Greetings! I’ve had the pleasure of Dogsitting for more than a decade. It’s brings me so much joy and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies. Teryn, my partner, and I both grew up in Amherst and are back in the happy valley starting this summer. He works remotely and I work seasonally so we have the time to give our attention and affection to the pups we watch. Dogsitting has become our additional full time job and we love it! Our schedules and home allow us to give 24/7 attention to your furbabies with numerous outdoor breaks, play, and of course snuggles. Though I have fortunately never had to use it, I do have extensive Dogsitting insurance to cover both boarding and housesitting. We value the peace of mind it brings both us and our clients. I have a degree in Biology and worked as a Veterinary Technician, giving me the experience of various breeds and needs. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have.

I feel so lucky to have found Sofie and Teryn! They took such great care of my two dogs for the whole day. I was thrilled to get pictures right away and throughout the day while I was gone. Sofie is the most amazing petsitter I have ever met. Moki and Ollie were well cared for on a very stressful house-moving-day and Sofie was a kind and generous host even as she navigated their upset tummy issues. Sofie and Teryn are the absolute best! They took care of our rescue pitbull Balam for over a week and I know Balam had a great time with them :) Sofie and Teryn kept us informed, sent pics , and did all sorts of cool things with Balam. Thanks for taking such good care of Balam! I even think Balam is missing Sofie and Teryn already. Would 100% recommend them to take care of your dog.
Sofie is a wonderful dog sitter and house sitter. I have two large breed dogs that require lots of attention and special feeding instructions, Sofie handled it all with ease. Sofie is a good communicator and was always available through the Rover app. The house was well cared for and the dogs were happy when I returned home after a long weekend away for work.
Sofie watched our dog Gracie for a long weekend on short notice. We came home and Gracie acted like we’d barely left, which is always the best for a pet owner. Sofie was very responsive and checked in on several home-related things during her stay as well as status updates for Gracie. Will definitely use Sofie again.
Sofie was great - saved us last minute when our previous sitter cancelled and was super communicative. Our pup was happy and spoiled by the time we got home! ?

Schedule
Boarding dogs has become part of our daily routine so we have a schedule to fit all needs and preferences. Once you book with us, we work our schedule around the booking.

Safety, trust & environment
I love enjoying walks around the lake we live on, as well as the many trails nearby. We can also play fetch in the backyard if pup can be off leash. Our house is in a very low traffic area full of nature. We are very attentive and we make sure we have details on their routines, feeding, medications and any special needs.
A typical day
We sunbathe on the porch, walk around the lake, and snuggle in the many beds or couches. Nature walks are one of our favorite activities to do with pups. At home, pups are allowed on our couches chair and bed (if allowed at home).
