“I recommend you hire Maggie. She did a wonderful job house sitting for us and caring for our Great Dane. She visited ahead of time to get to know is and the property. She communicated promptly and clearly before and during the visit. I came home to a calm and happy dog. The house was just as we left it. I look forward to booking Maggie the next time we need someone to watch our dog and property.”

About: I’ve had 3 pets in my life mainly dogs but have lived with other’s cats when I’m at school. One of my dogs is a senior 16 years old! Still hyper and I love caring for her needs. Im currently a university student and as I’m in my senior year have much more schedule flexibility on certain days of the week and time between classes some of which are remote! Pet care easily fits in! In a clients home I like to care for pets letting them take the lead and using whatever instructions and tips pet owners have, they know their pets best after all.
“I've known Sally for a few years and not only is she a kind, caring, responsible, and wonderful person, but she loves animals! She has two cats and a dog whom she loves very much and provides them with so much love and care. I was lucky enough to foster a dog with her this past summer and she showed that pup nothing but love and cuddles during her stay. Sally will make an amazing walker/sitter for your pet :)”
“Xixi was amazing and really went above and beyond for me and my pup :) highly recommend they even helped my neighbor out ! Great job :) ? ?”
“Matthew was polite, communicative, and managed our two dogs and their unique needs well. It isn’t always easy, with one dog a bundle of energy and the other a bit more anxious. It was nice to arrive back from our trip with our home in good condition and the dogs happy and healthy, and we’ll definitely consider Matthew for future dog/house-sitting needs.”
“Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. When we picked Dakota up, he was in fine shape and clearly had been well-taken-care of. We'll definitely use Emily again!”
“Beyond superlative pet care, and being a great communicator--Hannah is one of those rare people who understands animals at a deep level. Whether it be what motivates them, what makes them anxious or relaxed, what they love--she has that sixth sense. I would trust my most beloved pet with her.”
About: I’ve had and taken care of my dogs throughout the years ever since I was a little girl! I’ve always had at least one dog in the house since I can remember and have trained them myself along with the help of family members. I have had experience with puppies and experience with senior dogs. I take my dog to the groomers regularly and always prioritize enough play time and exercise throughout the day! I’m currently working at an elementary school throughout the week. My day ends at roughly 2:30 and I still have so much free time to spend! I am confident I can give your pet all the time that they need! I do not see my schedule or weekly routine prohibiting me in any way to giving your pet the care they need during the day! I have a little chihuahua who spends most of her time inside but goes for the occasional walk around my quiet neighborhood! I live in a very quiet neighborhood with little to no busy traffic which makes it perfect for taking pets on walks safely and no distractions! I also live close to SugarLoaf which is perfect for taking dogs on the trail/ for a hike!!
“Fiona house sat for us for a week, including caring for our two mischievous cats and our garden and did a fantastic job! Our cats were happy and well cared for and all of our plants survived, which is unheard of! Fiona provided regular updates that gave us peace of mind. We will definitely be repeat clients.”
About: I have been pet-sitting for friends and neighbors for a few years, so I have experience with young and old cats and dogs! I also have experience with housesitting and overnight stays for people with dogs as well. Growing up, we had two cats and a few dogs, so I'm comfortable working with a variety of pets with different needs and personalities! I'm currently done with work for the season, so I have a pretty open schedule and am available for drop-in visits, walks, or housesitting needs. I'll make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and taken care of! I love long walks, and I always make sure they get the exercise, playtime, and attention that they need.
“For almost 2 weeks, while I was on vacation in the EU, Carol was at my home with my dog and I was able to let go and completely enjoy my vacation because I knew my dog and home were in good hands. I would highly recommend Carol!”
“Trishul was wonderful! Took Cooper on walks and gave loads of cuddles - he even had a photo shoot - sooo cute.”
“Emma took great care of our house and dog! We had to go away for a few days after only having our puppy for a month. We didn’t want to board him somewhere while he’s still getting settled in to our home. So we had Emma stay with him at our house and it worked out really well. She was great with communication, left our house very clean, and our dog was happy when we got home. We’d definitely have her stay again!”
About: I’m currently an Animal Science major in school and I’ve had a lot of experience in different areas working with a variety of animals. I’ve interned for several vet hospitals and worked for two dog training companies (one for service dogs). I have a lot of experience handling daily care for many different breeds and ages and I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior. I have a maximum of 3 classes a day, some days only 2, which leaves me with plenty of time to help out and work. At the moment I am living in an apartment and am not intending on caring for any pets in my space. Hopefully in the future this could change!
“Victor was a conscientious and devoted pet/house sitter and companion to my dog while I was away for 5 days. Great communication, great care, great house guest -- would definitely use again.”
About: When I was growing up, I was always caring for at least two dogs and cats at my family’s house. Neighbors and friends also made me their go-to dog sitter when they went away. I have loved caring for two greyhounds, four loveable slobbering hunting hounds, a giant golden who always thought he was a puppy, and one super sweet bullmastiff. Since my landlords do not allow pets, I am looking to give my attention to someone else's canine. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I especially appreciate dogs that behave well on leashes and like big walks. I would like to help care for dogs in the Pioneer Valley, ideally around Amherst, Deerfield, and Northampton. If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and experienced dog sitter/walker then let's talk! I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! Cats are cool too 👍 This winter and spring I have flexible working hours. I would love to break up the working day by visiting your pet and going for a walk. I will always provide gentle and loving care to your pets whether that’s playing outside or inside. Wherever care is given, I will always be mindful about respecting your living space
