We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. The biggest compliment to Kourtney's care is that when we picked him up, he greeted me with enthusiasm but not anywhere near the crazy welcome I usually get, AND he kept looking back at Kourtney as if he was unsure whether he wanted to leave! About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

“Dorjee was wonderful with Meryl. I loved that she answered messages quickly and sent photos of Meryl on walks. Despite the great service and I thought good relationship, I was shocked that Dorjee suddenly told me she was refusing to communicate with me or do business anymore because of my questions. This sudden severence is quite upsetting to me. I so much wish she would have told me she had issues with my questions rather than suddenly ending all communication with no warning.”

“Heidi was awesome! We chose her to give my little westie the most homelike environment while we traveled. At home he is allowed on furniture and to sleep in the bed so we loved that Heidi allowed the same. He’s also an old guy so we loved that she takes only 1 dog at a time. “Bojack loved staying with Kourtney! He is a fourteen years old. I like that Kourtney has a background in veterinary medicine. Not only did that make me trust her with his daily meds, it was nice knowing that there was a trained eye on him. Bojack is overly bonded to me to the point that he often sits by the window waiting for me to return when I go out. The biggest compliment to Kourtney's care is that when we picked him up, he greeted me with enthusiasm but not anywhere near the crazy welcome I usually get, AND he kept looking back at Kourtney as if he was unsure whether he wanted to leave! We will definitely have her watch him again.”
