About: I gained a majority of my pet care experience through owning family pets. Small and large breeds alike, both cats and dogs (some mice and a bunny at some point, too!). I spent a few years as a dog groomer as well, which afforded me additional experience learning behavioral cues and how to safely handle and interact with pets other than my own. I've trained the dogs I have/had but I am not certified in that regard. I have a husband at home, infant son, 12 year old daughter, and our furry friends; a golden retriever/chow mix and a little short haired kitty. Both are wonderful (aren't they all, though) and will be eager to play with your furry loved ones, although my cat keeps to herself and spends her time in a separate floor of the house when other pets are here. Your pets are my family's #1 priority when in our care. We want to make sure they have plenty of fun during their stay and get lots of love and treats! I am currently a SAHM (stay at home mama) and work remotely so I have plenty of time for furry friends! They will never be left alone without someone home to care for and play with them. We have a large backyard, though not fenced in (yet). We do have a large lead in the yard which allows for 50ft of free roaming any direction and plenty of room to run and play. We live in a very safe neighborhood that can be utilized for walks.

About: I love dogs and taking care of them no matter the size. I am available 7 days a week any time of day. I will take care of them in my own home weather it be just for a few hours or the day or the week I'm available. I do have my own dogs who are very friendly. I have a nice backyard great for playing catch relaxing in a dog pool or just running around. I have owned dogs my whole life I would give them baths brush there hair clean there ears cut there nails and always showed them love and will help take care of your furry friend as well. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm available all the time except when I'm doing pick up and drop offs for my kids at school. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs who can keep your fur baby company and can easily separate the dogs to keep them all safe

Both my dog and I are SO happy to have Elias's help every week!”

About: I've had animals since I was a child. I have helped neighbors, friends, and family members care for their furkids. Walking, feeding, caring for them is the least I can do. I provide them with love as if they are my own. I'm currently working at a job that allows me to come and go as I please with plenty of flexibility. I can help at anytime of any day! I have a fenced yard for my 3 Siberian Huskies and my golden retriever. I also have a Cat, 2 Green Cheek Conures, a Chinchilla, and a Sugar Glider. One of my Dogs is Diabetic so I have plenty of experience with administering oral medications and injections.
7. Michelle V.
“Michelle has been wonderful with all my animals from dogs to ducks, chickens and even a mani pedi on my Guinea pig! She does nail trims, grooming, and muck outs, and her work is outstanding.”

About: Hi! I moved to Brattleboro in 2019 to study circus arts full time at the New England Center for Circus Arts as an aerialist. I grew up raising Moose and Molly, our awesome black labs. We got Moose as a puppy, and Molly as a rescue. We also have two cats: Millie and Max (standing for Maximum Cat... he's huge). Both were rescues as well. After Molly passed away last year, we got Cowboy, who was a long time shelter dog all over the country because he was “too intimidating” and labeled as “unadoptable.” He was scheduled to be euthanized but we took him in and he is a big softy now. He just needed a loving home, and he and Moose are best buds. I've been caring for them, as well as other dogs, cats, fish, birds, iguanas, ferrets, etc. for about fifteen years, on and off. I also have been volunteering at the Humane Society in my hometown in Michigan for two years. I absolutely LOVE animals, and am always so bummed that I can't have any of my own, due to housing rules, so thanks for letting me love on yours instead! :) I will happily hang with your pet at their home, where they are comfy, as well as play/run/walk them, and take them wherever you wish (parks, vet, etc.). I have a dog and cat friendly vehicle, and am happy to take your pet on more elaborate field trips if you wish. I am a professional dancer and circus artist, studying at the New England Center for Circus Arts. This means I'm usually in class from about 8am-4pm on week days, but am available for a lunch visit 12-1pm. I am free as a bird on weekends! I do not offer boarding due to no-pet rules at my home, so only visits and house sitting. But I will happily love on your pup at their home!

“Kelsey watched our golden retriever, Tucker for many years. She is enthusiastic and dependable and is passionate about working with animals (especially dogs). She is high energy and has a wonderful sense of humor. Our Tucker would get so excited upon her arrival. in addition to daily visits, Kelsey would stay at our home for extended periods when we were away. About: I’ve always had well behaved dogs and cats. Currently we have two dogs, a 2 1/2 year old rescued lab mix and a senior pug mix. We also have some other animals, 4 indoor cats, 6 outdoor cats, chickens that free range, ducks and rabbits. When I was in high school and junior high I walked dogs after school and in the summers I house and dog sat this included dogs with strict diets, training routines and all activity levels. I make my own work schedule so I can work around you! I currently spend most of my time working on or from my property. We have a large yard for long leashed fetch with local hiking trails connected to the property for daily walks. The house has a large gated porch with a pond view that our pups can spend the whole day looking at but it also connects to small fenced yard area. For indoor space we have a spare bedroom and all different size crates. Well behaved pups will also be aloud in the main living area. All animals are different I want to be respectful of your pets needs and provide them comfort and fun distractions while they eagerly await your return.

“Stacey is a wonderful pet sitter. My Lhasa, Myka, absolutely adored her. Stacey is punctual, thoughtful, and excellent with dogs. She cared for Myka like her own. Stacey is very communicative and easy to reach. I trusted her in my home and with my dog, and would hire her anytime. She’s the best petsitter I’ve used.”
15. Margaret K.
“It is my pleasure to let you know about Margaret's love for animals. She has cared for and nutured my pets over the years. Minnie , my current dog is sweet and also very active. It is assuring to know that my pet caregiver has the energy to keep up with her. Margaret is also very intuitive. My pup is not very verbal when it comes to her needs. Minnie speaks with her eyes. Margaret has learned what each expression means. I have watched her with her pets and other along the way. I can say she is a kindred spirit.”
16. Jillian C.
“Jillian is amazing with animals! She is very in tune, and attentive to their needs. She is a great person, and truly loves all animals.”
17. Julia W.
About: I’ve sat my family’s and friends’ pets for years and also take care of my own. I’ve dealt with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, hyper dogs, as well as many different personalities of cats. I’m comfortable with small pets as well. I’m currently working full-time at a vet clinic but have early morning, evening, and weekend availability. I prioritize the care of furry friends over anything else and strive to keep them active and happy. I’m comfortable with caring for all personalities; from reactive dogs to silly hyperactive dogs, as well as feisty kitties. I currently work as a Vet Assistant and previously worked as a daycare attendant, so I am familiar with appropriate discipline.
18. Ambria M.
“Ambria is a very considerate, kind, and loving person. The dogs love her, and we have been very grateful to have a person like her take care of our pets. We never have to worry or be concerned about anything. She checks in plenty, and is very responsible. Easily the best dog walker/sitter I have come across. Lucky to have someone like her to take care of my beloved pets. She can get booked very quickly, so I recommend contacting her asap if you’re considering a sitter.”
19. Samantha H.
About: I have been around all different kinds of animals since I was a child and have always had a special love for them. All pets deserve unconditional love and kindness, and I am here to help with that! I am working full time from home and am able to adjust my lunch break for pets that need a walk or need someone to check in on them! I am available after 5 on weekdays and am completely free on weekends. Each pet has their own personality, so care will need to be adjusted to meet the needs of each pet. I have plenty experience in high energy dogs as well as very lazy dogs. Some need pets, cuddles, and a walk whereas some will need lots of running around to get their energy out! I am capable of both and will honor what you feel is best for your fur baby.
20. Haylie W.
About: i’ve always had dogs growing up. I used to walk and bath dogs in middle school and once I became 16 I’ve only had jobs with dogs. I have experience with special needs dogs, old dogs, young dogs, and puppies. i’ve always been reliable and will go above and beyond for every dog. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in’s Monday/Tuesday anytime of day. Wednesday-Saturday before 8:30 am or after 6pm. In addition I’m also available for holidays! I’m able to follow your instructions, scoop yards, crate dogs, play outside, and refresh waters, and make sure your house is 100% secure before I leave.
