About: Hi there! I have two wonderful kitties and have had a dog in the past. I love both dogs and cats but especially cats! I have lived with or spent time with consistently many different temperaments of cats! They tend to like me as I don't approach them other than to let them sniff me and then let them come to me on their own terms. One of my cats, Millie, is a rambunctious, food stealing, sprinting devil who is also incredibly sweet. Her sister, Tiny Mouse loves to sit on my partner and nudge your phone out of your hand. The dog I had in the past with my ex-partner was a senior dog, so I do have experience with small, senior dogs. We did a lot of damage control as she got older with puppy pads, meds, letting her lead the way but helping her with walks, etc. I have lived with a large dog for several years in the past, as well as multiple cats. I have had to give meds to cats, dogs and I also have had rabbits! I LOVE rabbits and other small animals, both on the larger side and note. We had to give one of our bunnies meds through an injection in his neck, and I used to be a medical assistant so I can do injections for meds and give meds, etc. I work 9am-5pm with flexibility. Usually I can be somewhere by 5pm as long as I have a heads up! I can be available any time before work. The weekends I’m pretty open! Just check in with me and we can figure something out. I am super careful with dogs and always make sure I have an understanding of if they need tight leash control, can be off lease or will walk next to me! I like to understand what their routine is for walks, snacks etc. before I sit to make them as comfortable with me as possible! Cats I usually just make sure they don't get stuck in a closet somewhere (both of my cats sleep in our closets) or if they're an escape artist that they don't flee!!

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. Walking, feeding, and bathing both dogs and cats. I consider my pets family members! All of my babies are rescues. I have trained my dog through the GoodPup app and he knows the commands sit, stay, lay down, up, paw, leave it, heal, touch, and find it. All my pets are given enrichment activities throughout the day. They’re also stimulated with play/exercise. I know dog and cat body language. I have worked with dogs that have seizure disorders and know how to administer medication to both cats and dogs. I’m work Monday to Friday with my weekends free and open. My work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. I can take dogs for long walks, stimulate them through play, or with enrichment activities. I can administer medication if needed. For cats I can clean the litter box and stimulate them through play or enrichment activities. I can administer medication if needed. Pet safety is my first priority. I believe knowing pet body language is so important because that’s how they communicate their needs. I will care for your love ones as if they were my own! I will follow your schedule and instructions exactly as is because, you know your pet best! I can bath, walk, feed, administer medication, and give my full attention to your babies ☺️

About: I’ve loved animals all my life and felt a deep connection with them. They have been some of my greatest teachers. I’ve provided loving care for cats, dogs, and rabbits throughout my adult years, and each one has been an important part of my world. Maybe because I grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes, and shared my life with Max, my sweet Cavalier, until he passed. One less thing to manage before your trip. My home is calm and quiet, with a large, fully fenced backyard on a peaceful street in Dalton. I work from home, so your dog has company through the day, plus walks, play, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions to the letter so your dog's routine stays as close to home as possible, and you'll get photos and a quick update every day so you can relax and enjoy your trip. Also happy to reinforce any training your dog is working on like leash manners. How I work: Every new client starts with a meet and greet, about 30 minutes with a short walk together, so your dog and I can meet before the stay. It helps make sure we're a great match, and your dog arrives already knowing a friendly face. Boarding in my home is a great fit if your dog: Settles comfortably for stretches after the initial sniffing and cuddles to get used to a new space. I have a large three bedroom home with an huge fenced back yard on a quiet street near trails. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.
