dogs and cats :) I’ve been working alongside my girlfriend the past three years with dog walking/house sitting and after gaining so much experience and knowledge I decided to start my own profile. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different breeds and sizes of dogs which gives me the confidence to handle any pup that comes my way! I’m extremely reliable and meticulous when it comes to my work and caring for my clients pets. My main focus is always safety, fun, and providing owners a sense of comfort while their pet is in the hands of someone they can trust. You can count on me to deliver the best job possible every time and give your pets the love and kindness they deserve. I look forward to connecting and working with you and your pets in the future! Trust is fundamentally important to me and I promise to follow any guidelines/instructions for your pet you and leave your home cleaner than when I found it.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 7 years, including extensive experience with in-home sitting for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m flexible, calm, and patient. I'm great at matching any dogs needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, injections, and inhalers, and I always focus on helping dogs feel safe, understood, and relaxed in their home environment. I follow routines closely and pay attention to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I’m currently a junior studying Animal Science on the Pre-Veterinary Track, so I bring both compassion and a strong knowledge of animal health. I’m confident in recognizing early signs of illness or stress and always prioritize your dog’s well-being and comfort. I'm currently working part time at a Fish facility. My shifts are quite short (often 2-3 hours) with slight variability. I can be with your pets very frequently! I am great at following whatever instructions are provided to me. I follow a strong "leave no trace" policy while overnight sitting. Other than possibly doing any dishes left out, your house will be maintained exactly as you left it! Your pet, if comfortable, will receive a lot of attention and pets. I'm very patient with shy or reactive animals. My flexibility and adaptability are a few of my biggest strengths.

Jaclyn P.
“When my toy Cavapoo, Dickens, and I first met Jaclyn Parker she was a receptionist at a hair salon. I was surprised and delighted to see that she also was willing to do pet sitting and dog walking. She soon left the salon and now does pet care full time. I was so happy to see that my dog was immediately attracted to Jaclyn. Her love of animals is apparent. At my age, it is hard for me to give my dog all the exercise that he needs—I walk with a cane. I hired Jaclyn to walk Dickens twice a week- and it has been an outstanding success. When Jaclyn comes, Dickens literally squeals with delight because he is so excited to see her. Since walking in the rain is not an option for Dickens, they sometimes play ball in my family room so Dickens can work off some of his excess energy. I also hired Jaclyn to dog sit for several days to live in my house with Dickens during the 2024 Christmas holiday so that I could have a visit with family. It was comforting to have someone who loves my dog as I do, stay in my house with him—someone I trust completely. I recommend Jaclyn whole heartedly She always comes when she is supposed to, texts me if she is running late and is totally reliable. She is a genuinely nice person and anyone who hires her is getting a gem.”

“I can and do highly recommend Augusta for pet care through Rover. I have known her for over 15 years, and she has taken care of my current two dogs, and well as their older siblings who have left us. She also loves cats -- just an all-around animal lover. She will provide great pet care because she is gentle and fun-loving, as well as very responsible. I have never had qualms about having her into my home to take care of animals. She is very knowledgeable about pet safety -- the need for leashes, basic commands, avoiding over-stimulation in crowds, etc. As a human being, Augusta is smart and funny, determined, and caring. (She has also been a Montessori classroom teacher.) Highest recommendation!”

“Imani is one of the most responsible and responsive caregivers I've ever witnessed. His rapport with our dogs (and cats) is profound. He's genuinely heart centered.”

Keziah S.
“Kizzie is a kind and thoughtful pet sitter. I have spent a fair amount of time with Kizzie while managing kiddos, and I find Kizzie to be very responsible, kind but firm, and very caring. Kizzie seems to truly enjoy spending time and playing with the animals. We traveled for a week and Kizzie stayed at the house, and did a great job caring for our dog and cat. Kizzie communicated with us as necessary - letting us know if anything happened (our dog 1.5 years old - stuff happens!), and we came home to happy and well adjusted pets. I think Kizzie even trained our dog a few new things! The best indicator that Kizzie did a great job is that whenever Kizzie is around the neighborhood, our pets and our kids are eager to say hi!”

“Liz is an amazing human and great pet care provider. She helped us out when we needed a place for our sweet 13-year old dog, Lobo, to stay while we were out of town. She was very responsive, sent sweet photo updates of Lobo, shared about some of their adventures / walks, and was able to support his special diet providing medicine to him when he needed it. We would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for pet care.”
