About: I have been pet-sitting for friends and neighbors for a few years, so I have experience with young and old cats and dogs! I also have experience with housesitting and overnight stays for people with dogs as well. Growing up, we had two cats and a few dogs, so I'm comfortable working with a variety of pets with different needs and personalities! I'm currently done with work for the season, so I have a pretty open schedule and am available for drop-in visits, walks, or housesitting needs. I'll make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and taken care of! I love long walks, and I always make sure they get the exercise, playtime, and attention that they need.

About: Hello, my names Evie! I have trained and handled many dogs , teaching new tricks and diminishing bad behaviors. I’ve also worked with many other animals including horses, training them for Grand Prix & coaching Vermont Olympic Equestrian team! Most animals I handle are considered “hard to manage”. If this is the case, I can evaluate your pet during walks or visits , and we can talk about the relationship with your pet. Also what you desire with them. To date I have many pets, three dogs, two cats, three frogs, and a snake & many more reptiles. All of which have advanced care , one dog being elderly, 2 young puppies. All my dogs are unleashed, and exercised daily, considering I live in the woods around many trails. If your dog can only be walked on leash that’s okay & accommodations can be made. A dry area provided inside when it rains. At clients homes I intend to stick to their routines, adding additional exercise and a little bit of thinking.

About: As a dog lover, I've had labs and a mini dachshund, from puppies to 15 years old. I grew up with cats and currently have a beautiful Bengal cat. I'm know as the "dog whisperer", because even dogs who normally don't like people respond well to me. I've done obedience and clicker training with my dogs, and am well-versed in handling larger dogs. I absolutely love the outdoors, especially with a four-legged friend- Doggyville easy walking is right up my alley! I'm currently working full-time but close to home and have a flexible schedule. I'll be retiring soon and will have even more time for my furry friends! It's important to me to provide personalized service dependent upon the needs of the fur-baby. I'll work with each family to design an individulaized program that will best meet the needs of your pets.

“Last year both of my dogs, Daisy and Drama, came down with a terrible case of fleas. I treated them, bombed the house, treated the yard, everything I could think of but nothing worked. When I told Emma she inquired about what remedies I had tried, sympathized and offered further suggestions that worked in her experiences. The next day Emma knocked on my door. She had purchased a very pricey flea medication for both Daisy and Drama. She helped me apply it to both of my pups and made sure I understood all the instructions. She would not accept the payment for the treatment simply telling me “as long as their happy (Daisy and Drama) I’m happy.” Within a couple days both my pups and my house were free of fleas! I’ve never met anyone that cares for animals and their people as much as Emma does. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for my girls and I.”

About: When I lived in my grandmothers house I would frequently house sit for relatives that rented out the bottom apartment. They have 2 senior dogs that needed a little extra attention and love, and a few house plants. I took care of them roughly 4 or 5 times over the years (not consecutively, so not quite an entire year of experience) so that their moms could go on vacation and recover from hospital stays. Since then, I have gone on to get a job at a Doggie Daycare facility out near Boston, where I am continuing to learn more about dog behavior and health. At my job we are trained on safety procedures & health concerns to be on the lookout for, and I have been trained to watch for body language changes. I am currently looking for something to fill my time during the beginning of the week. On weekends and later on in the week I commute to Boston for my job at the doggie daycare. I am also flexible with my weekend dates, so with enough notice I can move almost anything around. I can easily crate a dog if needed for safety of any kind. My position at the daycare is to constantly be on the lookout for changes in behavior and mood, so you can entrust that I will always have your pups safety as priority number one. I am also well versed in being able to reward the good behavior and ignore the bad (within reason) so as not to encourage attention seeking behavior, but still reward even the simplest well done tasks (sitting down/relaxing, playing safely).

About: My family has always had cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. I love them all so much, I’d love to come meet your pet and help you. I work at a school so I currently have the summer off. When school starts back up I’ll be available nights and weekends and will still house sit. I will work with you and your pets to make sure they are getting the best care possible, down to what words you use for commands to help with training.
