About: I’ve taken care of cats of many ages and kinds since I was very young and well I have not had a lot of experience with dogs. I am very friendly with them and know my way around taking care of them! I will provide your pets with all of the unconditional attention and love that they need while you are gone. Whether you have a fenced in yard or not, I will keep them safe with me! The safety of your pet is my number one priority. I always use the best practices, I believe in positive reinforcement, and do not use any cruel methods. I would like to know if your dog or cat has any behavioral issues such as reactivity, aggression, a bite history, etc. I would also like to know of any specific medical conditions that your pet has. I am currently available almost every single day of the week as long as booking is done three days in advance I am available anytime of the day necessary! I have two cats at home and feed them and clean their litter boxes every single night, I am able to clean and care for your cats as well and even bring toys or engaging materials to my clients house to play with the cats!

She said she enjoyed meeting Archie and that he was always near her. She was patient with a feisty, semi house trained pup from Wed. afternoon till Friday a.m. She really accommodated us at the last minute so we could get away as planned. She sent us updates and photos and reassured us that though we were leaving Archie for the first time, he was well taken care of. We will ask her to be Archie's sitter again. Thank you, Maggie!”

“My wife and I found Sarah on Rover because we were planning a destination wedding with all of our friends and family. All the people we usually ask to watch our dog, our cat, or take care of our house would be joining us for 10 days in another country. Understandably, we were apprehensive about entrusting all that to a person we did not know. When we connected with Sarah, a few months before, we chatted and discussed organizing a meet and greet and then having Sarah do some regular dog walks in the weeks leading up to the event. At every step of the way, Sarah was prompt, communicative, friendly, honest, and above all, incredibly caring and loving to our animals. Before we left, Sarah checked in once more with a detailed review of all the logistics we had discussed for the stay. Sarah arrived as planned and spent 10 days taking the best care of our dog Mia, our cat Tar, and looking after our entire house. She stayed at the house overnight, took Mia for walks each day, played with Mia in the yard, and spent some quality comfort time in the house with both Mia and Tar. She updated us daily with pictures of the animals as well as information about the day’s activities and how the animals were doing. We were always fully comfortable that our house and animals were in the best of hands. We will continue to hire Sarah in the future for house sitting and pet care needs and give her the highest recommendation.”

About: I have lived with and taken care of at least two dogs of various sizes my entire life. Over the past few years I have dog sat and dog walked the pets of family/friends. Some of which had special accommodations such as meds or a strict schedule which was no problem at all! I love spending time with animals so let me bring my care and love to your pets to make your life easier! I am a recent college graduate looking for a full time job at the moment. Until I find that position, my schedule is as open as it needs to be to take good care of any pets. For my own pets, I share responsibility of all the basic needs of a pet; feeding, walking, giving attention, letting them out for the bathroom, etc.. For the pets of my client I provide all of those necessary services myself. I can dedicate any needed time and effort to ensure that the pet stays safe, healthy and active.

“Jaclyn goes above and beyond for the pets she cares for. We got lots of updates and pictures throughout the weekend, and the house was spotless when we arrived home. It felt like our pets were getting a vacation and not just adequate care. My dog was happy and exhausted on Sunday night. Our cat gave Jaclyn a bit of a hard time and was being protective of his space. Jaclyn was patient and a good sport, and Louie got over it quickly! Everyone was happy and stress-free when we got back. Absolutely nothing but good things to say! We'll be lucky if Jaclyn is available next time we need pet care.”

About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. On top of pet-sitting and day trip/walking experience I have experience as an assistant groomer from working for The Green Groomer in Northampton, MA which you are welcome to get in touch with as a reference. I also worked at a Dog Daycare in the Boston area before moving to Western MA, where I was involved with many responsibilities surrounding the pups including providing their meals, pick-ups/drop-offs, de-escalation of conflict, and general moderation of behavior. Working in this field has granted me the opportunity to work with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes and has taught me how to interact with pups from all walks of life. On top of that I have experience with bathing, nails, and ear cleanings from my time at the Green Groomer. My schedule is extremely flexible, with open availability during the week before 3PM, making check-ins during the work day hassle free, and my shift never getting out later than 10:30PM, so overnight boardings are still not a problem during my work week. I also have Friday-Sundays off so long weekend boardings are always an option. Please let me know in advance of any house rules for your pup (i.e furniture rules, dietary restrictions, routine scheduling) and I will be sure to follow them with the same consistency you would. In regards to boarding with me they would be boarded in a pet-free, smoke-free, child-free condo with a large unfenced yard in the back for leashed outings when needed!
