About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. About: I’ve taken care of cats of many ages and kinds since I was very young and well I have not had a lot of experience with dogs. I am very friendly with them and know my way around taking care of them! I strive to be the best and most responsible pet parent | can possibly be, and when your pets are in my care I will give them the same dedication. I will provide your pets with all of the unconditional attention and love that they need while you are gone. Whether you have a fenced in yard or not, I will keep them safe with me! The safety of your pet is my number one priority. I always use the best practices, I believe in positive reinforcement, and do not use any cruel methods. I would like to know if your dog or cat has any behavioral issues such as reactivity, aggression, a bite history, etc. I would also like to know of any specific medical conditions that your pet has. I am currently available almost every single day of the week as long as booking is done three days in advance I am available anytime of the day necessary! I have two cats at home and feed them and clean their litter boxes every single night, I am able to clean and care for your cats as well and even bring toys or engaging materials to my clients house to play with the cats!

On top of pet-sitting and day trip/walking experience I have experience as an assistant groomer from working for The Green Groomer in Northampton, MA which you are welcome to get in touch with as a reference. I also worked at a Dog Daycare in the Boston area before moving to Western MA, where I was involved with many responsibilities surrounding the pups including providing their meals, pick-ups/drop-offs, de-escalation of conflict, and general moderation of behavior. Working in this field has granted me the opportunity to work with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes and has taught me how to interact with pups from all walks of life. On top of that I have experience with bathing, nails, and ear cleanings from my time at the Green Groomer. My schedule is extremely flexible, with open availability during the week before 3PM, making check-ins during the work day hassle free, and my shift never getting out later than 10:30PM, so overnight boardings are still not a problem during my work week. I also have Friday-Sundays off so long weekend boardings are always an option. Please let me know in advance of any house rules for your pup (i.e furniture rules, dietary restrictions, routine scheduling) and I will be sure to follow them with the same consistency you would. In regards to boarding with me they would be boarded in a pet-free, smoke-free, child-free condo with a large unfenced yard in the back for leashed outings when needed!

Kiersten did such a wonderful job of caring for our four cats while we were away! She arrived on time, well prepared for her stay at our home. I was immediately at ease with her, and could see that our cats were too. She sent photo updates each day, which was a comfort to us as we traveled, and the cats looked great and very relaxed with her. Most surprising for us was that our very energetic and sometimes anxious newest cat, who arrived just a few months ago, really loved being with Kiersten, and he very soon got cozy with her! He was just beginning to relax with us but hadn't yet even begun to sit on my lap when I left. Our eldest cat also clearly loved being with her! He's very unique and emotionally complex, and doesn't always relate so easily with people. We are very grateful for her attentive care to our precious cats, and highly recommend her services.
