“Maggie did a terrific job with our 5 mo. old Westie, Archie! She came at the last minute when our original sitter did not show up. She said she enjoyed meeting Archie and that he was always near her. She was patient with a feisty, semi house trained pup from Wed. afternoon till Friday a.m. She really accommodated us at the last minute so we could get away as planned. She sent us updates and photos and reassured us that though we were leaving Archie for the first time, he was well taken care of. We will ask her to be Archie's sitter again. Thank you, Maggie!”

All the people we usually ask to watch our dog, our cat, or take care of our house would be joining us for 10 days in another country. Understandably, we were apprehensive about entrusting all that to a person we did not know. When we connected with Sarah, a few months before, we chatted and discussed organizing a meet and greet and then having Sarah do some regular dog walks in the weeks leading up to the event. At every step of the way, Sarah was prompt, communicative, friendly, honest, and above all, incredibly caring and loving to our animals. Before we left, Sarah checked in once more with a detailed review of all the logistics we had discussed for the stay. Sarah arrived as planned and spent 10 days taking the best care of our dog Mia, our cat Tar, and looking after our entire house. She stayed at the house overnight, took Mia for walks each day, played with Mia in the yard, and spent some quality comfort time in the house with both Mia and Tar. She updated us daily with pictures of the animals as well as information about the day’s activities and how the animals were doing. We were always fully comfortable that our house and animals were in the best of hands. We will continue to hire Sarah in the future for house sitting and pet care needs and give her the highest recommendation.”

About: Hiya! My names Elias. I offer my services to pet sit and take care of your dogs, cats, fish, snakes, you name it. All I’d need is what feeding, walking, and interactive guidelines you have and I’ll be sure to meet them! I have had cats and dogs my whole life, currently 2 cats and 2 dogs that live with my parents while I work to settle, and have worked both with a diabetic cat as well as disabled cats at a shelter back in highschool. I’ve also house/pet sat for family in recent years. I work with dogs from all backgrounds, including rescues who may be reactive/ medically complex. I have multiple regular obligations a week both on and off of Rovers services so my schedule may depend on what I have that day over all, but I will always work closely with you to try and find a time that works. During our meet and greet I’ll ask how you prefer your pup be handled both outside and inside, what their schedule is like, and if you possibly have things written down I’d be able to use as a reminder while I sit them. About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature

About: Experienced pet-sitter with a widely flexible schedule available for any needs you may have for your pet! On top of pet-sitting and day trip/walking experience I have experience as an assistant groomer from working for The Green Groomer in Northampton, MA which you are welcome to get in touch with as a reference. I also worked at a Dog Daycare in the Boston area before moving to Western MA, where I was involved with many responsibilities surrounding the pups including providing their meals, pick-ups/drop-offs, de-escalation of conflict, and general moderation of behavior. Working in this field has granted me the opportunity to work with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes and has taught me how to interact with pups from all walks of life. On top of that I have experience with bathing, nails, and ear cleanings from my time at the Green Groomer. My schedule is extremely flexible, with open availability during the week before 3PM, making check-ins during the work day hassle free, and my shift never getting out later than 10:30PM, so overnight boardings are still not a problem during my work week. I also have Friday-Sundays off so long weekend boardings are always an option. Please let me know in advance of any house rules for your pup (i.e furniture rules, dietary restrictions, routine scheduling) and I will be sure to follow them with the same consistency you would. In regards to boarding with me they would be boarded in a pet-free, smoke-free, child-free condo with a large unfenced yard in the back for leashed outings when needed!

About: I have been around dogs for 20 years. I have pet sat for old dogs who can’t really walk any more. I also have worked with younger puppies. I am currently a college student. During the semester I can do most weekends, and can do morning and night shifts during the weekdays. Once the summer starts I can do all days. I am good at following owners instructions. If dogs need crated or need training I am capable of doing that. I also can walk dogs and keep them safe.
