About: I have 2 years of professional experience caring for a pitbull/boxer mix, and have been a pet owner for dogs and cats my entire life. I have experience with young, high energy dogs. I can also add à la carte services to the visit (ie watering a plant, feeding fish, distributing medication). I currently work in education so I’m available after 3:30pm on weekdays and have open availability during weekends. On weekends I can do boarding bookings as well. I have two friendly dogs that can keep your pup company and a dog park 10 minutes from me. There’s a small yard where I can walk dogs around leashed.
About: Growing up, my family dog was epileptic and required a lot of serious attention. Since then, I have watched dogs and cats for weeks during friends and family’s vacations. I currently work a flexible schedule so I can be mostly available to walk your dogs I would just need a heads up on timing! “Grace was super friendly and enthusiastic about giving my cat the best care possible. She communicated well before and during the booking. My kitty has asthma and needs to be given her inhaler twice a day. This can be a bit intimidating to some, but Grace was willing to learn and ask questions. She did have some difficulty reaching the goal number of breaths with the Aerokat, but it's impossible to know the cause. I didn't have her practice using the Aerokat during our meet-and-greet, so she was on her own the first time using it. Also, there are days when Josie is fussy and I also struggle to get the full 10 breaths in. When she had trouble reaching 10 breaths, she reached out to me for recommendations. This is the most I could ask for. The note on her final visit simply stated that Josie was doing well and had been taken care of (she did include pictures). I like when a bit more detail is included. Overall, she truly cared about my kitty, followed directions well, sent pictures every visit, and reached out when she needed help. While I do wish that she had written a bit more in her updates and had more success with the inhaler, I don't think this should affect her rating as I could've asked for more detail in updates and done more training with the inhaler. I would book with her again.”
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience.
